    I was pretty horrified when I watched this report from Renascena. Please support them by visiting the link to their full report in the description. Oh and let me know what your thoughts are on this.....

    Quite shocking that some guy from Pakistan is allowed to come here and run this kind of business. There must be a long list of violations. No way it has been inspected.

      As I said in the video, the city has not been very active when it comes to inspections.

      Illegal immigration is 100B+ industry in Europe, millions of people live from it...

      @@thecryptostrategist2433 It's not inspected because it generates profit to the government, more people to work, more people to pay taxes, more people to pay overpriced rents, some stay living in Portugal and eventually will have kids that will work in Portugal, all of this in big quantity. The current government has cut the police capacities to conduct any investigations or arrest people, this government really thinks that immigration is the new crypto, and they are investing hard, i can't blame them as it will work, but in the process, it will destroy the portuguese people, it has been for while, there're millions of Portuguese people that have left the country, take in mind that there are only around 11M portuguese people in Portugal, the government will only take action once it blows in their face because they only care about themselfs.

      Concordo que existe um problema de eficiência no governo nacional e local. Também é necessário tomar medidas nesta questão.

    Portugal is no longer the same! Just like Europe! None of this is accidental, it is intentional and we can confirm this by the measures we see.

    In London you have similar hostels with 20 or 30 people per room

      No doubt. It certainly helps explain why native Britons are a minority there.

    Socialism brought this country to it nees. We real portuguese are done with socialism (PS, PSD, BE, PCP).

    • @thecryptostrategist2433
      @thecryptostrategist2433  2 місяці тому +2

      I completely agree. 50 years of socialism has left Portugal poorer then is should be. When the country joined the EU, it had basically the same economic level as Ireland. Nowadays, let's not even talk about that comparison.

    Revolutions happen when social conditions are improving, not out of abject poverty. When the lawyers start loosing jobs, Watch out! India is a very poor country with a low crime rate, so being poor does not mean that one is neccisarily more prone to commit crimes. These people do contribute to society by their low paid labor. Many industries depend on them.Someone is making a profit out of this situation. If someone is illegal how can they claim benefits? And ultimately are there not many other less visable people exploiting the system for personal gain and harming society at a far greater extent and cost? These people are just visable because they spend a lot of time in Public spaces. So they are easy to target and blame. I'm not justifing the system, because these people are being exploited and others are exploiting the system.The question to ask is how to stop it at the source. Once the river breaks the damn, the only way to stop the flood is to fix the damn. Its no use complaining about the water in your house.

      Illegals will get on benefits in Europe because they are abjectly poor and there are plenty of NGO's arguing for their human rights. What will end up happening is the state footing the bill for them being here, housing them, treating their health conditions, providing food and even deporting them - in the rare cases it happens. Of course we need to stop the flow, but we also need to remove those who are already here. That is my view anyway.

      @@thecryptostrategist2433 Maybe, but they do contribute. Portugal would have a declining population without immigration. Because of low birth rate and the fact that many young people leave to get better paying jobs elsewhere. That brings a whole other set of problems. It seems to me that we are repeating the 20th Century in the 21st. We are seeing the rise of extreme right wing ideology all over the world these days, Mostly because people are desperate and the left has been an abject failure.

    It is sad and pathetic at the same time. This whole migration agenda is like an onion, full of layers. I would only point out that although in fact, poverty may be in many cases the root cause of crime, there are astonishing exceptions. For instants, during the dictatorship of the New State, by Salazar, the vast majority of the portuguese were poor. Really poor. Especialy in the country side. However, the crime rate was not even residual. Culture does play it's roll in this matter. Family ties, moral principles, moral value, sense of integrity passed on through generations is crucial. Just as an example, most of the homes had no tv set. Or phone. A lot of people did not own cars. However, if go into ALL the homes in the so called "social projects" , you will find all kinds of techonological gadgets, LCD's, IPhones, Video games, bluetooth devices, cable tv, internet, etc. So, something is very different nowadays. Same country, not quiet the same people and certainly, not the same behavior. Honestly, I worked, lived and studied in several countries, in Europe, Africa & America. I crossed the time frame between the dictatorship and this. Whatever system it may actually be. I certainly apreciate modern commodities but the price to pay for these, has been rising exponentialy. Not just financialy speaking.Thank you for the video.

      Thanks for the support. Poverty is one element, but of course education and culture matter a great deal as well. I agree that there has been a huge shift in the morality of society compared with the past and the presence of so many newcomers may well have something important to do with that.
