What’s completely underrated about this film is the message. Stews confession is the unveiling of what most of us use to mask our daily lives. Fancy clothes, false appearances, compulsive lying… when stew finally admits his crimes to the entire world it’s enough to make us all reflect on how honest we are in our own lives. It’s a masterpiece of a script that can bring a tear to the eye of anyone guilty of the same crimes. Amazing writing and directing.
Colin Farrel seriously should’ve won an ocar for this performance, that shit was real as real, especially that confession scene, it just gets you every time. What an awesome movie
i love this movie , Colin best performance . Cry watching film in cinema i found my recently on ancestry DNA distant cousin was Thomas Farrell . Ironic
All those work for the perfect set and nowadays they would just put up some green screens and build everything on the computer in post-production. I can't really tell if thats a good or bad thing...
I didn't realise Joel Schumacher was.......as old as he was. I imagined he was in his late 20s when he made this film. I was so blinkered on that one. .. But I certainly get it why Robert Carlyle based his looks on Joel 😂. And needless to say - this is one brilliant, brilliant movie!
HE DID THE CONFESSION SCENE IN A ONE PERFECT TAKE? OMG.
COLIN FARRELL IS BRILLIANT ACTOR.
Phone Booth is one of the best movies ive ever saw

right , he wasn't evil, but he was certainly an asshole.
I believe that the events changed stu , and they'll stick, and he'll be better for it!

Nominated at the very least
I just love how Colin can also nail a good new York accent. I loved his voice in this movie. 😊
My favourite psychodelic thriller of childhood 💔
I remember watching it with my sister at my grandmas as a kid and loved it but it’s even better as an adult.
It's amazing. Most of this one take is in the movie. Great actor.
Joel's great rapport with his cast and crew made the film a breezy shoot. Thank you for this great legacy Joel.
Joel was such an underrated director. Falling Down, Lost Boys, A Time to Kill, 8mm, Flatliners etc.
Plus... Batman Forever. He really was the absolute best.
one of my most favorite movies which makes me want to go to NY
Kiefer sutherland and Forest Whitaker together are the best

Keifer Sunderland voice: The Next Ghostface if Roget L Jacksom retires.
One of my favourite films. Colin Farrel is fantastic! Even if he cant quite hide his Irish accent at times
A relic from back when DVD's existed and had 'extras'
Casting Kiefer Sutherland made this film! Colin Farrell was unbelievable!
It's like a rollercoaster ride with a movie life or death worth watching in 2021.
The stand-in guy for Kiefer sounds like he’s about to say “EA Sports…it’s in the game.”

I really like the editing of this making of. Great job!
Classic and brilliant!
Became a fan of him after watching this.

Modern movies lack soul for that reason. No actor can be fully invested with the fake surroundings they have to work in

Lucky fine weather NY during filming that's probably why tight time slot
@Cowboy burger with a very small hat checked & quite right
Didn’t they start in NY then had to move to LA during filming, making them recreate the actual St from NY in LA.
@@wirelessG1000 makes sense like the extra detail 👍
Sucks this isn’t a special feature on the media releases
Happy 20th Anniversary to this great film. It's too bad it got some flack for receiving a delayed release because of the 2002 Sniper Attack.
Why did this get left out of the dvd this just should have been on the dvd.
