🧙🏼♂ Hello friends! I hope you enjoy, I always wanted to know how the story of the saga could continue, I finally realized one of my dreams with this video! If you want to comment below what you liked the most, or what you would do differently, help me a lot! Thank you all once again!
Its taken some time to get through the story as it is quite long and i purposely only listened when i could sit and listen without being interrupted That said, THIS WAS AN AMAZING STORY! You really outdid yourself, well done! I love all the tie-ins from previous games, and the epilogue was *chefs kiss* You are a pillar of the Ogre Battle community. Thank you so much for this video
This was a very full and imaginative production. Frankly, I wasn't sure what I was getting into, and only expected to keep watching/listening to get an idea of the overall saga, since I have only played Person of Lordly Caliber and know only little of March of the Black Queen. There was a lot to quickly take in at first, whole continents only mentioned but that I had never before seen. After that, I just... kept wanting to know what would happen next, and here I am at the end of the video. So good job. I think Prince Hemmet was my favorite character. After learning the truth of the Lodis occupation, he courageously sought to save his kingdom. I couldn't understand though, why bother starting off with Cedric and entourage. In isolation, their adventures felt pretty compelling, them being young and hopeful soldiers with varying perspectives and priorities. After their main bit ended, it became clear that the nation they served and believed in would soon commit the very atrocities Cedric in particular sought to oppose. I kept expecting them to look around and wake up to the subjugation they were helping unleash, and maybe begin acts of insubordination, turn on each other, or even straight up desert and run under cover. But nothing like that happened, they dwindled into irrelevance, then disappeared entirely once Faye was introduced. Then they reappear during the invasion, perhaps even more firmly believing Lodis was right in all of this. They each face off against Faye's group as she pursues her mission, and die. Despite harrowing detail of each death, they are merely "filler" (pun intended, how is that spelled?) and accomplish nothing in the end. I suppose they are meant to demonstrate the depth of corruption Lodis's religion wrought on all the varieties of its people. Yet it is rather implausible that these six who knew each other have all achieved roughly equal rank and none are fighting among the main armies, to conveniently confront Faye as she avoids the armies. We don't actually need to know that one backstory of theirs to understand all their personalities. Plus that thing between Gawain and his brother, then Gawain's ignominious death, like lol. I like characters like Lady Elyse better. Perhaps there could have been some significance between Soren and Rowena? Also there was no rationale for the former heroes of the other nations appearing from nowhere on Lodis's side, other than "the Pope's secret weapons". Going to that effort for a psychological trick does not sound like a good use of Lodis's resources. If anything, they had even less impact than Cedric and his former troopmates. I noticed how each encounter involving Faye was relatively similar in scale, suggesting consistent gameplay. Because this story is for a game, right? A dozen or two characters at a time each time leans towards the grid-based Tactics system, with everything else driven by cutscenes. It could be interesting if Cedric's group can be played like that in their backstory and as they participate in the invasion of Xenobia. Start off with Lodis in all ways appearing like good guys, then gradually morph, becoming fully evil when Faye's story begins.
