Thinking of getting one of these TH as a daily over a used wrangler. It’s better mpg, good sized and honestly a better daily. The styling is growing on me. I’m just worried about reliability.
They are sweet indeed, I had one for two years. Reliability was mixed, the remote power-latch lift f’d up since the first day I had it. It was too heavy to corner well and was a slug. Fit and finish were incredible. The radio was tech heavy but gutless. New speakers and a Alpine audio powered sub did not help. I like bottom end but the crazy Cherokee factory deck attenuated low frequency 125hz. I fart deeper
I'm happy with this vehicle! Our family owns one and it has been good for the baby, myself, my wife and her two boys! For myself, I find the vehical has amazing grip to the road! Engine has plenty of power! Parts are not light weight making the vehical more fun to work on the metal because you can be assured your time is actually going towards somthing of quality and not just some garbage metal! Unrelated to that, awesome review! Seriously good vehical as I was worried about buying somthing in mind that would perform like our wrangler that is from 2000! I will be honest! I updated all the electronics on our wrangler to what our trail hawk has and newer vehicals for 2021 and the 2000 wrangler has a better feel to the suspension than the trail hawk! This comes as no surprise to me!!! Might not to you also. I'm guessing because of what you where saying with the heavy towing of 4'500 that might be the case because the suspension is more sturdy for towing! Both awesome vehicles! This is more of a family long trip type vehical! This vehical did not disappoint!
While these are great vehicles ive had my Trailhawk since 2016 there's one major glaring issue with these jeeps aside from the transmission and that is maintenance costs. The balljoints ended up costing over 1600 dollars and i was just informed the axle shafts for these are very expensive too. Its a great vehicle but once something goes wrong and warranty is off you are basically blindsided if you thought it would cost the same as other SUVs to repair...
Hi there I am JP from Miami Florida I've got a question about this trailhawk I heard they had problems with transmission was that only in 2014 when they came out or still having problems in 15 and 16 can you get back to me please by the way nice video very professional thank you
Well i didn't know if you meant MSRP, which you are not supposed to pay, at all. i scored my loaded 15 Cherokee trailhawk for 29k. so that's unfortunate for you, incapable buyer.
Ive seen hundreds of equipped cherokees. the MOST expensive was 39. and that was literally every single option possible. And no, mine wasnt fully loaded, but it was a trailhawk with about half the possible options,8.4, nav, v6, painted wheels, decal shit like that
This thing would make it out of my backyard. As far as the transmission goes F.ix I.t A.gain T.ony Some things just don't change. Fiat was shit back in the 70's and 80's and got ran out of USA but now that they own Chrysler we can't get rid of them.
Seriously, how much is FCA paying you for this review? Could it be any more biased? Head room in the back seat? You said it at the same moment your head very nearly made contact with the roof. Add the panoramic sunroof option and you'll lose another 1.5" from there. And the cargo space? Virtually every other serious review made reference to the very limited rear cargo space compared to vehicles in its class. Seriously, if I wanted a gushing review from a fan, I'd ask a 6 year old what they think of an "off-roader." I watch serious reviews to decide whether or not to actually spend $40k on a vehicle. This is far from a serious, objective review.
Those squinty headlights look ugly to me. I'll never buy a vehicle with those squinty eyes. and I wasn't impressed with the interior room in the Cherokee from 2015, it feels like your'e crammed in there like a Taurus from the same year...
POS.... bought a new one 2018 and it can't cross a mild stream, which any tahoe, suburban, p/u, or anything can. My jeep was totaled trying, pretty city boy never off road vehicle, trust me don't waste your money, get anything else......
I have driven my trailhawk through 30 inches of water (more than it MOPAR says it’s allowed) and it’s been amazing. Have also rock crawled up steep hills while almost flipping but luckily never did. You can’t call it a piece of shit for two reasons; 1 - your name is Karen and nobody will take your negativity seriously and 2- you can drive a lifted top of the line wrangler on 37inch tires and not make it through a stream because it’s all about driver skill and clearly you suck at off roading. It takes practice so I don’t mean any offence

Just bought a 2015 trailhawk. Great fun.
How is the reliability after 3 years? Thanks!
plus 1 how did you go with reliability?
josh jouault I kept the car for 2 years and had no issues. Sold it for a Abarth 124 after that because i missed speed.
That real world testing I do like that Cherokee for some offroading thanks !!!!!!!!!

+Juan Paulo apparently all V6 models are free os issues. However, they finally fixed the issue this year so there should not be any problems.
+Juan Paulo Simple software update solved the issue.
wrong pricing. FUlly equipped this jeep is over 40k. Mine was 42
+Big Jaydoggy good lord i sure hope you didn't pay that
+ToAstYNaChO my comment just said I did. Duh

I live on Long Island New York so I'm sure it's probably more expensive here. I also doubt yours was fully loaded bullshitter.
