- Sandipani was born in London and attended the Bhaktivedanta Manor Gurukula in his early years. After graduating from Information Technology at university, he joined the world traveling Harinam Ruci team and started focusing on sharing and spreading Krishna Consciousness & Bhakti Yoga.

Srila Prabhupada is 100% available in his vani and vapu forms 24/7. In a letter dated Dec. 14, 1972, Srila Prabhupada wrote, “Next you ask if I am present in my picture and form? Yes. In form as well as in teachings.” And on Sept. 4, 1972, he wrote, “There is no difference between me and my picture”.
This is definitely one of my favourites! Such an intelligent, knowledgeable, wise, humble and articulate devotee with a brilliantly balanced perspective. Thank you very much Namarasa prabhu for your continued service.

As a Russian I can tell that Krishna consciousness is spreading fast and vast in Russian speaking countries because there are a lot of devotees preaching to the crowds indirectly (without first saying Krishna). Most of the ppl became devotees through those lectures where they hear about karmic laws, modes of Nature, Satvic life styles, why 4 principals are important etc. And people accept that and go deeper. (my story as well). Cause not so many ppl are ready for the direct preaching.
And Russian language is also very close to Sanskrit :)

Sandipani Muni Krishna Prabhu is a lovely devotee.
I am a little worried about the apparent value judgment in the subtitle - indicating that he is a “rare success story” for a Gurukula graduate.
What criteria is being employed to judge success? And over what time period?
While it’s true that many have experienced adverse childhood experiences that have left them wrestling with issues. But that doesn’t mean that they haven’t made successes of their lives.
Many are doing a great job raising families of their own in a loving manner. Many have carved out productive livelihoods. Many retain a lifelong connection to Krishna and kirtan.
Even the oldest kulis are now in their 50s. Most are younger. Success needs to be assessed based on life outcomes over the long term.
The inference in the title is that most have failed. I feel that such a value judgement contributes to a dismissive and even hostile environment. Let’s not lay that kind of rhetoric on gurukulis.
Even those converts who joined as adults and lived in asramas for a while have to be viewed as relative successes even if they don’t tick every box against some ideal.
Perhaps the ultimate measure of what kind of people we have become - how successful we are - is best assessed by the character of the children we raise.
Let’s be careful not to judge too early.

That has shared beliefs. Most people stay in their bubble and many who leave to try other things come back for the reasons listed. Life is very challenging and unpredictable so we all try to find security in our belief systems and rarely question them. Or if we do it’s with an underlying sense that we know we are right and have the best path or religion .
Maybe you should wait for the episode to aire before you make all kinds of speculations 🙏🏽

P.S. Is Tribuvanath prabhu is the same devotee from that famous reincarnation story, where best friend of him died in a car crash, but this life he is in a mataji's body remembers his previous life, his attachment to kirtan and Tribuvanath prabhu? Cause I heard that name from that amazing story!

❤ no it is true when they touch the book they do get benefit, don't dismiss this. People have touched a book and then changed their mind to actually want the book and give a donation. I have experienced this personally. Atheist took books just by touching it and don't underestimate the power of touching the book.