Hello friend! I'm glad you liked it! This video seeks to gather all the information from previous games in the saga to create a worthy ending, so knowing the entire history of the games increases the enjoyment even more. If you want to know the whole saga in detail, I have videos of each of the games here on the channel, the canonical order is: Knight of Lodis, Prince of Zenobia, March of the Black Queen, Person of Lordly Caliber and Let us Cling together (lawful route). As I used all the information that was leaked from Episode 8, I needed to follow the beginning of the story as it was reported. In the leak, the story begins with a knight of Lodis and ends episode 1 with the invasion and domination of Xenobia. I agree with you that they could be better developed, but the biggest cliche in all the games in the series is a character who rebels against the system he participates in and becomes a rebel. To change this cliche, I decided to invert it: a system so indoctrinating that even good people are deluded and end up defending atrocities in the name of what they were taught. In the case of the characters from chapter 1, when they return in chapter 5 it is shown that the pope divulged that ogres were invading his homeland, the same ogres that killed legions in Palatinus and Valeria. People are convinced to fight each other for small disagreements, imagine demons that invade your homeland? But I haven't left out individual inspirations: Roland Wittelsbach strives for fame and money, Rowena Habsburg strives because she has finally found something she's good at in life, Ygraine Montague strives for adventure, Gawain Frostheart strives for envy of his brother, and Cedric Lancaster and Guinevere Sunstrike fight to protect their homeland and their future family. All these motivations and dilemmas can be better developed in cut-scenes, but my video is already 3 and a half hours long without it, imagine if I were to imagine that too? hahaha This could be rephrased so that each death of these captains teaches Faye a lesson in the end, a great idea. All 5 (with the exception of Gawain) are Templar commanders, the highest ranking before High Champion, the leaders of each of the 16 legions. About the champions of each kingdom, Lodis is known for torturing its enemies, so I believed that at the end of the initial invasion, these heroes were captured and taken to Lodis to be taken prisoner, since they represented a real danger to the empire (in Person of Lordly Caliber, the rebellion was only successful because of their meddling). In Lodis, they would have been tortured but not killed, as they were very powerful, Pope Sardian preferred to hypnotize them with his spells to fight at his side. It is a secret weapon because fighting an old ally (or a brother, a father, a hero, etc) is extremely demoralizing for a troop, which would give Lodis an advantage in case of an invasion of other kingdoms. This could be much better developed in cutscenes during battle, I quickly ran through that to show the possibility. Exactly, this is the possible story of a tactical game in the franchise. Let us cling together is in that style, where single characters actually represent 100 to 200 "warriors" in a battle. Thanks again for the comment, your review was very well done!
Woah so many words! Thanks for telling me the canonical order. I can't reply to all you said, but I have more to say about the young knights. The rebel from within the system trope is a fair point. If it shows up as a central plot device in every game, then it should be bunked to keep things from getting stale. A problem with that is the rebel trope is very compelling for the player. Being the only one who sees through the lies and successfully overcomes the odds makes the player feel powerful, while characters remaining stuck in their mindsets despite evidence the player can see makes the player feel powerless to change anything for the better. I'm not going to say games should never leave their players feeling powerless and uncomfortable about how a story arc ends, but it's important to know when that is happening and not push too far and drive everyone but masochistic players away. I think throwing in a glimmer of hope here can make it feel more relatable without letting go of the powerlessness. Let one of the young Lodis knights be a "free thinker" who's a little less devout. This one rebels and deserts, later meets Faye and joins her group, but when s/he meets the former companions during the invasion, they corner and kill the traitor for joining the heretic allies of the Ogres. One more point to drive home the cause that the knights of Lodis will not abandon. I also thought of allowing the player to choose which knight rebels or none at all. Maybe during the invasion, briefly return player control to the Lodis knights with their mission objective to kill the traitor. But that's getting too convoluted and expensive to implement for a side story. Maybe you're right with the approach you took, but just know the whole affair makes me uncomfortable, if that's what you were aiming for.
The idea is precisely this, to show the weakness of the armies in front of Lodis and the destruction of hope in people in the face of a supposedly divine destiny, in my opinion this makes the hero's triumph in the end more impactful. But I totally agree with you, the chapter 1 group could be much better developed with more twists and dilemmas, it would make the story even more interesting, good job!
You know I was thinking that an interesting bit for the Ashmedai section at the end could be him appearing as Soren during the test. Both tempting one's desire to live an easy life (or perhaps an escape from responsibility and guilt) as well as one's desire for power. The way I envisoned it could be that Ashmedai would show her a life where she stayed with Soren (in addition to the offer of power) to guilt trip her. I dunno, just thought it could be neat.
@@WarrenReportThanks! Though you're far more talented than I am since you made all of this! I also thought that a way to twist the knife (pun intended) would be for when Faye attacks Ashmedai (in this version disguised as Soren) for Ashmedai to ham it up and reanact his death just to mess with her. Kinda like Lanselot's "You killed her" speech if you kill Catiua on the map right before you recruit her.
