Red Riding Hood : a hunter with a thirst of blood Chicken : a dragon with the look of a goose vomiting explosive eggs Giant Blunderbore : wife of a tyrannic king who is a gigantic doll. Snow white : captain with a mask Peter pan : a demon locked himself in a dark bubble with his shadow (a smart representation of the syndrome of peter pan). Pinocchio : a golem made of shipwreck controlled by his father/doctor who hates fairies. The little mermaid : a collection who want people to be amazed by her body. Princess : a Mantis disguised as a princess to eat any people who tried to "rescue" her (that is smart because mantis actually eating their husbands when they are pregnant. this girl is actually waiting for a husband and when he's ducked, she grab him and eat him). Dragon : a transformation of Merlin to get rid of the nightmares. Fairy : a bowl of light with a girl looking form. I personally think that this character is the representation of a growing up Alice. The ideas for these bosses are so amazing. The animations are not impressive, but the story still nice.

But when you stop and think about it, it’s super clever. It made both of the protagonists villains as they were mixed with the other character’s villain. Snow White mixed with Captain Hook which maybe wasn’t as in depth, but I love Peter Pan mixed with the Evil Queen. It actually makes sense, as the Queen is obsessed with being the most beautiful, which would entail looking young, and Peter Pan is the boy who never grew up. Jack became king of the giants, and took one as a wife... then developed a taste for human flesh. Snow White instead of being an ignorant girl, took to the high seas, gathering her crew of dwarves Peter Pan became a necromancer and performed forbidden rituals for immortality. Killing the Lost Boys for the Philosopher's Stone. Geppeto asking for a child, but when the heavens denied him his wish, he made one. Turning him mad and disconnected Aerial desired to walk, but no one helped, so she charmed everyone with her voice. Enslaved all to do her bidding. Aurora laid in wait for the one to wake her up, only to have a trap setup for prey to come to her. Merlin turned dark, knowing that the light was trying to hurt his charge. And Lighty... Tinkerbell that had enough with being toyed with, so she turned arcane, and wrought destruction on the Dreamlands. Man... the villains' in these stories just make it a nice setting around a campfire. Welp, you either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become a villain.
Actually, Lighty may Actually be a representation of a nightlight that Alicia had but grew out of. She was a ment to give security in the darkness, but now bears the darkness as a weapon.

I'm getting some Madoka Magica vibe here. The so-called magical partner betraying the hero and abandoning him/her. I was expecting a much darker ending: The real villains would be abusive parents that Teddy would be powerless against.

good news you do not need to restart the game, you can go back uo that hill you fell down, try a few times to jump up and eventually you will land halfway up and get a chance to quickly jump again. I spammed the jump button and also used the bow to shoot, and somehow it allowed to to jump again and get back.to the toon What a relief, thought I'd have to restart the entire game again.
Who else thought Lighty pierced Teddy by accident? Like, it's not easy to orientate when you're inside someone the whole time. I thought she wanted to deliver the final blow with Teddy, because she never did it ("I wanna share some feelings with you!") but she forgot that she was fueling his blades and accidentally messed up. Like, she was sooo nice to him all our journey, I even managed to emotionally connect them (which doesn't happen often, I don't know why)

Also for some reason I connect with this game, as a person that has high functioning autism with High anxiety and occasional night terrors I have a whole army of stuffed animals that are my guardians including a bear that my dad has given me that he used to have when he was a child and they all serve to keep me safe. so far what I have on my bed are two dragons, a bear, A cat pillow, a raccoon pillow, a stuffed Marinie (Pokémon) and a stuffed stitch so yeah let’s just say that if I do have any nightmares they are going to be ducked ten ways from Sunday 🤣
If a sequel was made, it should be a beat-em-up game with a 2 Player with the villain being a corrupted version of the girl Teddy's trying to protect. It's a free roam, open world 2d adventure. It's books and toys trying to corrupt the girl and Teddy will be the one to free her

