Another tip that can help is to stamp the outline first in a very light gray or beige, so you know where to land the layers atop it. Then, finish with the outline again in black like you did.
Thank you! Glad you found the video helpful. For sure! That tip is a life saver, I've lost the orientation of my design so many times before doing that lol 😅
Finally I found the best stamper. I have just started but I love stamping - and I didn't even know about layered stamping plates!! Hmmmm shopping time followed by bingeing your stamping vids 🤩
Thank you so much for creating this video. Admittedly, I have been stamping for a little while now and layered stamping is the devil lol it drives me nuts that I can never get the layers to align and I usually end up reverse stamping the outline image. thanks for all your tips. I’m gonna give it another go.
Happy to hear you'll give it another try! I totally understand, it can be a pain to align the layers sometimes 😅 hope the tips are useful ❤️ Thank you for watching the video!
I love the sweater girl. What plate is that? Thank you just found your site recently since I bought some stamping platese. Thank you for your expertise and informative videos. Love them 👍🏾❤️
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Love to hear you're getting into stamping ❤️ that plate is Clear Jelly Stamper Cjs-320. Most of their plates are made for layering 👍
I was just looking at th e girl with coffee stamping plate. I’m definitely getting that after the demo. Layered stamping confuses me. This helps a lot.
Great tips! This is one of two stamping techniques I have yet to try (the other being the one where you pick up two images for a patterned look…😮) and after watching your video I think I’m ready to dive in. First I need to get a rectangular stamper, though. What brand do you recommend?
Thank you! Glad you liked the video 🤗 both techniques are super fun, just give it a try! I'd recommend Uber chic, Moyou London (same style as the one I'm using) or Clear Jelly Stamper (this brand has a rectangular stamper but it's much taller). Hope it helps 👍
In theory I love layered stamps, but in practice....😫 I really wish all plates would use arrows or, better still, that color image sample paper. (Which brand does that come from, btw?)
I know, it can be a bit complicated!😞 I also think all the brands should provide some clues as it's not obvious what step is next. UberChic usually provides arrows and Clear Jelly Stamper is the only one to my knowledge that provides the drawing templates. Hope it helps 🤗❤️
If you enjoyed the video, please give it a like and share it with someone. I appreciate the support ❤😊

@TinyFingersnailart what plate is the girl with coffee from?
@@HibiscusNailzthat one would be Fall Sweater - Two (CjS-320) brand "Clear Jelly Stamper" 🤗
What kind of polish do you use?
Edit: thanks for covering that as well 🤗

@@TinyFingersnailart Awesome - thanks!!
The little mismatches add to the appeal imo. If it was perfect you could just use foils
Thanks, glad you liked it. Mismatches can also add to the look, absolutely 🤗
