Luca Tommasini, the X Factor choreographer, absolutely did not want them to do pole dance so as not to expose them (and himself) to flame and haters, but as usual they didn't give a flying f and totally nailed it!
To me, the best thing in this amazing performance is exactly seeing how much fun Damiano is having. As you said: priceless!

Man you have to listen and watch "La paura del buio" live for Radio Italia. It has English subtitles, but I suggest watching Damiano's expressions because he's such a great actor, he truly feels what he's singing

They were just seventeen when they did this performance at XFACTOR. This band is insane and Damiano is a stage animal! This is a cover but it is Damiano who personally writes all the songs! He is a Rock poet! W MANESKIN! Super proud of gjis band! Hugs from Italy 🤟🇮🇹🤍

This was a cover by the Struts, from their album "Everybody Wants" (2014. Great reaction of yours! The lady judge was left speechless, Damiano had taken her breath away. Then she started saying that he was more thoroughly shaved than she was. 😅

Thank you for posting this. I am from Rome and live in the same area where they grew up. They were absolutely determined to pursue success very early and Damiano was an enfant prodige since early teens: he charmed school audience in Xmas choir by singing Your Song by Sir Elton John
The performance for x-factor are very short, about 2 minutes only, these are the rules. Damiano practiced pole dance for a week from morning to sunset to do the performance.

@@darlenew3446 actually, there's one they performed for Radio 2 (Radio 2 Social Club) that I think sounds even better, but there are no subtitles. I still prefer that one, but for reactions I think the Radio Italia Live one is more complete. Also, i like all the mimics by Damiano there.

I think its a cover of "The Struts"'s. That was the period when contestants had to perform covers only. Chosen is the debut extended play (2017).

On the X Factor, the songs are cut at about 2:30. Check their Beggin and Somebody told me from the X Factor!

Anyway, they had to make it short because I think there's some limit on the X Factor, about 2 minutes and a half. But, anyway, a good chef always leaves the guest with a bit of appetite.
There are videos of them performing (with pole dance included) on stages outside of the X Factor as well, but I think they date back a while. I don't know how often Damiano is willing to get a full body wax, after all. But they have also performed with The Struts on stage once, the video is available on YT.

As the Maneskin are truly unique and original, I would like to sign a petition to make them go to the Eurovision Song contest in 2022, in my opinion Italy would win for the second consecutive year. please listen to the song Leon or Alone or Medicine, thank you very much 😁👍🏻 you not regret it

This song is from The Struts, their original is 3.08mins long, Manesking performed the song in the XFactor TV show and also live in concert but always in the shortened version as far as I know. What do you think of such Rocky Horror Picture Show Style performance for an 18 year old guy?? :D

You never fail to entertain and I love your Måneskin reactions. A fun, and collaborative performance is actually with the original artists of 'Kiss This' - search 'The Struts feat Måneskin - Jumping Jack Flash', it is a great cover and includes a gleeful guitar/ bass battle to boot. It is not the best quality video/audio, but highly entertaining and they all look like they are having a blast.
