  • Amanda was diagnosed with Wilson disease less than five years ago, and like many patients, was advised to follow a low copper diet along with her chelation therapy. She is especially sensitive to the effects dietary copper has on the severity of her neurological symptoms. As a result, she's been an advocate for finding and sharing information and tools that will help other WD patients on their journey. While every patient is different and needs to consult with their doctors, understanding how to determine copper content in foods can be very helpful.