I think Lighty isn't a part of the faerie tales at all. My own thought is that it represents what the "outside world" says and harsh "reality." Opinions, words spoken and unspoken, etc.
This looks like hollow knight but instead of playing as a bug you play as a teddy bear with scissors a bow and what seems to be a battle axe for weapons

@@zhuiwie8488 My point is that the bosses are too simple not that they are easy. Just take a look, almost every boss is three phases where they only add about one new attack at the end. I'm saying that the bosses don't do as much as they could or really should with their concepts.
I cant defeat the pirate boss. I guess i dont have the skill that can make me float with fairy dust, i also cant leave the boss area so there is no way of teleporting. Any solutions? I feel like im going.to be forced to restart the game.
For anyone stuck at the pirate boss because you have not defeated the fairy queen yet and cannot use the fairy dust to fly, you do not have to restart the game. If you die and respawn in the pirate area boss, you can run back and after multiple attempts of trying to climb back up the 'hill', you will land on an area of the hill that will allow you to do a double jump again to go back to the treasure area.
When I first saw this game, I thought the big twist was that Alicia was going through an edgy cynical phase or something… I liked how it actually turned out.
I'm playing this game on xbox and im stuck on this boss after she shoots the cannons and u have to jump into the fairy dust it won't let me like I can't do it ive unrivaled the game started over but nope can't progress im really sad about this I hope they fix this issue I really like this game 😔😔
Have you killed all the tooth fairies before fighting Captain Snowwhite? The first wish that Genie asks you is to kill all the tooth fairies. While you do encounter this enemies during the entire Level, you have to go to a certain location (which I think is the fairies nest) where you would have to kill all the fairies there, including their Queen. Once that's done, the Genie will reapear, telling you that you have granted his first wish, and you will unlocked the ability to fly through the Fairy dust; then he will tell you to go kill Captain Snowwhite. Apparently, there's no certain order to do the first two wishes, but I do suggest doing the first wish before fighting Captain Snowwhite. Oh yeah, one thing I forgot to mention. In order to get to the Fairies' nest, you have to get the Axe weapon first to open the path that leads there.
@@chelsielorencz7619 Yeah, I think the developers did not account these circunstances. Once you have the Axe, you now have to search the entrance to the Fairies' nest; you would have to follow the sings directions for that. And also, the Genie only appears everytime you have fuffilled any of his wishes. Don't expect him to give you an idea to where to go.

@@chelsielorencz7619 You're welcome. Just follow the sings in the Level. They tell you which direction are certain things. Also you'll need a lot of patience in this Level, cause it's free roam.
I swear this is just the same way God of War lore are, where they are still historically based on how people made them but the devs rewrite the character as evil instead
Lighty felt hurt and betrayed because Alicia didn’t need her anymore (it seems that Lighty is a nightlight, like the dream guardians are toys). Therefore, she decided to take revenge on Alicia, unlike Teddy, who felt pretty bitter at the beginning but still cared deep down. Basically, Lighty began hating Alicia because she cast her aside. I hope that this helps.

To be honest that's what makes this game completely interesting. Because it mixes classics together from 2 stories It's the same. time
I was also not expecting Pinocchio to be a mech, which can be considered a puppet in the sense that it needs someone to control it.

its not easy going back up, but its possible. 2 minutes of jumping up against the hill and I could go back to other areas of the map to get the dust

I think Lighty isn't a part of the faerie tales at all. My own thought is that it represents what the "outside world" says and harsh "reality." Opinions, words spoken and unspoken, etc.

Why do you need a very difficult boss in a game where some silly teddy fights in a dream?
@@zhuiwie8488 My point is that the bosses are too simple not that they are easy. Just take a look, almost every boss is three phases where they only add about one new attack at the end. I'm saying that the bosses don't do as much as they could or really should with their concepts.

