Just curious but why would someone want to buy the M550i when they can just go for the M5? Is the price difference big?

Having driven both the M5 is pretty overkill. The M550 feels a little more posh and understated but still absolutely pulls like a freight train

@@TedwardDrives I have a 2019 M550 and I looked at the M5. On a lease the M5 is $800 more per month for same equipment. If you want more power from the M550 Dinan has a chip good for 595hp for $1700...haven't done that yet...has more than enough stock!
