Lots of broke thinking in this thread. I thoroughly enjoyed the review. I like your positive, upbeat personality. I was not able to afford a boat like this when I was younger (I’m 72) and these boats were much cheaper back then. Now that I am retired and debt-free I do think this boat is priced very competitively within my budget. I aspire to move to the Gulf Coast and buy a boat like this to enjoy for as long as I have my health. You broke thinkers running your mouths can save your pennies and buy it off me for cheap when I am ready to sell. Then it might be budget friendly for you. Ha ha 28 feet, twin Yamaha 300s with joy stick, twin Garmin screens, three live wells, no sofa in the way in the bow, plenty of seating for a fishing party of six. This is a fishing machine.
Haha i appreciate it. Sounds like you deserve to enjoy a nice boat like this! Some people will just never understand, no matter how much i try to explain, that new boats are not cheap and never will be
You need to change your perspective hoss! $219,000 is NOT budget-friendly. That means if the average home price is $400,000, you think a boat that costs half that much is something most people can afford? Dude...seriously!
@@LivinSalty It's not a question of better deal... it's NOT budget-friendly... that's it... nothing more. It's a very nice boat... for damn near the price of a starter home!
@@G.B.B. budget-friendly just means value-minded. Just because it’s not in YOUR budget doesn’t mean it isn’t budget-friendly to someone looking to spend $300k on a similar boat.
@@joshmatthews3450 That is the single dumbest thing said in the comments so far. A $10 million dollar boat is "budget friendly" to someone as well. It is also "Value Minded" to someone. Budget friendly is a term meant to convey affordability to "everyday" people. Most people can't afford to spend $200,000 on a boat when that is half the average value of a house in the US right now. My point was to tell the OP to adjust his thinking on the term budget friendly.
@@G.B.B. Yes it would be if the $10 million yacht is comparable in features to a $15 million yacht. Get off the internet kid you don’t know anything about anything 😂
Livewell up front on a 28ft cc is no bueno imo. That bait wont last more than 4hrs if that boat is runnin and gunnin for fish in any chop. A 9’9” beam is good but according to Seahunt’s own drawings on the boat, the beam at the bow is quite a bit wider than in the cockpit. It would be interesting to know how much taper they have from front to rear but it looks like at least 10-12” difference between widest point of beam (bow) and cockpit.
So IMO I would not use that live well up front to store baits all day. I would just throw a couple in there from the main wells to fish with up front. When making any significant runs, move them to the back. They told me the 9'9" beam followed throughout the length of the boat. Make sure you are looking at the right boat as this is their newly released this year 28 Gamefish
Thanks so much! Nice choice of boat there. I really wanna make a walkthrough of some pathfinders! Unfortunately we just wrapped up our last show of the year. But if I get an opportunity to see a PF 24 open I’ll be sure to check it out!
Correction, you and the boat market have differing opinions. I don’t pick the prices. I just report what I see relative to all other boat manufacturers in the industry
If you aren’t independently wealthy, you make compromises. Older boat, boat that needs some work that you can do yourself, etc. if you want brand new, latest tech, sexiest lines, expect to pay.
Great video! Love the slow, close up angles in the beginning.
Thank you!! I’m glad someone notices that attention to detail 😄

Loaded with awesome features 🤔
okay, what else would you've liked to see?
Amazing boat.....Awesome review!
Thank you!
Not a bad looking boat... Reminds me of the tidewater 282cc Bluewater Adventure
good job captain
That boat is beautiful, and it's about $225,000 too.
Great video. Opening music ...hurts my ears😢 my dog even howled😂
Keep up the great work! Always enjoy your channel.
Thanks! Just curious, what kind of device did you watch the video on? I've watched that intro a dozen times and the music sounded fine to me
@@LivinSalty the music is fine, don't worry at all!
Too expensive still. 😅. Did you see their Ultra series?
I hear ya, I might’ve seen it but don’t remember tbh

Take a look at the new boat market for this size boat and find something that is a better deal

It’s way out of my price range but that’s a lot of boat for the price. It’s gorgeous..Boat prices are absurd though.
Boat prices are crazy unfortunately. Used can be better but some people are still asking ridiculous covid prices 😔
I agree. 220K (on sale) is ridiculous for a 28' CC.
Would rather spend the money on a Cape Horn. Any day.
Interesting, would love to hear the reasoning

Ps could you expound on the beam statement, I don't understand.
Keep fishing!

You and I obviously have a different opinion on what budget friendly is.

Isn't Sea Hunt a POS? I know it was years ago and since ALL boats are being built cheaper and with less quality now, how good can this be?
I know there was a 27Sea hunt and the 30 sea Hunt game fish is this 28 a all new boat
There is no such thing as a budget friendly boat.
That is true, they're all money pits lol
If you aren’t independently wealthy, you make compromises. Older boat, boat that needs some work that you can do yourself, etc. if you want brand new, latest tech, sexiest lines, expect to pay.
Got that right
My man
At 200 k though...... I wish I had that kind of budget.
Boat prices are getting out of hand..nothing is affordable anymore
How much???
$219k
No wiper?? That's not very good.
True, a windshield wiper would be useful
Nice boat but that’s not budget friendly unless you’re independent wealthy. How about 26-30’ for $99k.
New, that simply does not exist
That size range will have twins, that’s $50k right there just in motors
Wish I could have watched it, the clapping while wearing the mic made me shut it off.
What are you talking about 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@LivinSalty..... He doesn't know.
There’s nothing budget about this boat
Manufacturers are going to go out business
We will see about that lol
How many of these have been sold ?
@@woodyahh2110 No idea, but they are the largest producing boat manufacturer in the US, I think they're doing okay
Budget friendly; you’ve lost your mind pal!
Have you seen new boat prices recently?
Whose budget are we talking about? Lol
Relative to the new boat market 🤷🏻♂️
