I'm really enjoying this game, but the inventory system is a huge pain point. So many different items causing inventory clog, unlinked chests meaning far too much time is spent simply moving and organizing items instead of doing the actual enjoyable parts of the game. In a move to rectify this and some other issues, I am using the following mods linked here for convenience. Beam Me Up Gerry (better teleportation support) www.nexusmods.com/graveyardkeeper/mods/61 Where's Ma Storage At (Improved inventory management tools including linking all chests) www.nexusmods.com/graveyardkeeper/mods/62 Where's Ma Points (Instantly collects exp instead of having it linger on the ground) www.nexusmods.com/graveyardkeeper/mods/71 Teleport Stone Zero Cooldown (removes the cooldown on the teleport stone) www.nexusmods.com/graveyardkeeper/mods/84 Enjoy!
these mods fix most if not all of my issues with the gameplay mechanics of the game. this game isnt the best at respecting your time but there are systems later on in the game that make it much much more bearable (not to get too spoilery) excited to see you long play this one!
@@nicklausdavis No this game came out in 2018. It has 4 DLCs (1 is free). It's as finished as it will ever be. + you know Jake doesn't play early access games.
@@Unni_Havas ???? are you talking about keplerth or graveyard keeper???? I'm aware grave yard keeper is finished, ive played it, i was responding to a comment about the game 'keplerth' which im fairly certain is still under development
Cooking is actually really good. A few dishes give you buffs and one of them if you use it at the time you study something for blue points you get a shit ton. One guy I watched lived on Cake and beer. In fact you won't have to sleep as much when you eat and you can also make a meditation area that is equal to sleep.
I made a combo prayer and uses nothing but for the whole game. Like the chatter said, faith is key and necessary for progression, and money is able to found in other places.
Dig to your heart’s content brother! This is a genuine old school good game and you’ll enjoy it significantly more in the end if you don’t bother with mods. Imagine ftl with qol
@@ulfjohnsen6203 This is true. While the church does dictate the number of pilgrim, it does not dictate the total amount of money. If you improve teh church, but not the graveyard, you will get more Pilgrim, but each one will give less donation. If you improve the graveyard and not the curch each pilgrim will give more money,

Last episode was very enjoyable, hoping midgame doesn't turn into a slog
Oh this game loves its slog.

Is the character of this game Father Jack? He seems like he's only got two phrases.
1) That would be an ecumenical matter.
2) Yes.
Why would one need faith to study nails he asks? Surely because Jesus himself was held up with nothing but.
New recipe unlocked
1 cross + 3 nails = 4 given
the proper order of metalic materials is: bronze, iron, steel, mithril, adamantium, meteorite. Source: i made it up.

Can't use food to give energy vs the sleeping?
I juuust finished the first part
The quality of the graveyard governs how many attendees while the quality of the church governs money per pilgrim
Graveyard = money, church = faith. Church also determines success on a sermon.
