    I'm amazed at the percentage of content related to arm issues. That should be a focus of the racquet, especially when you hit the mid-40s as that can take you out for quite some time.

  • @K4R3N
    @K4R3N 3 роки тому +1

    Yes I remember Karue Sell had same comfort complaint about Ezone Tour. That crossed it off the list for me instantly. I'm using Speed MP now but strongly considering moving up to Speed PRO now that I'm stronger and hitting little cleaner

    • @charlesasch
      @charlesasch 3 роки тому +1

      I had the Speed MP when I started tennis back after a 10-year tennis break after high school varsity team - I found the rectangular grip shape hard to manage for me, after playing Babolat rackets in high school. I know from using Wilson Blade and Diadem Elevate that the rounder grip shape gives me personally better control over the racket’s weight. It’s individual, but you may find trying a rounder grip shape better, something like a Diadem Nova or Elevate Tour, Wilson Blade, or Babolat Pure Strike.

    • @K4R3N
      @K4R3N 3 роки тому +1

      @@charlesasch I tried some Yonex and they felt fine. My grip is a 5/8" and smaller grip makes me lose the bevels. Using additional overgrip simply continues to make the handle round which worsens the problem.

    Prince Textreme Tour 310.
    After consulting you i switched to this frame and it's a true weapon. Great mix of power, control and spin.
    100 sqin but swings like a 98 and has a massive sweetspot.
    Yeah i know, there are no cool embassadors or top notch marketing but Prince has still got it

    You should have tried the Vcore Pro HD with a thin poly, instead of 1,25. It is night and day...

    Good insights Jonas! The only thing is I wish you put the head extreme tour in one of the categories. It was my favorite new head racquet. It doesn’t excel in any one category but checks all the boxes and can be customized for a great player racquet.

    Happy new year to you Jonas as well! I saw your earlier review on the Head Pro Tour 2.0. Back then you found it perhaps a bit too challenging to use, at least in competitive play. What has changed since then as you like it so much today? Your game has surely improved even more since then after hard training but is there anything else to it? 🙂 Or have you just come in terms with it even better after just many hours of playing with it? Happy New Year to you and your loved ones! For me the Ezone Tour issue is the depolarized weight layup. Too much in the throat. Feels sluggish and makes you want to wrist it. And that tires you and that forcing also makes more shock for your joints

    I appreciate that you mentioned the improvement in the Head Prestige MP 360+ from the Graphene Touch. Although I like the control of the Touch, it bothers my wrist and transmits a lot of vibration, even in a hybrid setup.
    What is your main string set-up when using the Head Prestige MP 360+?

    • @Tennisnerd
      @Tennisnerd  3 роки тому +1

      I like a shaped and spin-friendly poly in the Prestige - Hyper-G Soft, Toroline Caviar, Mayami Tour Hex for example at 50 lbs

    • @googlereviewer1944
      @googlereviewer1944 3 роки тому +1

      The MP 360+ is garbage - soft but flimsy, unstable, with no backbone and no real finishing power....and I say that as the owner of 7 generations of different Prestiges. Graphene is basically junk.

    I kind expected the Blade to be included but then I realized that the video perhaps is about the best rackets released in 2020, and not the best rackets in 2020 (with some overlapping of course). If so, maybe that should be made more obvious, or it's just me being a bit daft and everyone else get this :)

    Thanks for all the good reviews and tips. I'm curious to know if you think that some of the issues with arm pain you are experiencing with some of the racquets has to do with string choice. I noticed you like to use luxilon alu power 125 on a lot of your racquets. I did that for a while on my wilson racquets and I had issues with arm pain as well but now having switched to a hybrid set up that has resolved. A gut or multifilament really alters the feel of the stiff racquets and saves my arm. Would be curious to hear your take on it.

      @@Tennisnerd thanks for replying, I really appreciate your channel, website and reviews. I am on the verge of getting the Prince for when lockdown ends, and it was also good to see what you said about the Dunlop as a comparison. It’s great to hear you temper your reviews with why you feel the way you do, Arm issues, getting a bit older etc. After all, there is no ‘best’ racquet, as we are all individuals and it is so subjective, but you manage to explain the relative merits, whilst matching them to particular styles of play and personal preference. Thanks for the great content, and I hope you can do a ‘comfort’ category, as I want to keep playing without arm issues, and while I love my Head Speed MP, I want to play more frequently but find I have to take breaks of a few days to let my elbow and shoulder recover. That’s why I think the Prince would be a good choice for me, I have a heavy spin game, but want the control it seems to provide. Cheers

    What do you think makes the ezone tour hard on the arm? Only 62 RA and it's from an arm friendly brand like Yonex. Weird

    Great review!!! You are absolutely right on Yonex Ezone Tour. Arm is sore after using it, estecially if it strung tight. I also consider Head Spee Pro now but my main criteria was SW 318 from HEAD documentation. Is it eally SW 335 when strung? Which would be an alternative to this with the lower SW?
