For me as a German this Hacker-Pschorr Bottle (Baverian Beer) is an absoute Eye Catcher. You got to hear to the opener of the song Rammlied to hear the right pronounce of the band. The great thing about Rammstein is that their songs and riffs are very simple. But it's in the arrangement, production and Flake's keyboards that really transforms them into something uniquely Rammstein.
Everyone who has problems with rammstein need to remember till was born in 1963 in East Germany when the wall was still up. So if you are a hater of actual history. It's not their problem.
Till Lindemann does have another project together with Peter Tägtgren. They have two albums and one live DVD. Lindemann also has his solo project called 'Lindemann'. His song 'Ich hasse Kinder' (I hate kids) is very strong. And from a history perspective the songs 'Любимый город "LUBIMIY GOROD” and 'Alle Tage ist kein Sonntag' are classical beauties and very emotional. Till is very vulnerable.

No, they are not covered in gel. The pyro is perfected, protection is not needed. If they were coated in protection, they would never last for two hours, they would sweat to death. It's all about being in the right place at the right time.

Awesome! I love Rammstein, they are probably the best live band in the world. I've seen them twice, from the first row, and those where the best shows of my life. 🤩🔥💥. Please do the live versions of "Engel", "Mein Teil" or "Feuer Frei" (or even Du Hast live in Paris). FYI (so you can relax and enjoy the show 😊) the bathtub has like a "trap door" of sorts, inside, for Flake's safety, also, the black coat he wears when Till puts him in there is fire retardant. Even though they are not "covered" in gel, they do use some, so all that shinny grease on their bodies is not "just" sweat, 😉 they even add some color to it using dark make up (or even instant coffee, in "the old days" 😁). When Till goes up in that plataform he puts his right leg inside a "boot" as fall safety. After they had a little accident with some fire effects during a show, back in the 90s, all members learned more about pyro safety and Till Lindemann even got a licence as a professional pyrotechnician, so don't worry, everything looks extremely dangerous, but all is safe, timed, and under control.😉 Their pyro props are custom and the band often upgrade some of their "classic" effects, or add new designs with every tour, they even upgraded (massively) their whole stage for their latest European tour. Oh, and all members of the band are sweethearts.😊
I personally would never recommend any "funniest/craziest" whatever moments videos as they are generally full of spoilers for surprising/cool things in future performances you might watch

We germans are amsolutly sick of this and they tend to block Music originated in Germany, especially popular ones like Rammstein.
Ollie Reidel is the tallest of them standing at 6 ft 7 in! But Till is the beefiest of them. He's actually a very mellow guy and an introvert. When the band isn't touring making albums or him doing his side projects he's at his home in a German Village and he's very private. Even the villagers keep his home and life protected and that says a lot in my opinion. He also suffers from stage freight and that's how they have all that crazy pyro shows. He used to be extremely uncomfortable on stage.
One video of theirs you need to check out is the Live in Paris version of "Du Hast" The show is amazing, and the lyrics are great, since they are a play on the german wedding vows.
Rammlied shows Tills singing ability but there are many songs if his thst show his talent. With rammstein, his duo with Peter called, "Lindemann" and his complete solo called "Till Lindemann." He is an incredible actor, singer, poet and writter. He has published books and movies he has acted in (beside his music on stage acting). One hell of a dude

He was talking about it, like a 12 year old Kid, getting an autograph from Till. Similar happened in an interview with Richard (the Lead guitarist) as they where touring with Kiss. Richard told, that he had even a poster from them on the door of his room and later they where opening up for them. He said, that he tried to stay "cool", but also became a kid, because he was suddenly on tour with them. How can you not love those guys. "Bad-Ass" on stage, but so sweet in "normal live". I am a fan, since I heard "Engel" in 1997 at some Nightclub in Austria, so I had the opportunity to watch, the one or other interview and in this case I am glad, that our native language is also German.

Fun Fact about this song; The Bonn Federal Testing Agency for Media Harmful to Young People put the album on the index because of the song "Ich Tu Dir Weh" and a torture illustration in the booklet. As a result, 55,000 CDs would be destroyed, and the album could no longer be made accessible to children and young people. Rammstein and the label lawyered up and filed motions in several instances and finally won a judgment in their favor after 6 months the song was moved from the german index list.
I love this as a piece of showmanship - the chorus is playback, but who really cares? Apparently it took a fair few takes to get Till's vocals for this song. It couldn't be sure that he could do it on tour, so it's pre-recorded. Do we care? I'd say not, it's just a show you wanna see! The man is an incredible performer.

IMO, this and Engel are their two most beutiful sounding songs. But, as you already stated, the lyrics for this song are a little less beautiful. I heard this song was banned on German radio. I got into them after watching their full Volkerball performance that someone uploaded to UA-cam. Absolutely amazing, too bad they ended up blocking it. Too bad for them too. Rammstein aren't exactly a "Radio friendly band". As a matter of fact, "Engel" was the only song of theirs that could be played on German radio, only on rock centered stations of course. I haven't listened to any radio in a long time, so things might have changed and the fact that they now have a song called "Radio" makes it quite hard to google. But yeah, a Rammstein song being banned for German radio is the norm, not the exception.