3 and a half hours of epic story telling, mind blowing plot twists, and dramatic battles A brilliant and superb epilogue to the Ogre Battle Saga and a pavement to the new beginning of Ivalice Saga Truly immaculate video and hopefully SQEX gives us the long awaited 8th episode of Ogre Battle. BTW, All Ogre Battles games are known for their multiple endings. I am aware that this video encompasses the "canon" ending but I am interested to see potential diverse endings. Take care Star Seer Warren
Glad you liked it buddy! I put all my heart into this project, so that every Ogre Battle fan (including myself) would be pleased as a worthy conclusion to the saga while also being an interesting story individually, thanks for watching the whole video!
An ambitious project done very well! I do love the art especially! Some of my thoughts: It would be fun to play as an oracle/elementalist that could be a more support main character. With the Halls of the Dead, wouldn't the Valerians at least have some relic weapons as well? I do love the scope of the full continental war, but I think it might just be too much for one game. As I kept watching, I feel like it might even be 3-4 (connected) games of narrative in here. All in all, a great thought project and it makes me yearn for more Ogre Battle, whether remakes or originals!
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! It was so much fun creating this video I created Faye to be a weak character for physical combat precisely to exploit this mechanic. I wanted something in the style of Joan of Arc, where her words are her greatest strength on the battlefield, in addition to her faith and devotion. As far as anyone knows, those who enter the Palace of the Dead do not return...Denam must have been one of the only ones who accomplished this feat, and he probably wasn't farming in search of relics, if we look at history realistically. So rare relics would not be plentiful, possibly reserved for elite warriors. Lodis is known for his quests in search of relics around the world, in addition, ALL his warriors had their weapons with them imbued for the invasions of chapter 1. I agree with you, the war chapter in Lodis has so many plot twists and character interactions that it would need to be better developed with more time. Cut-scenes would do for that, but my project was already 3 and a half hours long, if I were to create dialogues for each encounter we would have 20 hours of video hahaha Better leave that kind of thing to the master Yasumi Matsuno Your comment was really good, thanks for watching!
Hi! I have a video where I showed the arts in more detail, it follows: ua-cam.com/video/VD2psSoAIGA/v-deo.html I can send you the arts you want, send me an email at: therealwarrenreport@gmail.com
@@WarrenReport Ah dang. Thanks :( There is supposedly a map as someone posted a mash up and said they only used official maps (Ogre Web Book). I'm trudging through Lodis and Zenobia just to see if ANYTHING shows up.
@@Johnny_Shields there is this one: geekluminati.wordpress.com/2013/09/14/world-map-3-0/ There are information about the places, but I dont recall an oficial map from Lodis... I made my own on the " Hidden Mythology of Ogre Battle" video here on the channel
What’s up warren report. I wanted to know why Faye crestmont didn’t meet any bolmakans I would have liked to see some artwork of them too a nildahme prince needs to escape Lodis empire to Zenobia in hope of rebuilding their future kingdom. No final fantasy tactics isn’t better than ogre battle ✌🏾
They are in the story, they are just not mentioned directly. At the end of OB64, with the unification of Palatinus, Vad Orok Zlenka who was their supposed leader became subordinate to the King of Palatinus. With Magus taking command of the continent, it is understood that the Bolmukans became subordinate to him as well. Regarding some prince of this race, this was already the case with Anddoras Gaffryn in Reborn, unfortunately he was killed in the game. In any case, some of the Lodis legion leaders in my story are Bolmukans, such as Catherine Courtenay and Zalazar Blackthorn.
thats was pretty interesting story, too bad we probably will never get a game to match such story, since Square Enix only seems to be interested in making remakes/remasters of old IPs and rather make new IPs and crank more FF. there a few things i could nitpick here and there, but the only thing that really i didn't liked was the ending, making the Ogre Battle world become the FF tactics word to be specific, i know that they were created by the same guy, but i don't think that everything needs to connect back together, there is too much "shared universes" since it became a trend with the MCU. Anyway, great video , glad to see someone making content to a relatively obscure series such as the ogre games.