I cant defeat the pirate boss. I guess i dont have the skill that can make me float with fairy dust, i also cant leave the boss area so there is no way of teleporting. Any solutions? I feel like im going.to be forced to restart the game.
For anyone stuck at the pirate boss because you have not defeated the fairy queen yet and cannot use the fairy dust to fly, you do not have to restart the game. If you die and respawn in the pirate area boss, you can run back and after multiple attempts of trying to climb back up the 'hill', you will land on an area of the hill that will allow you to do a double jump again to go back to the treasure area.
This game was made by someone who played Ocarina of Time and muted the game so they could shut Navi up
This game has been pretty damn awesome to me. Some of the controls are kinda funky but still an overall good game.

When I first saw this game, I thought the big twist was that Alicia was going through an edgy cynical phase or something… I liked how it actually turned out.
I'm playing this game on xbox and im stuck on this boss after she shoots the cannons and u have to jump into the fairy dust it won't let me like I can't do it ive unrivaled the game started over but nope can't progress im really sad about this I hope they fix this issue I really like this game 😔😔
Have you killed all the tooth fairies before fighting Captain Snowwhite? The first wish that Genie asks you is to kill all the tooth fairies. While you do encounter this enemies during the entire Level, you have to go to a certain location (which I think is the fairies nest) where you would have to kill all the fairies there, including their Queen. Once that's done, the Genie will reapear, telling you that you have granted his first wish, and you will unlocked the ability to fly through the Fairy dust; then he will tell you to go kill Captain Snowwhite. Apparently, there's no certain order to do the first two wishes, but I do suggest doing the first wish before fighting Captain Snowwhite.
Oh yeah, one thing I forgot to mention. In order to get to the Fairies' nest, you have to get the Axe weapon first to open the path that leads there.
@@JairoLeyn100 I have got the axe but I have only seen the genie once honestly I had no idea how was I sapose to know that 😬
@@chelsielorencz7619 Yeah, I think the developers did not account these circunstances. Once you have the Axe, you now have to search the entrance to the Fairies' nest; you would have to follow the sings directions for that. And also, the Genie only appears everytime you have fuffilled any of his wishes. Don't expect him to give you an idea to where to go.
@@JairoLeyn100 I know I Uninstalled the game started it over I was so confused because there is no way to beat the captain snowhite without doing that in the beginning I remember him saying he wanted to fly I killed all the fires I could along the way and I didn't know there was a queen and I just made it to the boss but thank u for helping me im going to give it another go today and try what u said
@@chelsielorencz7619 You're welcome. Just follow the sings in the Level. They tell you which direction are certain things. Also you'll need a lot of patience in this Level, cause it's free roam.

I swear this is just the same way God of War lore are, where they are still historically based on how people made them but the devs rewrite the character as evil instead

Lighty felt hurt and betrayed because Alicia didn’t need her anymore (it seems that Lighty is a nightlight, like the dream guardians are toys). Therefore, she decided to take revenge on Alicia, unlike Teddy, who felt pretty bitter at the beginning but still cared deep down. Basically, Lighty began hating Alicia because she cast her aside. I hope that this helps.

How did you go back to get the ability? Im stuck in the boss fight. Every time I die, I respawn in the boss area with no way of going back

Damn, A Red Riding Hood that love blood, A Robotic Golden Goose, A King Jack with a Giantess Wife, A Pirate Captain Snow White, A Pied Piper Peter Pan with a Twisted Entity for a Shadow, A Dr. Frankensteins Geppetto and his Frankensteins’ Monster Pinocchio, A Monstrous Egotistical Ariel, A Mantis Aurora and A Dragon who’s scales can only be harmed by Fire?! Alicia may be a kid but she must have one twisted imagination if she chooses THESE guys as her guardians, I mean the Cat’s cool, but c’mon, the others guys are just wrong. (NO HATE towards the game though, it’s awesome and so is it’s story)