Y'know the Deutschland Music video got a lot of hate at first in Germany because the German government saw this as offensive towards Germany and they got lots of attention for that what their goal was at the end of the day. They wanted us Germans to not forget our past but don't be ashamed of it either since it formed one of the most economicaly important countries in the world.

Settled in the blue mountains out west of Sydney, we had a house there in the family until like the 60s when it was lost to fire unfortunately. But they were mounted police to stop the bushranger activity in the area. My bio grandfather flew Lancasters in wwII & sadly didn't come back from the war but when I lived in Perth they have a museum for the RAAF & have a rebuilt Lancaster there which I was invited to sit in. It was wholly surreal. And I was older than my grandfather at that point & he was flying them! His squadron (467th iirc) was apparently quite well known for completing missions & the docent guy actually helped me locate pics of my grandfather in their collection so that was a really cool experience. My mum was a nurse fresh out of school as Vietnam was starting to wind up but they sent all the students over as they needed all the help they could get. Mum still has her lieutenants pips somewhere. I HATED history at school, but I hated school to be fair lol. Everything I've learned is always cos I've wanted to.

Rammlied shows Tills singing ability but there are many songs if his thst show his talent. With rammstein, his duo with Peter called, "Lindemann" and his complete solo called "Till Lindemann." He is an incredible actor, singer, poet and writter. He has published books and movies he has acted in (beside his music on stage acting). One hell of a dude

It was honestly a mistake. Im a big Chicago bears fan and we have a player named Charles Tillman. I think I got mixed up and thought his name was Lind Tillman

He was talking about it, like a 12 year old Kid, getting an autograph from Till. Similar happened in an interview with Richard (the Lead guitarist) as they where touring with Kiss. Richard told, that he had even a poster from them on the door of his room and later they where opening up for them. He said, that he tried to stay "cool", but also became a kid, because he was suddenly on tour with them. How can you not love those guys. "Bad-Ass" on stage, but so sweet in "normal live". I am a fan, since I heard "Engel" in 1997 at some Nightclub in Austria, so I had the opportunity to watch, the one or other interview and in this case I am glad, that our native language is also German.
George Fisher aka corpsegrinder of the band cannibal corpse is the same thing, from all i have heard a really nice guy but would not want to see him pissed.

Fun Fact about this song; The Bonn Federal Testing Agency for Media Harmful to Young People put the album on the index because of the song "Ich Tu Dir Weh" and a torture illustration in the booklet. As a result, 55,000 CDs would be destroyed, and the album could no longer be made accessible to children and young people. Rammstein and the label lawyered up and filed motions in several instances and finally won a judgment in their favor after 6 months the song was moved from the german index list.
I love this as a piece of showmanship - the chorus is playback, but who really cares? Apparently it took a fair few takes to get Till's vocals for this song. It couldn't be sure that he could do it on tour, so it's pre-recorded. Do we care? I'd say not, it's just a show you wanna see! The man is an incredible performer.

IMO, this and Engel are their two most beutiful sounding songs. But, as you already stated, the lyrics for this song are a little less beautiful. I heard this song was banned on German radio. I got into them after watching their full Volkerball performance that someone uploaded to UA-cam. Absolutely amazing, too bad they ended up blocking it. Too bad for them too. I wonder how many more people like me would have ended up buying the Volkerball DVD, CD, etc if they hadn't blocked it?
Rammstein aren't exactly a "Radio friendly band". As a matter of fact, "Engel" was the only song of theirs that could be played on German radio, only on rock centered stations of course.
I haven't listened to any radio in a long time, so things might have changed and the fact that they now have a song called "Radio" makes it quite hard to google.
But yeah, a Rammstein song being banned for German radio is the norm, not the exception.

Y'know the Deutschland Music video got a lot of hate at first in Germany because the German government saw this as offensive towards Germany and they got lots of attention for that what their goal was at the end of the day. They wanted us Germans to not forget our past but don't be ashamed of it either since it formed one of the most economicaly important countries in the world.

@@HistoryBuff ha I like my family history, it's pretty cool. Mum's side I'm 6th generation Aussie so my ancestors came out way back when. Settled in the blue mountains out west of Sydney, we had a house there in the family until like the 60s when it was lost to fire unfortunately. But they were mounted police to stop the bushranger activity in the area. My bio grandfather flew Lancasters in wwII & sadly didn't come back from the war but when I lived in Perth they have a museum for the RAAF & have a rebuilt Lancaster there which I was invited to sit in. It was wholly surreal. And I was older than my grandfather at that point & he was flying them! His squadron (467th iirc) was apparently quite well known for completing missions & the docent guy actually helped me locate pics of my grandfather in their collection so that was a really cool experience.
My mum was a nurse fresh out of school as Vietnam was starting to wind up but they sent all the students over as they needed all the help they could get. Mum still has her lieutenants pips somewhere.
I HATED history at school, but I hated school to be fair lol. Everything I've learned is always cos I've wanted to.
