This video is amazing. Thanks for posting this. Had the exact same hose split and this will help me tackle it this weekend 🎉
Thanks! That really helped me reconnect the hoses to the right place. Great job at showing each part and explaining how they all connect. Again, thanks!
Love this German design... 100% perfect optimization for DRIVING ME BATSHIT INSANE
The phrase "it breaks easily" applies to just about everything on these cars.
Houston, Texas Mechanic, Scotty Kilmer (check out his UA-cam channel!) is always talking about the 'plastic crap' on engines nowadays. He is right, it is crap!! 😁
The links to the amazon are out of stock. I was wondering if you knew how I could purchase the whole kit as you suggested
Muy bueno 😮😊
Is the PCV valve was the tube with clip on next to the dipstick
How does this look on a 1.6 engine (ayd) ?
Is the valve under the oil cap on a 1.6 engine?
Can someone help me please. Idk the name of the part I need. It looks just like the part in 8:45 in the video when he took it out. But I have a hole in my hose at the very top part of the hose. I was wondering do I need to replace the whole thing or can I just replace the top part. I called the dealership and they told me they dont make parts for a 2005 Beetle anymore. I despretly need help on this if anyone can help me plz.

My beetle burns a lot of oil at high speed, could it be the PCV valve?
Wow mine happens to be the same hose
All that work just to change the pcv valve.
is it possible that the car is loosing power over that problem?
Χαράλαμπος Καναλουπίτης yes we can also cause misfires to and you can get lean code P0171
I wanted to watch . really I did.. but got sea sick.
Seems like everything breaks easily.
