If you like fitness or medical videos leave a subscription. Optionally you can top the oats with different things like peanut butter, apple and so on. Did you try it?

    why no eggs for breakfast

If I eat eggs, I will eat them for lunch or dinner. I like those long carbohydrates in oats for breakfast so that you have energy through the whole day. But maybe you can have a tinier portion of this with one or two eggs alongside:)

Yeah a doctor prescribing min 36,7 grams of sugar for breakfast is funny as hell and totally not why everybody is diabetic. Delusional like all the rest of mainstream doctors.

Carbs are not the same as sugar. Carbs aren’t bad per se. For example the glycogen in muscles is build from Glucose. Diab. Typ 2 has a genetic background and visceral fat is the greatest riscfactor. In my experience this meal keeps you full for a long time unlike eating cornflakes that contains sugar. So you don’t eat as much/more often. By the way, I‘m just a medical student and no doctor/physician.

So oats are carbs, which is sugar. Banana is fructose, which is sugar, raspberries are sugar as well. Only the almonds are fat. This meal is gonna spike your blood sugar crazy high right in the morning which is really bad for you and it overshadows all the health benefits youvemetioned in the video. Rather switch some of those sugars and add some fiber to lower the glucose spike

I understand your point, but oat has long-chain-carbs. These don´t spike your blood sugar, but with them you have a flat curve of carbs. Your body needs time to break those carbs down and so you get a bid of carbs through the day. So you have constant energy and don´t get tired. If you would eat candy (glucose = shortest form of carbs), you would have spikes and crushes.
Sugar per se isn´t that bad too. The WHO Health organisation recommends that you shouldn´t eat more than 50g of "added sugar" per day. Germany´s health organisation recommends 25g. This DOESN´T include fructose from fruits or the carbs in oats. So in this meal there is a total amount of 0g added sugar. Sugar or glucose are even necessary for our brain, because of our brain-blood-barriere. That´s why our body produces Ketos when we restrict ourselves of carbs.
By the way this meal is full of fiber too:)
I hope, you understand what I mean

@@unclesaam1 Fair point and of course do as you wish. But i recomend you to check the "Glucose Goddes" Jessie Inchauspé, shes got load of interresting science backed info about food and sugar. I just read one of her books recntly, did change some habbits and it is working, my blood sugar is getting lower. I used to eat breakfasts like yours and I almost developed type 2 diabetes, my blood sugar was getting really high. Because i am more sensitive to sugar I guess. Since I change my dietary habbits it got way better and im no longer in the pre-diabetic program. So I no longer believe in long cabs. Sugar is sugar, its bad for us, and it doesnt matter which molecule or form it takes. I found the hard way.

@@unclesaam1 Why would you believe anything that the WHO recommends? Sugar, processed carbs, and seed oils are toxic to your cellular health. Instead of highly processed, glyphosate-containing oats, try farro. Monsanto was rapidly contaminating every countries food supply, and was acquired in 2018 by a Bayer, a drug company; ask yourself what the synergies might be regarding this merger?

@@unclesaam1 Thank you. We have to stop thinking that natural sugars are killers. Anything can destroy you if you eat too much of it.

You can vary your topics as you wish. I like the banana because of the micronutrients, the potassium and for the taste.
