My favorite part in the chorus is the “sickened from wanting you, frightened of finding the truth”
Either makes me think of addiction and how you’re sickened from wanting it so bad and frightened of facing the truth that you’re a slave to the substance OR
I think of toxic relationships.
I can recall many times when I’ve felt like the other person has enveloped my thoughts and I literally feel sickened from how bad I want them but I know something isn’t right in the relationship.
Emotions are extremely meaningful and neccesarry, therefore Disturbed is better than any antidepresentatives.
Disturbed is both relaxing and exhilarating for me.

Disturbed's best song. It is not possible to play this song too loud. I would love to see a live version. It seems very do-able. Not too difficult. But 2 guitarists would really give it that full sound like the studio version.

does anyone know how to play the solo at the end?
I’ve never seen anyone cover it.
This solo is a bit anarchic. I'm pretty sure he recorded it as an improvisation. That's basically pentatonic with bends… Jimi Hendrix style.
I feel like this song could have easily replaced a handful of the songs on ten thousand fists and it would have been better for it, wonder why they left it off the album.
It's subtle, but you can see that this song has a chorus whose tempo and melody are a bit reminiscent of “Stricken”. Maybe that's why they decided to leave it off the album. There should be no other explanation, cause this song is fantastic!
