    Many mnany thanks! So, simple? structural and logical presentation of information!
    I have one question... looked Your video twice at those moments and did not get it still.
    About reviews.... 7 out of 10 review lower than 75 on the front page make for us green light or visa versa?
    In the second sample You pay attention to those more than 75 reviewa and counting it to 4, You say it is too compatitive - red light for a hunter...
    And one more question... if I go not for PL but for OA model (from China), is there a difference in analysing and product research? Because as I understand You teach PL model.

    A low ranked/high selling competitor could be dominating the market so why are largely ignoring them?

    • @CrescentKao
      @CrescentKao  2 роки тому

      You don’t want to resort the search results because your goal is to get your listing ranked onto the first page so you need to determine how competitive the competition is amongst the listings that are on the first page. • @ewen1140
    @ewen1140 5 років тому

    I think the end of this video validated what I mentioned about using the same search parameters. In you review of people posting their niches you struggled to find one that passed. This seems to suggest that Amazon is completely saturated or at the least you research parameters are. I can just imagine e the hours those people spend and then they send you probably their best product/ niche and all fail. Something is off here. But I guess people do win the lottery! So there will be one or two that find success this way. Just how I see it

    • @CrescentKao
      @CrescentKao  5 років тому +1

      If it was easy, everyone would be successful. There are over 12 million products in the US Amazon marketplace, you only need to find one. Amazon is far from saturated. To be honest, people with your mindset will never succeed and continue to just make excuses to not take action or for their failures. There are literally countless successful sellers on Amazon. If there wasn't, Amazon wouldn't be as big as is it.

    • @ewen1140
      @ewen1140 5 років тому

      I can sense you getting testy because some challenged what you were saying. I said either Amazon is saturated or you method is. You did state to follow the procedure and if anything does not match then it is a no go. I would qualify that things can be different depending on someone’s budget. I think your budget will dictate what products you choose and what risk you may be willing to take. I still think if your subscribers all put in what you say and follow to the letter than all the products they find will be saturated. I think other methods like those proposed by Tim Jordan also make sense. Glad you think I will fail because I question things. I will continue to question and challenge what I don’t think I follow or makes sense. I think it is the smart thing to do. I never said it was easy, that is exactly what I am getting at it is not as easy as just putting in those search parameters and deciding on a product. I also thought amazon USA had a lot more that 12 million products even excluding books.

    • @CrescentKao
      @CrescentKao  5 років тому

      No one is getting testy. I don't beat around the bush and I call it how I see it. You base your thoughts on a method taught in a single video meant to be a beginner level introduction to product research. I have tons of other vidoes that cover product research using different and more advanced tactics. And no one is forcing you to do product research in any specific way. If you have a better method, by all means, do it and share your experience with everyone. The bottom line is that Amazon is not saturated. Saying so is ignorance of the industry and business. And any method taught and shared online will be saturated if enough people adopt it. That's why I said there's no right or wrong way to do product research. You need to be resourceful and expand beyond the ideas and concepts that are taught by others, otherwise, obviously every method you directly copy is already being used by countless other people. And for the same reasons, you teach people how to do product research by showing them precise examples. You can't teach people how to be resourceful.

    • @CrescentKao
      @CrescentKao  Рік тому

      How competitive a niche is can be gauged by how many reviews the listings have have in the niche. If the niche is too competitive (most of the listings have a lot of reviews), then the product launch costs to get your product listing ranked will be extremely high. For most beginners, it can be cost prohibitively high. That's why if you don't have much capital and/or experience, avoid competitive niches. Always like your video!
    Super clear-explained and detailed. But at the end of the video why can I not sort the ranking based on some criteria? Because even I do, it's gonna sort them within the range of the first page anyways. I sometimes want to see how many new entries are there so I sum up 5 pages of result(by clicking on the top left "next pages--5") and sort them based on the date of entry (Available from) and the question is how many new entries for the past few months are counted for saturated or too many found that niche at the same time if I combine 5 pages of result? I always see a lot when I combine 5 pages. lol..Thanks

    Hi there, quick question for you. Why do you use number of reviews as an indicator of competition? I was previously led to believe that number of reviews was a good way to quickly gauge the number of sales. Could you explain this to me please. Thanks

    • @CrescentKao
      @CrescentKao  4 роки тому

      We use reviews to gauge how competitive a niche is because it's a good way to show how well the listings are doing in the niche as well as indicate how long they've been selling. The more reviews a listing has, generally, the longer they've been selling and more listings with lots of reviews means people are buying from those listings more frequently making it more competitive.

    • @tstfl1618
      @tstfl1618 4 роки тому

      @@CrescentKao That's interesting, but I still don't understand how the number of reviews would be different from the sales. Surely more sales=more reviews?

      It depends on the niche. For example, if it a new product then you'd expect all the listing to be new. You'd have to use your best judgement.

I am confused now. for example AMZ: 171, JS: 660, SellerLabs: 1041, Helium 475 :/ i tried 5, 6 different niches and AMZ is showing always very very low amount, there was one product in Home&Kitchen, AMZ showed 1500 whereas JS showed 6700 :-/ I don't know I am now hesitant to buy AMZ but its on offer now.

ALSO when i tried to cancel my subscription i had to email them to do it and was met with more emails and questions as to why and reasons why i should stay with them. 4 emails later I am still telling them I want a refund but havent gotten one yet. Unreal. Their customer support seems like it may not be American so they are not easy to work with. Loading products when scrolling through is slow and found myself waiting for them to load every 10 products or so.. when he claims "seconds = minutes" and to use all these tricks to save time it doesnt make sense to use this. Im not a professional seller and am trying to learn like everyone else so take my word or dont but thats my opinion.
