Damiano is a great performer and vocalist but in my opinion, his lyrics are even better. He was 19 when he wrote torna a casa, and 20 when he wrote zitti e buoni (won best lyrics at Eurovision). And coraline is a masterpiece

Hey NJ, I'm surprised no one has commented on their age yet. Damiano is 22 now, but when this song came out they were all teenagers.
Hi, here are some info on the band. Måneskin formed in Rome in 2016 and it is composed of Damiano David (22 yrs old - vocals), Victoria De Angelis (21yrs old - bass), Thomas Raggi (20 yrs old - guitar) and Ethan Torchio (21 yrs old - drums).
In 2017 they ranked second in the eleventh edition of X Factor Italy. The following year the debut album Il ballo della vita was released, containing the single Torna a casa, which consecrated the group in Italy, allowing them to undertake an extensive all-soldout tour. In 2021 the second album Teatro d'ira - Vol. I was released, containing the song Zitti e buoni, which allowed the group to triumph at the 71st edition of the Sanremo Festival and then at 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
I think Damiano is a highlander 🤣 an old soul!

Damiano was a beast performer from the start. His vocals, personality and talent are beyond his years. I agree with one music critic who reviewed their latest album, that yes they all are good, but Damiano is the only recognizable part of Maneskin. You should also check some of their interviews they are really intelligent and funny. Also he doesn't sound like a 22 years old, but he looks as one hot 22 years old 😉🙃

The lyrics repeat the title a load of times, you can confirm the pronunciation just by listening to them... This song came out with Il Ballo della Vita album, in 2018. Yeah, Damiano was 19. And the others are 1-2 years younger than him, think about this.

I don't think is a mistake - music is THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE par excellence! (classical music and music in general reached his peak without any lyrics) I've enjoyed english and american bands for decades without understanding a "yota" about what they were singing - then I've learned English but I've rarely changed my mind - no song with "bad" music has ever been revived with good lyrics.

Damiano was barely 18 Thomas and Ethan 15 years old and Victoria 16.

Their first record as you can hear is much more pop and lighter and only for very young people.This is a "canzonetta"(little song...not a great song) as we say in Italy.
Even if is more pop and light, Maneskin cannot produce “ little songs” or canzonette. They are on a maximum level, so talented that they just can’t naturally produce something “so so”. This is my opinion of course..honestly I never heard this song and it’s another very good one for me. Detta in italiano, i Maneskin non sarebbero capaci di fare canzonette neanche se lo volessero. La musica ha sempre una marcia in più. Ciao e peace🤟

Speaking italian is too hard, but reading is simple.
Just read all the consonants except for "CH" that sounds like a "K" or GL that is difficult, similar to double "LL" in French or Spanish. The vowels: you have 3 in the word America (an Italian word actualy) the "A" the "E" and the "I"; "O" and "u" you can use the American pronunciation, there are other rules but just to know. The maneskin came from Rome is for that that thier Italian pronunciation is good, in Milan, Naples or Sicily is too complicate to undestand.
I prepared myself not to laugh before u pronounced this strange one..But I Burst out laughing and giggling earlier. It is all right n apprehensible.
