For the Gardner, you need at least 1 seed for the selection, then it will pull it from chests!

@@Megz1794no cause I’ll have 1 pack of seeds in my inventory, load the machine it sees 600 seeds I have stored in chests!

I'm coming to terms with the fact that these machines aren't what I thought they'd be. When we first heard about these "automation" machines, I thought things would be more... automatic? For example, with the gardener, I thought we'd just chuck in a thousand seeds and it would just keep processing them until it ran out and we'd collect the giant harvest. I personally don't have any use for any of them as they are, but I'm happy others are enjoying them!

Same with the vacuum.
They really missed the ball with the fact that we don’t get a buddy harvest bonus. The loss is just too substantial to justify using the machine for harvesting imo. I basically just use the machines for watering so I don’t have to remember all the time, but it’s low-key disappointing. The vaccum on the other hand- SO GOOD. Now I don’t have to worry about where I plant my trees since I don’t have to manually go and find every stray piece of wood lol

Thanks for making this video. I have only made the basic ancient cooker and the basic vacuum so far, just because I haven’t finished unlocking all the biomes in Eternity Isle. And I’ve seen how expensive the machines were going to be. I’m pretty disappointed with the ancient cooker because 10 meals isn’t that much for “bulk” cooking, especially when you have to wait to claim them and also spend MORE mist to use the machine. I’m glad to know the vacuum is actually worth it when you upgrade because right now I’ve been very disappointed that it only vacuums up night thorns or shards.. that confused me, and I wondered if I just didn’t place it in a good spot. It seems lame that it only vacuums one type of thing at level one, but I guess I’ll be upgrading to level 3 ‘cause that’s the kind of vacuum I was expecting and would like. I guess it makes sense level 1 wouldn’t have that or you wouldn’t need to upgrade 😆 I feel like the gardener I might only use for its digging function to be honest, with the vacuum nearby. I might let it do watering as well, and then just manually harvest so I can get the extra crops. Digging and watering has always been the parts of gardening that are the most tedious to me anyway, not the harvesting. I hope they improve the ancient cooker because unfortunately I feel like that one is the least worth your time, when like you said I can make more meals manually and without spending mist. It does suck though because that’s the one I looked forward to the most 😢 I’ll have to try making your beefed up berry salad, since basic berry salad is my go-to meal also. 🧐 ANYWAY, long comment I made… THANK YOU for making this video because it’s nice to know fully what each machine and its upgrade does, to help decide what’s worth it. 🎉

Thanks for another great tutorial! I've watched the Fae Farm ones. So helpful. I use the gardener only to water. I'm a miser and am still saving mist for more companions who help with mist. I thought they would do more considering other games with automated machines. AND the novelty of mining for mist has run out! So gone.

You have a ton of Ancient Cores, i was luckly to find one in the forbidden land... seems the hardest right now is finding a fire extinguisher , i really found 2 but they don't wanna be found easy
I have all my villagers as timebenders so you get a lot more when you have one as a buddy. Best of luck!!

Oh I was excited about the vacuum to pick up al the stupid clay and stick and stones. But I don't want it to pick up my flowers since I decorate with them. OR you just tell it what to pick up? For the gardener, I would use it just to plant and water.
You can pick and choose which items you want it to pick up. So if you have flowers around you placed for decor, simply ignore those in the menu. You can see me demonstrating it at 6:58. :) It's definitely beyond helpful!

I have my vacuum at level 3 and I'm lucky to have it pick up 3 flowers
It should pick up everything on the floor in the specific biome you have it placed in. If it's not, I recommend reporting it to the devs because it may be a bug. Best of luck!

@@JadeMistGaming yeah, I did that within a few days. Been playing most days and have 2 level 3 cores
@@JadeMistGamingI finally have level 3 cores spawning. It seems the update fixed something and I was finally able to make 2 vacuums earlier, one for the valley and one for the isle. They’re so convenient!
My next mission is to get two more cores to make the tiny little robot companion

If you assign the timebending role to all your villagers, you get more from your timebending buddy. I have all my villagers except for Wall-e set up as timebenders. I reserve Wall-e for gardening.

