Beg to differ, yes we'll pay for our wrong doings when we return to earth. The after world is a place where we receive guidance. My Guru, Paramahansa Yogananda has said that the soul is a spark of that Divine. The divine cannot be punishing itself. The soul cannot be destroyed since it is a part of God. When on earth it identifies itself with the physical. Forgets it's true nature of godliness. This is God's play of Maya.

Nobody really knows what happens upon death but once I had the experience of being pulled out of this body at a dentists office visit when I was given nitrous oxide. I remember clearly that pain was so excruciating and extremely disorienting as if some immense force was trying to rip me out yet I couldn’t tell which part of the body was hurting! I heard my own voice directing me to utter the Name of God., and this brought me back to consciousness. This happened many years ago but the experience is unforgettable.
Same happened with me when I went to dentist for RCt
It's all because of intense trauma which cannot be processed by brain
Soul is never penalised for what we do here it is unaffected and unharmed by the doings of this world, whatever our karma being good or bad is accounted and balanced in lives that we spent here and not post death

With due respect to the knowledge and in reverence, Truth can be harsh at times and be reserved. Perhaps, one can witness this in daily life, in the media. Mind is in constant battle with the 6 evil tendencies (Kama, Kroda, Lobha, Moha, Mada, Mathsarya) against the 5 human values (Sathya, Dharma, Shanti, Prema, Ahimsa) like Kurukshetra war. My question here is regarding plants n flowers. Guruji says that consuming plants in our diet is actually killing it. Then we are also told that to please the Gods during special prayers, we need to offer flowers. So we are adding to our sins by doing so? Enlighten me

Great episode and great knowledge...however the adding of 'A' at the end of every Sanskrit word is a little irritating. That is the western way or the British way bcoz they didn't understand our language. We should get out of the colonised mindset and embrace our language.
In Sanskrit, the words ended with the "-a". It's just that in modern Hindi, the implicit schwa (the -a sound) has been deleted at the end of words. In Sanskrit, people say Rāma, in Hindi Rām. It's not related to the British or the West, it's just how languages and pronunciations evolve over time. Languages like Bengali retain some of the medial schwas while Hindi has deleted them (रचना/রচনা Sanskrit: rachanā, Hindi: rachnā, Bengali: rôchona).
It may be a work of fiction and creative imagination and best guesses. How can anyone define right and wrong? What is the threshold? A soldier killing soldier of another country is right or wrong? Some may have good intentions but causes harm to others. In thay case, how do you judge? And who will judge all these? Is it an algorithm which is hard coded with parameters or sofr coded to adapt to everyday changes in culture? Why promote pesudo scienc in a young aspiring country like India? How is it different from a madarasa education?

The soul is a purest form of the supreme and earns karma via this body. It cannot go via some river or predators eating as it’s ethereal. Those are just metaphors to explain that if one earns good deeds I.e. sanskars via good karma…it will reap benefits within this life or next one and vice versa. A lot that is told and made to understand to us humans via our scriptures is metaphorical and only great souls can explain this to us. Mention of Swami paramhansa views are absolutely right and ranveer himself follows his school. So guys, even while consuming knowledge by the great Prabhu ji here, we must understand the underlying truth. Karma is the answer…and it’s just not what we do but also what we think. Every thought is a vibration that becomes our karma.

It's difficult and scary for me to believe also that there is terrible physical punishment in the afterlife. But most religions talk about this. I hope it isn't like that. This issue has been bothering me recently, and suddenly video about Garuda Purana comes up.
Death isn’t painful ! When you die and the soul leaving the body you’d have flashbacks of your core memories and you’d be gone out of the body in few seconds and wouldn’t remember that what you were before

There wasn't concept of hell in sanatan I guess. It came into shape of hell n heaven much later. Our hell n heaven all are karma. For 1 it can be hell and for some it's heaven despite being on same realm, same time and same space!
Death should be explained in the pretext of vedanta which indicates towards pure conciousness and not body. Adwyata philosophy should be propagated.puranas are only stories to explain a fact.

All I know is that a series of tests MRI scans CT scans and psychologists got into scrim and later confirmed that my vision was very similar to what clinically dead people have seen. Next I get to see the whole team of Doctors and nurses having their pics clicked with me while.i was in ICU. I contracted a rare superbug called NDM1.

I was thinknig the same thing. I really hope that a loving God doesn't punish people, and if He does, that it be the same thing that you did to another - eg. if you kill, you get killed, if you steal, you get stolen from. Something like that, so you can feel what your sin did to others. But not immense torture.

Concept of heaven and hell, good deeds bad deeds and concepts regarding your life after death depending upon your deeds on earth, these all concepts are taken from Islam, in islam these concepts are deeply explained as described by prophets (messenger of the unique Lord of the whole universe) so i recommend just to get new concepts i recommend study about different religions.
Garuda puran speaks about a river that has mucus pus blood bones etc where is this river. All the ingredients in that river is found only in this human body

Why you keep inviting ISKCON people? invite other Gaudiya Vaishnavas from traditional Gaudiya societies, like Dr. Satyanarayana Dasa , a scholar founder of Jiva Institute. Iskcon wallas do not understand siddhanta in its proper sense, get scholars from others
