25 most important Spanish verbs in the preterite

In this video you will practice the conjugation of the top 25, most common verbs in the preterite. Many of these are irregular. In this video, you will practice your Spanish pronunciation, Spanish verb conjugation in the preterite tense, and listening skills. You will also see examples in sentences.

Hi there, great question. When I started the channel, it was for my students of elementary Spanish. Since we live close to Mexico, we use Ustedes and that’s what they learned in my class. After the videos started being watched by more learners, some of the viewers suggested to add Vosotros, which I did. So now, any time I create a new video I include Vosotros. I will take a look at the video you be watched and add it to my list to re-make including Vosotros. Thanks again!!

I was told that Regresar is used in Puerto Vallarta instead of Volver .

Hello Don, That’s great. Regresar is a regular verb. So you don’t have to worry about stem-changing. In many places they are used interchangeably. In other places one is favored over the other. Kudos to you! The fact you know which one to use tells me you are using your Spanish with the locals.
