Paul doesn’t say it here. But I think he would agree with this. Don’t let not being sure of the preposition to use stop you from speaking. One of the most powerful learning strategies is being willing to learn from making mistakes. I have had a lot of success in life, but I learned the most from my mistakes and failures. And not trying is the biggest mistake you can make because it often teaches you too late. You need instant feedback and real time real life experiences. Get in the game. Talk to as many people in Spanish as you can. Try not to pass up an opportunity to have even a ten second conversation. The more you try to speak, the easier speaking gets. That is an undeniable fact of learning any language. And don’t let some knucklehead making a negative comment on your attempt to use your Spanish affect you. Ignore those losers. No te rindas y buena suerte.
Hi Paul. Buenos dias. I’m still following your lessons. I keep trying to learn spanish. Thanks for this lesson. Rick from Salt Lake. I’ll be 69 July 27th. I play drums but now I’m trying to play guitar and sing plus learn spanish.
Guau, qué video fantástico! Antes me equivoco mucho con perder de las prepociones. Intenté googlear una lista através del internet, pero era tan larga y confusa que me di por vencida! La manera en la que los pusiste en grupos me ayudó mucho. Vi el video através de dos días. Gracias
Paul, a great list of 50 verbs for everyone to write down and learn, whether or not we retain the correct prepositions. I think chunking verbs to learn en masse seems like insurmountable challenge sometimes and I'm just learning them from songs at the moment, but finding videos with a bunch of verbs from a teacher I find really useful.
Really useful video again. Super helpful. Prepositions are widely used in Spanish and learning how to use them would be so much harder without you. Thank you
I have to stop being lazy one thing i never did since i started learning almost 3 years ago is reading books, only through youtube and music and talking to my spanish speaking friends, time to pick up a book
Sorry I commented three times while watching this, thank you thank you thank you I will be revisiting this video over again, these are the types of videos that boost my Spanish , mil gracias and keep them coming , early congrats on 150k subs
How did you learn which prepositions go with which verb, which verb can be used with more than one preposition, and how each combination translates in English?
"Estas loca" by itself means "you are crazy" (feminine form). the plural/they would be "estan locas". Se is not used this way with Estar. you can use it to say something is an ongoing process like, "they are going crazy" or "they are losing their minds" could be translated as "Se estan volviendo locas/locos". "Volviendo" meaning "turning/going" in this case.
That's one of the great things about speaking Spanish well enough. You can communicate your lack of tolerance for tardiness in work-related relationships and act accordingly. I've only found a few people who disregarded an established schedule and they "paid" for it with a loss of a job. "Tuve muy claro que no tolero las tardanzas"
“Insistir en” has three uses so it takes numbers 45, 46, and 47. I had to do a triple take on it to make the connection. This will help me remember it!
Costa Ricans are known for not rolling their Rs. You could make the sound that they make. This video explains it ua-cam.com/video/-cxccHmdNX8/v-deo.htmlsi=vP8k0in7DUX3AcDH&t=21
There is a region in Bolivia where the rr is pronounced a lot like the s in pleasure. It’s the Cochabamba accent. Carlos Sánchez Berzain is a former minister with several videos on UA-cam. Listen to him. His accent is interesting.

I burst into laughter at 10:06😂😂😂
Thank you so much.
You're welcome!
I understand se means oneself so here se means they in general right? And if to say you are crazy in general would it be se Estas loca?
"Estas loca" by itself means "you are crazy" (feminine form). the plural/they would be "estan locas". where in Mexico is the climate is in the 70's year round with no xpats or tourest? thank you sur
Hmmmm, not quite 70s but pretty good and very few expats: Tequisquiapan.
For someone living in Mexico and not liking people to be late, how do you handle the “Mañana” culture?
I still struggle with that.

@@strong60s Wow! I’m impressed, you really have control over your environment, well done!

@@QrooSpanishwow, if you struggle with it still that makes me not feel so bad when I get annoyed with it.
do numbers 45, 46, and 47 make it a total of 48?

Im going to ask a stupid question.
With some of the verbs do you always need the preposition?
With these verbs you do if you plan to follow them with a verb or noun as shown.
When do you use “a” and not?
The video shows verbs that use A.
why it became amenazo should it be amenza
How do you feel being a time guy in Mexico? 😅 Mexican time!
It is something I could never adjust to in my years there.
@@QrooSpanish I imagine! I didn’t realize you left maybe i need to follow more but i watch most of your videos and thank you for that!
Thanks. I just did a video about our move back: ua-cam.com/video/Dor-7y_fr_w/v-deo.html
if an english speaker cannot trill the RR or the R at the beginning of a word, what sound should he make
English R I guess. I can't trill properly yet, but I have got better when I've tried practicing. But the single Spanish R should be achievable?
Costa Ricans are known for not rolling their Rs. You could make the sound that they make. This video explains it ua-cam.com/video/-cxccHmdNX8/v-deo.htmlsi=vP8k0in7DUX3AcDH&t=21

Practice saying the word arrow focusing on obviously how you naturally roll the double "rr's." Practice this ad naseum. May help you...
👊🏻
paul. hay 48 verdad?
Hay 50 en el video.
Juan se casó con María 😊🫶🏻
Why does he not have an accent? I can’t lose my fringe accent
I speak other languages.
A beginner to spanish.
Speaking to fast.
Not enough enunciation.
Thanks anyway.
