Making The Most Accurate PUZZLE - Zero Tolerance Machining
Вставка

- In this video we show you what the CNC wire EDM machine can do. It is incredibly accurate, it can cut precisely to the thousandth of a millimeter! However, the high precision has 1 disadvantage, namely the production time.
It took one and a half hours to make 1 small puzzle piece! although it is not made from 1 cut, but from 3. It took 2 months to make the whole puzzle with all the operations, as this was the only way a free machine was available. It's amazing how accurate this machine is!!
machining videos
( of course, we did it only after the official work, when the machine could be used! )
Used machines:
- CNC wire EDM machine
- surface grinding machine
- laser engraver
THANK YOU for watching!

The accuracy and tolerances are *staggering* Thanks for the video
Beautiful work so precise 👍🙈🙉🙊
Thank you!👍🙏
With the amazing work you put in to your projects u deserve far more subscribers truly amazing content
Thank you for your kind words, I hope it will be like this in the future!

I love this nice work, the perfect fit of all these parts and the finish after grinding.
and then... you ruined it with these pictures 😭
Thank you! You may be right, unfortunately, but since it's a puzzle, it also needed a picture
I thought that too. Not sure he got it though. 😊
I got it!😂. EDM ARE Awsome ❤. Nice that you did both sides. Great job all around.
Congratulations! It's a real luck having the opportunity to work with such fantastic machines. Your boss seems to have a lot of trust in you. And I think the puzzle is a perfect christmas gift for someone who likes well made metal stuff.
Thank you! Fortunately, people are normal and appreciate the work.
It would be a good gift, but unfortunately it takes a lot of time to make.
it's simply excellent! this machine is very accurate
Thanks! Yes it is
I would like to buy one for my son. Can you make me one and how much? Thanks
I would gladly make it for you, but unfortunately it takes a lot of time to make it. but it may be for sale later!
For something so creative and awesome like that it's worth waiting for. You Sur are a genius. Please let me be one of the first one's to know when it's up for sale. And thanks for replying back, stay creative.
damn nice, i got a sodick vl400q whenever i can , im on it experimenting at job.
It's a very excellent machine!
Modern high-quality pocket knives are made in wire EDM machines, frequently with zero tolerances!
This machine is perfect for anything!
Perfect work!🔥
it was soo clean until you engraved it :(
Ficou top!
Quite amazing
Thanks
Is there a link to where I can buy such a puzzle?
unfortunately this puzzle is not for sale
Can u please use wire EDM to make a machine that uses air displacement and gravity to drive all of it's moving parts. Everything starts as a cube, then you press in a button and that displaces air that then triggers a chain reaction of parts. It would revolutionise how machines operate. No electricity required, can be applied to scenarios where either there is no electricity or electricity can't be used. I don't understand why nobody hasn't thought of this already.
Astonishing.
Thanks!
Wow! How long does it take you to cut all those pieces?
One piece was 7 minutes
@@Matthews_Tools One piece with 3 cuts? That's impressive
@@Matthews_Tools And does the cutting speed change with different workpiece thicknesses? Or is the cutting speed the same regardless of the thickness of the workpiece?
Yes the first cut is the slowest and the 2. And 3. Cut is much more faster. The first cut was 7 minutes and the 2. & 3. Was 1 minute separately
@@Matthews_Tools And if for example is the cutting speed of 50mm thick and 100mm thick parts would be the same using wire EDM, or the thicker the parts, the slower the speed?
faltou aplainar as laterais tambem
the side part is not important
That is flippin' awesome!
Thanks!