Thank you friend! Combining the ending with FFT makes sense, since the zodiac stones in FFT are the same as in Ogre Battle...besides, if there's one thing I hate, it's incomplete things hehehe I'm sure that many parts could be better written in this episode (after all, I'm not a genius like Yasumi Matsuno, just a big fan of the saga) but if it served to entertain then the mission was accomplished! Hehehe
@@WarrenReport well, only recently i played FFT and im not very versed into the lore of FFT(or FF in general) i thought that zodiac stones were just a common trope in japanese and chinese stories. My thought process was just to have the possibility of having someone else pick up the franchise and continue it, but i can understand how you feel about being it incomplete. Hey, you did good work under your circumstances, writing an intricate story would've been an insane amount of work, and even the best stories have problems with them, though rest assure i was very entertained 👍
@@WarrenReport She could be the one who jumps in the room and reveals that Tartaros is Faye's father, and she's good on espionage and stuff, she could get the info.
Because this video is so long, I'm going to take my time to react chapter by chapter. But that first chapter alone got me misty-eyed. I know the say "writers kill their favorites" or something like that, but ouch! Anyway, I'll have more to talk about in this thread when I see the rest.
Chapter Two was short, but I liked it. There's a slight glimmer of hope and it seems the first chapter was setting up a decoy protagonist, maybe? Or is this going to be an ensemble cast? I have to pause the video here as my eyes are sticking together, but I like the idea of the divine taking a more direct hand in helping forge a hero, since usually things like these are usually reserved for the villains.
Hello Hello friend! Fantastic, I'm waiting for your review! The video ended up getting pretty big precisely because I needed to explain some things to make sense the way I would like. After all, every Ogre Battle fan would like a worthy new chapter in the saga
@@WarrenReport Well, it's kind of hard for me to watch a video that's three hours long, even a good one, but especially one that requires paying attention and using my imagination. But so far, I love not only how detailed this is, but how true you are sticking to the moral questions the series makes a player answer. I will admit none of my ideas ever came to this level or direction. Chapter Three. I'm loving the Winged Twins. The only sad thing about using this summary format is you have to advance the plot, because I could not only imagine them having gameplay features (can you imagine combo attacks the way Ogre Battle 64 tried to start implementing?), but their personalities as well. I'm surprised the young King accepted the agreement so quickly. Then again, this might be a setup for a clash between the "good son" and the "bad son." Soren...you deserved this L, man. For an hour I've been listening to him complain and even if he's right (both the heavens and the Abyss form contracts with mortals), he's always been a coward. "March on!"
Chapter Four: I'm glad Versalia's still alive. I was worried she would have ended up dying, too. I'm also glad we're getting an explanation of Lodis' motives beyond being an expansionist theocratic empire. This does put into perspective what they are doing in other games. I am AMAZED as how you introduce the Abyss here. So far it had been an understandable question as to whether or not Faye was doing the right thing. Ah, so even the characters get a clear answer that doubt is bad, or else people will get consumed with the Infernal Aura when you're in "god mode." With great power comes an even greater responsibility. Of course, this attribute could also be weaponized by the enemy, especially when it seem they have another champion. I can definitely forsee Morgana being That One Boss who would make players throw their controllers in anger upon seeing the Game Over screen for the seventeenth time in a row.
Chapter Five There's so much going on here this section deserves its own video. - So the group encounters a "Roland." Wait a minute...that name was at the beginning of this video. I had to rewind the video to be sure. YEP! - FINALLY SWEET WERETIGER ACTION! I was worried that this element of the series was lost, especially since it went to a Tactics Route (which eliminated the Day/Night mechanics of Ogre Battle). We need more werewolves, weretigers, and vampires. -There's gotta be a path where Cedric is saved! I was really hoping he'd see the error of his ways. Noooo... - Finally, Lancelot both "gets it" (as in "realizing despite his scheming as a ways of never being controlled is in the end a puppet") and "gets it" (as in "dies"). Bonus points for having him literally cut ties to his past before doing so. He deserved it! - You brought it full circle with Rashidi. I sincerely didn't expect that. What a gut punch that not only was the King's brother killed and replaced but that he grew up with the most evil mortal ever....a man who out-evils the series overarching villains in his reveal scene.
