As a Post-op women on hormones for 6 years. For breast size and how they form, need to also take into account shoulder width. Typical mens shoulders are alot wider than womens shoulders and so when our breast grow, they tend to grow out instead of in making us to appear smaller cause of how they grow out. Also to achieve better results, it is usually advised to not drink or smoke as that can interfere with the hormones. After 6 years and being in my 40's I get compliments on how well my skin looks and my facial completion from the hormones. Also usually if you are able to transition before the age of 25, you also have a better chance with the way how your bone structure is. 25 years is the magic number on when your bone structure will fuse to what it will be for the rest of your life. For myself, I actually had my hair change color being on hormones. I have gone from a sandy blonde color to a strawberry blonde color.
First off, thank you for the information. I can't speak specifically to bone structure maturity age, but right around 25 is about the time a lot of things in the human body tend to settle into their maximum growth. I've garnered a few compliments as well about my skin from people I know. The softer, less oily skin does have a nice way of cleaning up a look. I can't say my hair has changed color. I wish it would have lightened up to more closely resemble what it was when I was younger. But I like the color it is now.
For me the most extreme changes in body hair was my back. I used to have a very hairy back. 18 months later my back is just about hairless and the few hairs remaining I can't see except to feel them. Next course black hairs on my upper arms, they have gone completely. After that the rest of my body hair has thinned out a little but my legs, thighs, arms and chest/belly hair still remains. I shave my chest hairs during summer and maybes lower legs if wearing shorts but other than that I don't really bother shaving my body. As for facial hair I been trying to get rid of it using IPL machines and mostly failing. At best it has thinned it out a little and slowed down the growth. Currently trying a more expensive machine to see if it will make any difference. Can't afford laser/electrolysis. I shave my face about every 3 to 4 days.
I tried using an at home IPL device for my face at first. I stuck to it religiously for a few months, but nothing changed. The Estrogen has done a minor job of slowing facial hair growth, but the big kicker has been going to get laser hair removal done professionally. You'll notice a lot more improvement, faster. My recommendation would be to save your money. Another trans friend of mine had electrolysis done somewhat recently after a year or so of laser and absolutely swears by it.
One thing to note is breast size and bra cup size isn't always the same thing. I mean I started with a 46B wireless bra(UK sizing) about 2 years ago(I started wearing a bra before I started blockers and HRT). Since then I managed to diet and drop two bra band sizes and now am wearing a 42D. Now you would think that a D cup means I now got big boobs but that is just not the case. A 46B and a 42D bra has the same cup volume. As you drop a bra band size you increase the cup by one letter. By the way I can still comfortable wear both bra sizes, the 46B bras I own still fit nicely, I assume this is because of the elasticity.
Very good points. I'm not the best at deciphering bra sizes, but I'm learning. My references to size in the video are purely that of body fat percentage and potential development of breast tissue as a whole. I won't pretend to be any more knowledgeable than that. Thanks for the input. I'm sure it will help someone, including myself.
I remember the first time I banged my breasts on a screen door, (being lazy and in a rush of course). I saw stars. I’m 20 months on HRT. The changes have been slow, but worth the wait. Thanks for putting out videos on these types of subject matter.
Wait till you peel an acrylic nail back. You'll want to cry immediately and if you wait a few hours, it will hurt just as much. Giggles. Like OMG. Hahaha Love the posting. Thank you. I presently have been on HRT for few decades now. Exercise n dont think your good.
The reason why you're getting colder, is because testosterone keeps people burning more energy all the time. That's why it's also easier to lose weight and have a lower fat percentage when on testosterone. Some trans women try to make use of this, by trying to lose weight before starting their transition. Cheers.
I am comfortable with natural growth. I am a B and that is actually big enough considering my CIS female relatives are much bigger. I have um... bumped, hit, etc. my um... breast a lot over the years. It just happens.
It is definitely something to get used to. Even at my smaller size, they still obviously protrude more than nothing. I'm over the most painful growth part, but they are naturally more sensitive, now, and I still bump into stuff. Definitely a little jealous of your growth. :)
@@mackenzie4976 I think they had a head start. As a teen not even on HRT and not being grossly overweight I um... had something similar to a double puberty. The only thing is the boy to man part did go fully. I mean I could grow facial hair, but I also had breast development occur naturally. From 14 or 15 until I began HRT at 30 something I had roughly A cup. I really should have watched my diet while on HRT. I went from a sized 18 Misses to a size 26W. I still can find clothes that are cute, look work place professional, or sexy even for a now plus size figure, but if I were an 18 or 16 I could still find truly sexy beach wear or club wear.
0:42 I am in total agreement here. Too many complications, And the best done never really seem to look quite right. I'm 49 and transgender, and I am at the moment taking only supplements. Very small if any growth so far. 1:38 i do have sensitivity though.