I only find when the vaccums are active to be annoying since I don’t have as many vaccums yet Iam still working on making the ancient machines.
The vacuums are only active for a few seconds at a time when you click on them to collect your items. You really only need 1 vacuum for your entire valley you can just keep in your inventory and use when needed. Vacuums are truly the best out of all 3 machines.
@@JadeMistGaming I know that I only find it be annoying because I made the basic one the only one have and it will keep saying it’s not active when It was the only one I had in my valley yet my advanced and regular vaccums work a lot better the basic one hasn’t worked since I made it

If it's not working as intended, I highly recommend reporting to the devs on their discord so that can look into it. So sorry it's not working for you.
I was afraid the vacuum would put out my fires in the Forgotten Lands. Someone told me it wouldn’t. I have been using it ever since. My valley looks cleaner and it makes me happy. I love the cooker but I don’t think I will use the gardeners because I already have holes
The vacuum is definitely the one machine that is so worth it for me. :) I love it!!
The vaccum won’t put out the fires in the forgotten lands since that’s one of fairy god mothers tasks she helps you put out the fires in the forgotten lands because you need your watering can to put out the fires in the forgotten lands

@@RedK5 I know Iam just saying why it wouldn’t put out the fires In the forgotten lands since that’s a quest task so the vaccums only pick stuff like nightthorns-Flowers,splinters of fate…etc… aka stuff you would have to pick up by hand.
Ancient Machines really aren't all they're cracked up to be. It's not just the mist, do they really save you that much time?
The ancient vacuum has truly saved so much time and effort cleaning up all around the valley for me, so yes, I think that one is definitely worth it. I never use the others.
The only thing I find annoying with the vaccums is that it seems like there’s a limit for when the vaccums are active
The only machine with a limit is the gardener. The vacuum is only active for a few seconds when you click on them so there shouldn't be any issues with using more than one since only one is really needed.
@@JadeMistGaming I know that I just think my basic vaccum is glitched since it didn’t work when I made it when it was the only vaccum I had at the time yet when I made the regular and advanced vaccums those ones work like a charm no problem
@@JadeMistGaming so I basically just carry around and use either the advanced vaccum or a regular vaccum or I pick stuff by myself since my basic vaccum keeps saying nothing to claim everytime I go to check it when I have it in certain biomes where as the ones I use for the forgotten lands -all my other biomes works just fine. It’s just the basic one the first vaccum I made that won’t pick nothing no matter where I place it
@@Megz1794 The basic vacuum only picks up night thorns or splinters of fate. So if you don't have those on your biome, it will show nothing is available to pick up.
The only ones i made were the cookers, the vacuum is a no no for me because of the pretty jems on eternity isle that are the replacements for night thorns and the pretty glass ones in glittering dunes that glow
You can pick and choose which items you want to pick up so if you want to leave the splinters of fate in eternity isle, don't select them. :) I demonstrate how you can manually select things at 6:58. It's amazing! I avoid picking up flowers in certain biomes that I have decorated with specific flowers this way.
I've had the worst luck with finding ancient cores. I have so much mist and other stuff. No ancient cores
Feel free to jump onto my discord and place a "Valley Ad" saying you're looking for ancient cores. I'm sure there's plenty of others in the community that are willing to trade or even give you any you're missing.
I tend to get a lot having all my companions as time bending buddies and using the time rifts when they pop up.
@amandaw1015:you have to upgrade your hourglass to find the ancient cores a lot more faster.
@amandaw1015:also those ancient cores are litterally everywhere aka in all biomes so you can time bend in all biomes even in your valley

Again, basic vacuum only picks up night thorns or splinters of fate. You'll need the advanced to pick up everything thing else.
@@JadeMistGaming I get that my point is my basic vaccum doesn’t even pick up nightthorns-splinters of fate when I place it in biomes with nightthorns-splinters of fate it keeps giving me the message of nothing to claim. Basically my basic vaccum doesn’t work

Its just too pretty for me to get rid of, I'm so extremely careful when I'm near the pretty jewels so i don't accidentally remove them
They aren’t jewels they are splints of fate which are like night thorns for eternity isle where you have to remove em since sometimes they give coins or dream shards if you remove them since one of the tasks /duties for eternity isle is remove 3 splinters of fate. And one of the ancient machines will let you select what items to remove from your valley
These machines are useless to me
So far for me the vacuum has been the most useful. I use it everyday.
Where do I get the ancient core ?
You get ancient cores by time bending all around your valley or isle. Level 1 cores need level 1 hourglass. Level 2 cores require a level 2 hourglass and level 3 cores require a level three hourglass. :)