Too bad most of the staff is retired, if ever continúe this franchise, que Hope the new blood can hadle It... And i wanna my characters clases not gender locked
I'm glad you liked it! I'm very proud of this project, I'm not very creative but I think every Ogre Battle fan would be satisfied with the ending of the story this way!
95% of the people died in the end with the attack of the ogres. I left it open on purpose for everyone to imagine who died or didn't. Warren stayed alive because he's the one telling the story.
@@WarrenReport Well, the look of the Lodisian Legion High Champions, Saldian's sermon to "strike down the heretics" in the name of a powerful saint, a dreadful, unassailable force crushing the world...Chapter 1 feels extremely like a Warhammer story, and arguably would be a good basis for a new Ogre Battle/Tactics Ogre game on its own. One moment you would be crushing other armies mercilessly for being "heretical" and defying the will of Filharrh, the next you would witness the dreadful consequences of your actions and wonder if you were truly right.
Oh, I see. I don't know Warhammer so I wouldn't know the parallel, thanks for explaining! The attack on Xenobia to impose religion and the return of St. Lodis was something that was already set in the leak of episode 8, it was a lot of fun to complete the gaps in this story. Hope you enjoyed!
Wait Everybody like Destin and so on would all be defeated that easily? Magnus would fall this easily too? He would just rush in like a chicken without its head and get ambush and be defeated in a single battle why would he rush in? So many games building up all those characters and their stories, to rebuild countries take it back from evil and preparing to stop the Lodis tyranny and all this, would be for nothing since the Lodis would just EASILY without any important loses take over all of them at the sametime? lol Not gonna lie that sound pretty lame. I mean I know they had divine weapons/relics to destroy other armors/weapons to easily win fights, but that is kind is silly and boring to be honest, I would prefer actual struggle from the Lodis to take over the other countries maybe some loses like 1 or 2 orders leaders here and there dying from the Lodis, it would be just better than all the past heroes getting destroyed with extreme ease like flies, make them lose yes but in a epic badass way in fairs fights not lose to some silly Deus ex machina weapons we never saw before in any other Ogre Battle games so far. But, I would prefer a epic campaign with all the leaders/heroes from all past games together into single game invading Lodis and the whole game is just struggle to even advance into the Lodis land maybe few lesser heroes dies there for some drama and eventually pierce through and winning with the indirect help of god like angels and ancient heroes and maybe even without knowing being help by some less evil underworld demons who has purpose of their own who want to rebel against the current evil gods and eventually they defeat the pope and stop his evil plans, but that is just my opinion. (Edit) The whole divine weapons breaking other weapons is truly silly, it makes the Lodis badass warriors look weak and depend on divine special weapons powers to win fights which sound ridiculous to me, The Lodis orders and so on win fights since they are the elites of the elites powerful warriors with skills and knowledge, but now somehow because their haxx weapons do not work they can no longer win fight and some of them even DIES fighting weaken armies of the other countries? What is going there? This whole story could have been told but with the heroes of the older games involve as they invade Lodis together, it could have been the reincarnation of Rashidi plan all alone to have Lodis invaded by all the other countries, so he could create this Chaos Gate, the whole scene at the beginning where all countries get crush by Lodis was pretty much unnecessary, since even if they were not invaded they all wanted to destroy Lodis to begin with they could have invaded Lodis after 10 years of preparation, the main Heroine involvement could have been different or simply she do not exist and her role is play by someone else. In the end despite everything this video was really well made and I enjoyed watching it even if I did not like some the event (Only the beginning really) thanks for making it Warren.
