I would love to see more repair and maintenance videos of this generation of S-Class. Awesome channel!
P.s. Have you tried using a ratcheting wrench in such tight spots before?
Thank you! I do have a video for the front brakes in the future line up! For breaking the bolt loose you may need to double up wrenches if using a ratcheting wrench to get the leverage. I like using ratcheting wrenches after I break the bolt loose and it doesn't easily come out by hand. But in general ratcheting wrenches work great in tight spots, especially a high tooth count wrench!
Good job ❤
Thank you!
Do have the torque spec for rear wheel hub bearing please
Try benzworld or mbworld forums, may find what you need there.
What brand was the first pads?
I installed the Ferodo Brand pads. The ones that got replaced were the Duralast Gold semi metallic. I find the DG semi metallic pads get noisy so I went with an option from FCP Euro, I trust their judgment for quality Euro parts.
Good job where are you from bro
Thanks! I'm out in CA
You left a Painted rotor on and didn't clean the surface come on friend !!!!!!!
Thanks for your comment! The coating on the OEM Mercedes rotors doesn't need to be removed prior to operation. Maybe a Mercedes tech can chime in on what they do at their dealership.
I second this,it does not need to be removed
That is not paint, its a zinc coating that will wear off in 10 miles.
yeah, you clean the cosmoline off, good luck cleaning off the zinc 😁 good job my dude!
