I'm just waiting for a new season pass. Completing the current season pass lowered the fun a lot for me. Before every single succeed mattered cause you'd get rewarded by exp. So even if you never won you still had a sense of progression. Once you complete the pass it's all about winning entire games to rank up the crown pass. Suddenly getting medals doesn't matter at all (but for the one daily mission that requires 4 silver medals in a certain mode). So does qualifying because at the end of the day only victories reward you with something. There's no second place reward. And I think that's kinda against the purpose of the game, which is only about being part of the experience and having fun to me.
The challenges give crown shards instead of xp which is something. And you still get 200 daily kudos from doing them too. But yeah they should also make it to where getting second and third place gives you crown shards too, regardless of whether or not you complete the season pass. Example: Solos: 1st=1crown 2nd=30crownshards 3rd=15crownshards Duos: 1st=35crownshards 2nd=18crownshards 3rd=9crownshards Squads: 1st=20crownshards 2nd=10crownshards 3rd=5crownshards
@@shoobadoo123 your example would be busted, but conceptually I absolutely agree. You should get a reward for every medal no matter your season pass progress. Maybe something along the lines of Bronze: 2 Shards Silver: 4 Shards Gold: 7 Shards. Remember, any Survival game grants you a gold medal. Also the rewards for a squad win could be buffed considering the team is usually doomed once one player rage quits. In the end the crown rank progression is long, tedious and often the rewards are not worth it. I even got Duplicates from it.