I understand your criticism, and I quite agree with it, after all I'm not a Yasumi Matsuno type of genius anyway, but try to put yourself in my shoes, will you? -I wanted to do a narrative for a whole new game seriously, and not something that seems badly done by fans to fans like most fanfics out there...as much as I love all the past heroes, I needed new ones faces, a new protagonist, a plausible reason and motive for a new narrative. Also, I needed to follow all the released leaks of Chapter 8, the Xenobia invasion and conquest was among them. It doesn't make sense to me for the empire to attack and dominate only Xenobia, as Valeria and Palatinus would attack since the 3 kingdoms are allies. -I did my best to summarize the story, and even then the video was 3 and a half hours long. If I were to include cut-scenes, dialogues between characters, dialogues in battle, detailing how the battles and defeats of the heroes took place, I would have a 20-hour video... that is work for people more talented than me. -The army of Lodis is significantly more numerous, moreover, in this narrative, they have the surprise attack effect, which is very effective in battle. The fact that they break weapons and armor serves to lower the opponents' morale when they claim to be divine justice and the true god is on their side. Again a surprise effect that would be very effective on the battlefield, even against legendary heroes like Magnus and Destin. -In the case of Magnus and Palatinus in particular, I decided to use what is shown in OB64, a very militarized society and dependent on hierarchies. In that case, if you have opponents who are specialists in sneak attacks, defeating the main commanders would rather destabilize the entire military system, no matter how strong it was (just see what happens when you defeat a leader in OB64, the entire army under that command loses control). A direct confrontation would be the worst strategy for the high champions of Lodis. Magnus advances against them when he sees that they will not make this direct attack and will just continue to weaken the commanders until it becomes impossible for Palatinus to organize. -In my opinion, Lodis always had enough power to subdue all 3 kingdoms by force if they wanted to, but they always tried to use diplomacy and control the rulers of these places like puppets. In the case of the video's narrative, Sardian would be weakened in the face of public opinion since the entire Caliginous Order was defeated in Palatinus, and almost all the Dark Knights were defeated in Valeria. In addition to the justification of the savior's rebirth, what motivated the simultaneous attack was revenge. -Even if Lodis imposed tyranny on Valeria and Palatinus, I don't think they would invade the empire as revenge. In my opinion, these kingdoms would choose to live in peace after the wars of chapter 6 and 7. We, the players, want revenge on Lodis... and also Hobyrim and Ozma, but only against Balxephon and Tartaros. Anyway, thanks for pointing out the inconsistencies, it's always interesting to hear the opinion of the friends of the Ogre Battle clan!
@@WarrenReport The video was really good overall a lot of effort obviously went into it, but yeah the beginning kind of triggered the fan boy in me sorry about that. lol Otherwise I watched and liked the rest of it even if 95% of people dying at the end kind of sucks but a REAL Ogre Battle isn't a joke so it make sense. One thing that confused me after I watched the video is how old if Aeneas Gallant? This is 10 years after the countries were invaded but didn't Magnus got a son after he became a king? The only way I could see Aeneas Gallant being that old is if Magnus had a kid somehow before Ogre Battle 64 even started or very early in the game, unless I'm missing something here? Otherwise I always thought Leia was the mother, one of my favorite theories.
I didn't think about it... but in this game I figured Aeneas would be around 15... so I believe that to make sense it would end PoLC, 1 year later we would have the invasion of the barbarians along with the birth of Aeneas, 5 years later the invasion of Lodis in Palatinus and 10 years later the story for this game
Yes! If you want to know the mythology of the Ogre Battle saga, I recommend this video here, it has everything explained in detail: ua-cam.com/video/NVdT5OU1iMY/v-deo.html
It is mentioned throughout the games an eastern island existing in the world of Ogre Battle. Called Xipang, it's the origin of the samurai class and the katanas that ninjas use in the games, so I used this image to represent this land.

As I used all the information that was leaked from Episode 8, I needed to follow the beginning of the story as it was reported. In the leak, the story begins with a knight of Lodis and ends episode 1 with the invasion and domination of Xenobia.

Damn, this is a great idea! I knew someone with talent would know how to improve this particular scene, really really good!
@@vagrant2863 You improved this scene 200%, I'm ashamed (pun intended) I didn't think of that during script writing
@@WarrenReport No problem! I'm always glad to help.
3 and a half hours of epic story telling, mind blowing plot twists, and dramatic battles
A brilliant and superb epilogue to the Ogre Battle Saga and a pavement to the new beginning of Ivalice Saga
Truly immaculate video and hopefully SQEX gives us the long awaited 8th episode of Ogre Battle.
