Hey there UA-cam, wlecome back to another comic bookk video. This is the channel where we sit down and cover different comic book stories from different comic book companies. This time, we are going to jump back over to Marvel Comics and do a full story video. A full story video is when Isit down and take a bunch of videos that tell one over arching storyline and combine them together into one big video.
Today that would be X-Factor, well the early days of the team and what it was like for them when they first came together as a a team in the world of Marvel Comics. Also it was a way to bring back some old characters in comics like Jean Grey.

I was reading Marvel Comics religiously back in the 80s during this storyline..& i LOVED how it crossed over from The Avengers.. the Fantastic Four..& the X Factor debut.
Also the art in ALL those books was EXCELLENT as well...John Byrne & John Buscema were at the TOP of their form!
IMO this was one of the BEST Marvel Comics eras.

As a NY resident, The Avengers &FF found Jean's cocoon in Jamaica Bay, Queens NY. Which is next to 2 airports, LaGuardia & JFK

Comes were so good back then. Bought/read this story on release. It was a big deal at the time. If this story was done in moden times it would be 12 issues (premium price) with 24 cross overs. Not the whole story even, they would decompress X Factor #1 into a year long story.😅

"human emotions turned her into Dark Phoenix..." Oh I guess that The Hellfire Club had nothing to do with that, right? Like The White Queen and Mastermind messing with her mind had nothing to do with unleashing The Dark Phoenix, right? Why do these people always forget to add the little details... like how S'ym hard core manipulated Madelyne into making a deal with him when she thought it was just a dream... And Scott's a tool...

Bringing Jean Grey back was a fundamentally bad idea that cemented mainstream superhero comics as properties to be exploited -- any story could be retconned and rehashed to death (anyone reading this probably doesn't need examples). Otherwise these early X-Factor issues don't have any serious problems.
