I don't work with gel but it'd be the same process. If you're covering just a stamping image with the powder, you have to make sure that you remove the sticky layer from the base color before, otherwise the powder will stick all over your nail. 😊

@TinyFingersnailart of course. So I mean a full black nail, with one glow in the dark stamp on top of just a single image.

@@jjspade81 I see. In that case, it's better if you use an image that is outlined, you can color it in the stamper and make a reverse stamping image. If it's a negative space image what you're trying to use, you can either paint the whole nail of the color you want the image and then stamp with black, that way the color will show through the negative space of the image. Another way is to paint the rest of the stamper with the base color you want to use and paint the space of the image with another color, then you transfer the whole thing. hope it helps!

@@jjspade81 sure! That can work. You could paint all the nail white and then stamp the negative space with black, that way the white will show only in the image 🤗

@@vevelinutzu are you using gel polish or regular polish? Gel polish won't dry with air so the stamper will pick up all the streaks on the plate. If you're using regular polish and still have this issue, I recommend the following: -Check your scraper, if it has rough edges, it might leave heavy streaks. File the border to make sure it's smooth. -Try to scrape in different directions. -Do not use too much polish, that might be causing the heavy streaks. Hope it helps 🤗

@@jennifervilleneuve5692 Hi! the design can shrink when the stamper is too stretch out when you stamp. That could be because you're applying too much presure or the stamper is super soft. Does this happen with more than one stamper? Try to use a different one and see what happens. When the polish dries up too fast, it could also shrink the design a bit. I'd recommend stamping polishes or working super fast if you're using regular polishes. I hope it helps 🥰

@@jennifervilleneuve5692 that must be it. There's a special gel polish for stamping, not all of them will work. However, a lot of people use regular stamping polish to stamp over gel 👍

@@umaimakhan9752 I use Black stamping polish. It's more opaque and it takes a little longer to dry so it gives you some time to transfer the design onto your nail. You can also use regular polish but the result won't be as opaque and it will dry faster. Hope it helps 🤗

That can happen, but I'd say it's rare. I've never had issues with the plates I've used. I recommend What's up nails, Uber chic, Clear jelly stamper, Moyou London and Kads. Hope it helps 🤗❤️

@@daniellelovell6927 not in this case because I'm doing reverse stamping. For that to work, the design has to be dry on the stamper so it won't transfer to your skin. I apply a sticky base coat on my nail so it will transfer properly 🤗 Hope it helps!

@@irisphys yeah, that's the name. Sometimes it's sold out everywhere. I remember last time I got it I waited a long time for it to get it back in stock. It seems to be available on Rainbow connection, a UK online store. Alternatively, you could try another brand of a non-glue peel off base coat (clear) and test it over chrome powder. I wouldn't know as I don't have any other brand for a peel off base coat but I've heard good things about Holo Taco and Cirque Colors 👍 Hope it helps 🤗

@ i bought this moyra product and i was wondering if you tried with glitter instead of foil because so far i just tried with chrome powder

@izanamiaiart Oh I see, I haven't tried with loose glitter so I wouldn't know. However, I don't think it will stick very well 🤔. Even though the product is a bit stickier than regular polish, in my opinion, glitter would need something a lot stronger to hold onto. Hope it helps 🤗

@@alexandraribeiro144 Hi! unfortunately, I don't use gel. All my videos are based on regular nail polishes. However, you can still use regular stamping polish (no gel) over your poly gel 🤗
