There are many good people with celebrity status. Dave is among the creme de la creme. ...and I'm not talking about mere coffee creamer. All jokes aside... His sincere demeanor. His approachability. His unassuming humility. Dave has never lost his genuine appreciation for how fortunate he is, and he treats lesser people with respect and compassion. I adore him. We are born same year and I just feel like he is the most down-to-earth fellow. Must have been a hell of a thing to go from being hidden behind the drum kit, to lead singer and guitarist. And he's just fantastic. There is nothing average about Dave.
