  • Today I will finish up my setup tutorial for the SQ5, this time looking at the console and learning how to setup things such as groups, aux and matrices. We will also look at patching inputs, double patching and parallel processing.

You can actually store an entire strip in the user library. If Pete is playing on week and you get him all set with EQ, HPF, gate, and compressor. On the basic most "processing" screen where all the channel strips are visible still, select Pete's channel. That is when you go into the library and create a new user addition. I often use this when singers change which mic they are singing that week and when I have different instruments on stage. I usually stop these as "Vox (Name)" or "AG (Name) in an effort to stay organized. It recalls ALL their previous settings, even theirs name.

You can store and recall a library for a complete channel strip with all the processing settings. But only on the SQ itself, not on the software simulator.

Thank you a bunch for this informative video tutorial, I have a SQ 5. I use my SQ-5 mainly in my home recording studio setting. Can you do a tutorial for that setting? Such as using FX, and recording the FX returns?

Thx for this video. Guess I am still missing something. I need to take 1 input call it guitar and 1 week it’s guitar but next week it’s a digital keyboard as an organ. The organ sounds ok in room lots of natural reverb but our livestream mix it sounds electronic. Not using any fax or grips at this point. Could I store this as 2 scenes? Thinking simplest way for volunteers to use it. Thx

The title doesn't appear to match the video... The Video is about your stats on tic toc, youtube and facebook. The title says Setting up an SQ5 - part 2. I am not really interested in your success on TicToc
