It seemed like the baby’s weight was too much for me trying to steer, maybe it was the fear and I simply need to get used to it, but I freaked out and was wobbling like a jello😅😂 I feel too weak. Ugh… really want to make this work and get used to it because my baby loves it
Hey Ivana! It really can be nerve-wracking at first! I would suggest lowering your seat a little bit so you can easily touch the ground with your feet flat. That will give you more confidence that you won't fall over.
This seat doesn’t have a special mount for threadless headsets, so it may likely not fit. The Thule Yepp (not Nexxt) Mini does have a SlimFit threadless adapter that should be significantly easier.
Probably not on that headset, but you could call Thule's customer service to see if they have any workarounds for it. It is suitable for use starting at 12 months old.

I currently use the WeeRide but the child seat is too close to my saddle which forces my spine into a C-shape and it gets uncomfortable after a while. I noticed you tilt your head to one side when riding the bike with the Yepp. Would you say your form on the bike is different when the child seat is mounted? Thanks!!
I assume you have the WeeRide pushed all the way forward on its rail? If the WeeRide is still an uncomfortable ride, the Yepp Nexxt Mini might be a better option. It does sit much closer to the handlebars, but it is also sits higher up on the bike than the WeeRide. As a result, the top of the child's helmet is much closer to the adult rider's chin, so you often have to lean to one side or the other to prevent coming into contact with their helmet, especially as the child gets taller. On the flip side, because the seat is placed higher, you don't have to hunch over as much like you do on the WeeRide to get around the child.
Do you think the yep mini is easier to see over that the next mini? My wife has a women’s cruiser bike and the front mounted seat is our only option (bike not suitable for rear rack). Just trying to get an idea of the size difference of the two.
It can be done several ways, but I prefer to stand over my bike like I'm going to ride it, then lean down and grab my kid off the ground. I put them in the seat and buckle the harness from behind them.
I don't believe it will. It's hard to be 100% sure but based on the headset design, I don't believe there would be enough room for the threadless headset adapter. If your little one is older (typically 3 and up), mid-mount seats, such as the MacRide or Kids RideShot Gun would work great on the Spark.

The older girl is three years old. The seat maxes out at 33 pounds, which still offers your daughter plenty of room for growth. However, you do need to consider that even if she’s very skinny, as she grows taller, she will be more in your face. You could also consider a rear mounting child bike seat, which would allow for up to 40 pounds, and last you longer.

It really needs to be mentioned that the mount for this is a HUGE PITA for threadless stems.

so how do you prevent it getting stolen? gotta carry another cable lock ?
