How do I mount the front seat on my bike with the MTB/ATB adapter? - Urban Iki

Hi Rita, dat kan zeker. Hij wordt ook geleverd zonder de voetsteunen er aan gemonteerd te hebben. Met het hendeltje waarmee je het voetsteun mee kan verstellen kan je ook de voetsteun van het voorzitje afhalen, deze schuiven gewoon van de langwerpige delen van de voorkant af. This child seat does not work on a mountain bike because the steering angle is restricted by the footrests to 90%.
It is VERY dangerous and you can actually only go straight.
I bought this seat and MTB adapter for expensive money and now have no use for it.

While there is a significant turning restriction I've been going mountainbiking with my son since he was 7 month old using this seat and we rode up to grade 3 singletracks with no issues but a lot of fun

You could probably remove the footrests at this point.
But yeah, Thule Minis footrests are pushed more forward. Clearly better for the angle.
But it's a pity there is not many choices with 5mm slim mounting adapters.
Seems like Bobike mini has 4mm adapter also.
