I had 3 notes a 2007 1.4,, 2014 digs and 2017 diesel, the 1.25 digs engine was a fantastic engine and fast enough to scare more powerful cars, the diesel was economical at 70mpg ,cracking cars in their day but now got a bigger car
Surprised to see such a professional review covering everything that should be noted about this vehicle! Nice work, better than what id expect from top gear ;)
An extremely in depth review. Really nice to get so much detail and comparison between main compititor vehicles. I can imagine it being quite a bit of work to also get so many shots of the vehicle from different angles lol. One thing I'd like to know is how easy it is to get in and out for those with mobility issues. My main draw to this vehicle is the rear seat versitility for leg room but also seat height and how much easier it can be for people to get in and out (for OAPs for example).
Very good review as usual! Here in New Zealand we get another variation on this basic car, (ex Japan). It has the front wheels driver via electric motors powered by a battery that is charged as you drive by a petrol motor.! I've been in one, it had very strong acceleration. I think It was called a Nissan note e-power. Again, a interesting and thorough review, many thanks 😊.
I literally just read the RAC review before coming here, and then thought why does this video sound familiar when I know I've never watched it before. Lol
Good friend of mine had the Mark 1 and that thing was cavernous. She used it to haul the matireals(except the sand and stone) to build a 5 room extension to her house(multiple trips yes but not as many as you might think). This mark 2 though, litres is nonsense, she never got the mark 2 because the space to her was smaller for one and 2 , how does this get more cargo space than some 7 seat pickup based SUV's? How does that logically make sense? How does that physically make sense?
@@ka5269 you want to say that, its a free internet. All I am saying that when you measure them and look at the boot practically the Mk1 has more luggage space. The Mk2 is curvier and as such the opening and space within is not as much as the Mk1 which had a tall and square rear. This translated into a larger, square shaped boot area.
@@JC-hu1wd defo more room economical to run get 80 mpg my 6 ft 2 brothers fitted in back loads of legroom hired new shape for week less space cramped interior boot space not as big heavy on steering !! only 40 mpg crap!!
I have the mk1 version, have never tried the mk2 one. One thing I can confirm is, me being 6.2" tall, I can sit so comfortably in the back, alongside with 2 friends.

I feel you, freind of mine who had the mark 1 got a 2012 Rav4 to replace this with, more cavernous than this.
So out of the three, which one do you recommend?
@@JC-hu1wd definitely the 1.25 D.I.G.S for a small engine its got a supercharger

I hope they review this next! Nissan Note e-power 2018-2020/21
Did anyone catch the reference at end: « … other brands will be taking notes! » As per Nissan NOTE.✨Great review!
Thank you

We write the RAC reviews and they often form the basis for our scripts.
Anyone knows how to fold side mirrors automatically?

So this video is misinformation? MK1 has more space?

@mindfreeze0838 I get ya. It does look bigger shape wise
You can basically get the same car while paying far less for it if you buy a Dacia Sandero.
Dacia sandero is good but the tax and insurance is high
Isn't the Note bigger and has better spec?
Just don't get one of the automatic CVT gearbox ones, they're terribly unreliable, I know this first hand!
That bad?
Nissan note gumtree Kent
😊
what is the cost ?? do they sell this in Ukraine ?? If so, how much ???
anybody making cars but china ??