Some of my thoughts:
It would be fun to play as an oracle/elementalist that could be a more support main character.
It was so much fun creating this video
I created Faye to be a weak character for physical combat precisely to exploit this mechanic.
Cut-scenes would do for that, but my project was already 3 and a half hours long, if I were to create dialogues for each encounter we would have 20 hours of video hahaha Better leave that kind of thing to the master Yasumi Matsuno
Your comment was really good, thanks for watching!
Dude they should just hire you like jesus
Thank you, you are very kind! I hope you enjoyed the video
You killed ozma and hobyrim way too fast.
Didn’t even name the blind swordman :(
I needed more space on the map, hehehe
Is there a archive of all the art used?
I would love to use some of these portraits for tabletop purposes
Hi! I have a video where I showed the arts in more detail, it follows:

I can send you the arts you want, send me an email at: therealwarrenreport@gmail.com
When did the narrative of the story leak?
Sometime between 1995 and 1999, before the release of the OB 64, Knight of Lodis and Prince of Zenobia games.
Where did you get the Galicia maps at 0:3:00 and 1:47:00? I've been searching forever. Are they canon?
They are not official, I set it up to illustrate the story.. Unfortunately, we still don't have the true picture
@@WarrenReport Ah dang. Thanks :( There is supposedly a map as someone posted a mash up and said they only used official maps (Ogre Web Book). I'm trudging through Lodis and Zenobia just to see if ANYTHING shows up.
@@Johnny_Shields there is this one:

There are information about the places, but I dont recall an oficial map from Lodis...
I made my own on the " Hidden Mythology of Ogre Battle" video here on the channel
Lanse isn't going to escape the consequences of his actions. Especially when they are looking at him!
Indeed
Combining the ending with FFT makes sense, since the zodiac stones in FFT are the same as in Ogre Battle...besides, if there's one thing I hate, it's incomplete things hehehe
I'm sure that many parts could be better written in this episode (after all, I'm not a genius like Yasumi Matsuno, just a big fan of the saga) but if it served to entertain then the mission was accomplished!
If you're happy I'm happy, friend!
Is there a secret quest so that Cybil can survive ? I was so happy to see her and you killed her right away 😢
Maybe... :-)
Then again, this might be a setup for a clash between the "good son" and the "bad son."
Soren...you deserved this L, man. For an hour I've been listening to him complain and even if he's right (both the heavens and the Abyss form contracts with mortals), he's always been a coward.
"March on!"
Chapter Four:
I'm glad Versalia's still alive.
Chapter Five
There's so much going on here this section deserves its own video.
Halfway.. 🎉🎉
Yeah! Go go!
Too bad most of the staff is retired, if ever continúe this franchise, que Hope the new blood can hadle It... And i wanna my characters clases not gender locked
Me too!
You just made me hate Lodis even more with this video ...My congrats for the excellent quality
I'm glad you liked it! I'm very proud of this project, I'm not very creative but I think every Ogre Battle fan would be satisfied with the ending of the story this way!
Did The Magnificent 7 died excluded (Deneb Rove)(Gildas)(Warren) ?
95% of the people died in the end with the attack of the ogres. I left it open on purpose for everyone to imagine who died or didn't. Warren stayed alive because he's the one telling the story.

Tactics Ogre: Warhammer
How?
Did you take this video down and repost it?
Yes, I had a copyright issue on the previous video, but now it is fine
(Edit)
The whole divine weapons breaking other weapons is truly silly, it makes the Lodis badass warriors look weak and depend on divine special weapons powers to win fights which sound ridiculous to me, The Lodis orders and so on win fights since they are the elites of the elites powerful warriors with skills and knowledge, but now somehow because their haxx weapons do not work they can no longer win fight and some of them even DIES fighting weaken armies of the other countries?
I didn't think about it... but in this game I figured Aeneas would be around 15... so I believe that to make sense it would end PoLC, 1 year later we would have the invasion of the barbarians along with the birth of Aeneas, 5 years later the invasion of Lodis in Palatinus and 10 years later the story for this game
there are so many god. lol there is also king of god , god of god. Goat??
