    Hello, good work on this mod. How quite is the printer compared with how it was with Igus bearings? I'm working on upgrading to an AM8 frame, but I'm also considering going to linear rails for Y.

    • @RobertsKristins

      It's a little louder but given the stability it's trifle.

    Could you give an indication to how much of a difference this upgrade made? And in what way? Is it a lot quieter? Does the improvement in quality warrant the cost and effort of upgrading?
    Also another question: I notice you have the plastic articulating chain thing to hold your wires, do these make a noise when it moves? I’m considering printing my own but I don’t want to make the whole process more noisy.

      @@RobertsKristins I see one. Once you get the 3d printer you should not buy anything from plastic I guess. Especially such a simple printable thing.

      Rotorix FPV for me more easy buy normal plastic part for permanent operation. Yes for temporary or semple modelling you may print whatever what.

    Do you make this Kit? I want this so bad so I can stop replacing bearings.

    What type of nut and screws did you use to install the rail on the alluminium profile?

    Your description of the parts says 4 rails and 2 carriages. I presume that should be 2 rails and 4 carriages !!

    • @RobertsKristins
      @RobertsKristins  6 років тому +2

      Quality is fantastic. And it made printer construction more stability and stronger (in Y axis).

    Dlaczego aż 4 wózki? Te wózeczki mają sztywność pozwalającą na pracę frezarką cnc w stali bez gięcia.

    The aluminium frame that holds the heat-bed in this video, is not a standard ANET A8 frame, so the adapters you print out will not fit for 99% of people with an ANET A8 !!

      Maybe if you do what any intelligent human would do namely " Turn Down The Volume", it wouldn't be a problem for your ass.
