- Do you know how to quickly determine if the Levi's you are sourcing are vintage? If not, hopefully this video will give you a foundation to build on when sourcing to sell on eBay, Postmark, Mercari, Depot, or other reselling platforms. I will be discussing three basic signs to watch for which will help you to identify whether or not your Levi's are vintage fashion, modern BOLOs, or true collector's items. Thanks Josh, This was an insightful and educational video about Levi's. I've often looked at them when thrifting, but usually refrained from picking them up as I wasn't confident they were profitable. Armed with this knowledge I'll start checking them out again. Thanks for sharing your research!
Thanks brother!! Glad it was helpful. I would suggest focusing on 501s, anything selvedge, vintage silver tabs, and discontinued styles. But there are gems in all of it and good value in some of the modern vintage (80s-90s) and orange tab jeans if you can get a good price.
That's aweosme information. Fun fact, some of that material before being sent out of country to be made into levis was manufactured right here in my home town in Graniteville SC. My dad started working there at 14. Worked there all his life until the 2005 train derailment which ended his career in the textile industry.
Wow!!😮 That’s pretty awesome! I remember when the local cotton mill here closed down in the early 2000s. It was really hard on the local economy.

Good video! I never to look for these.
I know a lot of folks don’t pay attention to clothing, but there’s some really great items there from time to time. Any Levi’s from the 1970s or earlier are really high value and good sellers if you find them at a good price. The more modern vintage, 80s-90s, is a lot more nuanced.

I have a pair of Fresh Produce Levis that I have been trying to sell. They are vintage, but I'm wondering if they are rare. I've never ever seen a pair until I found these. I'm having a hard time selling them and was wondering if I should put rare into the title.
It might not hurt. I know about the Fresh Produce line but I’m not as familiar with it. I did a little research and it seems to be rare enough and have good value, but the sell price is all over the place and the sell through is surprisingly slow. I would assume it’s because most people don’t even know about that line of Levi’s. Whereas, everyone knows what 501s are. It will probably be a longer tail item if you price in the higher side of the comps, but it may be worth waiting on the right buyer for such a unique item.
