The best thing about liking Rammstein and not speaking German is that I can willfully ignore lyrics about barbed wire going into places barbed wire should never go 😭😭

I have to agree I've seen them twice best fuckin shows I've ever seen and I'm 57 and been to a lot of shows our daughter was 6 the first time we saw them she loved it

He doesn't do all those things to another person. He does them to himself. By "you" he means his own body. It's a song about self-harm.

He was born in 1963 in East Germany the other side of the wall. He's come a long way. What a story....
Back in the 90s when they toured and played their self titled song 'Rammstein' Til (the singer) would wear a long sleeve, long jacket with the back and sleeves on fire during pretty much the entire song. He just kicks back and waits while on fire for the guitar solo and then goes back to singing. Its nuts.

Till Lindemann really is a great showman (not to disrespect aussie brother Hugh Jackman lol); he is actually working together with a circus for a show in Germany and his other band "Lindemann" provided the music for a theatre play of "Hänsel and Gretel."
Every member of Rammstein is a character though, they are all driving forward the whole project.

I saw this show live on Rock Werchter in 2010 (LIFAD tour). When I saw they were headliners, I just had to go. Very nice weekend overall, but Rammstein was the highlight for me. Absolutely amazing show.

I cant get over the fact he's on a tiny plinth is really up high and has no safety harness. Amazing band live it was an experience not just a concert one I'll never forget. I hope to see them next year.

If you like fire you should watch "Rammstein - Sonne [multicam] - Live Saint Petersburg 2019" (unoffical/Fan vid). Sound is not perfect but I promise, you can not imagine nor have you ever seen before a stage design and show like this. It will blow your mind.

"Fun"fact, Flake (the keyboarder) burnt all his fingers on the cooking pot from the "Mein Teil" performance (during practice) right before the tour and played the whole tour with burnt, aching fingers!
I'd like to suggest a rarely - more like never - reacted to Rammstein-performance. Which boggles my mind tbh, for it's so so so incredibly, hauntingly beautiful. Not only is the song itself an absolute masterpiece, but it is one of the very rare Rammstein songs that showcase what an amazing pianist Flake actually is.