I have seen some people have wonderful results with implants, but for the sake of natural sensitivity and minimizing complications, I will probably stay all natural. Sensitivity usually means growth. Good luck!
I'm by no means one of the most knowledgeable people, but I try to do some research. Overall, the health risks for someone that takes close care of their physical health and maintains a healthy lifestyle seems relatively quite low. I am also lucky to have a strong family history in terms of health and no preexisting conditions. For me, the positive effects greatly outweigh any potential risks.
Iv suffered from severe fluid retention for 6 years from taking estrogen HRT no one can give me a reason why this keeps happening it's the only drug IV ever had large problems with when I don't take HRT the fluid retention slowly disappears after getting up and down all night going to the bathroom it's just gets so tiring and I feel exhausted by the morning not a great way to live i honestly believe there hasn't been enough research done on HRT estrogen and the interactions it has especially when taken with other medications there only after making heaps of money and don't give a flying fuck about people's health
@SusanWillan interesting. I've actually had water mention myself. But doctors over the decades have told me to eat right n exercise. It was my inner upper thighs as well as my bum n even had hard time fitting in my jeans. Lowered my spironolactone from 100mg to 50, which I think 75mg might be better. But haven't been back to gynecologist yet, but seems to have made a difference in my sizes. My other doctor has noticed I've lost weight as did I loose like 23lbs, in last 2.25 months. But I've been on HRT for 3 decades
Hi MacKenzie. I looked at your Amazon wish list. I want to get you a little something. The ballroom skirt is not shipping eligible to a wish list address. ⛔ The leather belt is cute but, you mentioned a difference in size so I hesitated on that (it may no longer be the right size. Please add some wishes to your list and let me know so I can revisit. Warm wishes to you this holiday season!
I have a good amount of new hair growth on my temple area. I am not bald by any means. I have ALOT of hair and long. My waists and arms are alot slender. I am having electrolosis done on my face and neck. Not too much hair to begin with but a good amount. My cost by someone with 29 years experience is $75. per hour. twice a week. With injectable estrogen to my self weekly my facial hair needs to grow at least a week, so that it can be treated by electrolisis. My breasts are B cup. gain some weight on my breasts, belly, and butt. I love myself more now than ever. I even have ALOT more conversations and frienships with women. I am able to use the ladies restroom. Customers don't even know I am transgender. Honestly, I have never liked being labeled as transgender. I am Just woman. My palms are dry sometimes and I am hot alot, maybe because I am 64 years old. My things downstairs are so small now that I don't require a gaff. Sometimes I do use a gaff, only because I want the ideal version of being woman.
I am noticing more and more bodily pains. My breasts started growing before I noticed the pains, but now I feel a lot of pains in my back torso and shoulders, also I am occasionally noticing it slightly it in my hips
I'm in 40s , still regret about those gym workouts in my early adolescent period. Even cis men possess less bulk than me now around me. Can you suggest something non- hormonal for muscle reduction. Thanks

If you have put a lot of thought and time into this, and have spoken openly about it with a mental health professional I say go for it. In my experience it took a good amount of time for me to truly understand the weight of what I was going to put myself through. But, if you aren't a fan of the changes, a lot of the early stages are reversible by just stopping medication. Again, (and I can't express this enough) talk to a medical professional.
I don't want to give out any potentially damaging advice in terms of how I go about practicing my voice. What I can recommend, though is that you check out the channel @TransVoiceLessons here on UA-cam. Z is extremely knowledgeable on the subject and has a treasure trove of excellent content to go through that can help you along your vocal journey. The best advice I can give is to stay consistent with your(proper) practice. Your voice is a series of working muscles that build on repetition. Best of luck to you.
Not really sure what to tell you there. It's all strongly dependent on the individual. You may be lucky on that front and get a lot of that. I definitely did not fit the bill for this generalized concept and fell vastly below expectations for two years into HRT. Again, YMMV.
I’m shocked your arms are still so manly. I’ve only been in HRT for just one month and all my manly muscles have been replaced with thin skinny and very passable girl arms and shoulders.
Maybe one day depending on the trajectory of this channel. As of now my immediate family is well aware of my transition, but have never seen me fully presenting, and I'm not sure if they are ready for that just yet. I would love to have them on at some point to express their views on the subject.
Unfortunately, taking Estrogen will not affect the voice of someone post male puberty. Any changes made for a more feminine voice must be done through voice training. For transmen taking testosterone, though, they will notice a drop in their voice over time as testosterone causes the vocal folds to thicken and lengthen.
Not sure what trend it is you speak of. Dissemination of knowledge via personal experiences? Or maybe you're referring to my cringy dad-level humor. :D
I just about died when you said "I am aerodynamic".
You are wonderful!
Girl, I completely relate! Especially when it comes to the 'lesson learnt then promptly forgotten and then rinse and repeat' situation! Ouchy!!!!
