- Fishing a winter time open beach match, One of Tony Kirrage's mini open beach competion.
Unfortunatley my alarm clock didnt go off so I missed the start by an hour, this cost me a chance of winning an envelope, but I enjoyed trying to catch up and achieved a respectable score in the end.
Its my first comp when the Whiting are in , so it was another schoolday learning the rhythm of twin patting

Yeah i need a waterproof clip board. I quite like my chewed phone case though.

Im loving it, but still learning it.
Hundreds of pounds spent on rod and reel....yet pennies to make it all work....must be a better way
Back in the day it would have been wipped on, but then they never had leccie tape then. Joking apart, im using tape because i havent fully decided where i want to put the canon. Or if im even going to keep the canon for casting, electrical tap is a cheap and effective way of temporarily attaching the canon. Unless you can suggest a better way.

When chasing Whiting always use fish baits to get the bigger fish, learn from Alan Yates, and he was a good match angler!
