What really struck me was just how much of a character Thanos became. He was very angry at Gamora for lying, stating clearly he never taught her that, and when other would beg him to spare their lives in exchange for the infinity stones, help, information, etc, he would do it. Say what you will about him being evil, but adding a moral code really made him shine IMO. He respected stark and and was more than just a meathead.
Definitely does give me something for me to care about the character. I do agree about the Hulk, I know most of it will be redeemed in the sequel. After Ragnorak, what does Thor have left? He has a hammer/axe again but no Loki he mostly likely will be back but the many of the Thor scenes were downright depressing in a good way. And Red skull. I actually said holy shit and the guy next to me exclaimed the same we were both pretty shocked after about how he just came back.
Camden Allard I absolutely loved when he looked at Starlord and was like “I like you” and teleported away. It really drove home that he wasn’t here to kill everyone and be a dick, he was just trying to make sure nobody suffered the way he did. Sure he could have killed Drax and mantis and Starlord, he could have killed Tony after getting the time stone, he could have killed even Loki right away but was hearing him out before having to kill him to save his own life. He spared people and had admiration and respect and honor. He didn’t kill just to kill or be a typical dick villain. He strategically took lives and it was fucking brilliant.
One of my big complaints in this was how pathetically weak Vision was, for no given reason whatsoever. Every 1v1 fight he had he lost badly, what happened to mega OP vision?

Hulk refused to doing anything because he was sulking over Thanos straight up beating his ass. Plus, I think the film’s intent was for Banner to have his shining moment by finally doing something physical without hiding behind Hulk for once. But yeah, still… I was waiting for that big Hulk redemption scene too, but it never came.
Tom Holland did a great job he made me cry with those last few lines. Apparently he last two lines were off script and were just added in by him. And if that's true that was a good choice on his part.
I agree that Hulk was disappointing, but they did hint at why he wouldn't come out. He got his ASS handed to him by Thanos right at the beginning, first time he's really just gotten straight up manhandled... ever.
But the hulk should just get more angry from being defeated and stronger and more angrier, he is not the one to just give up. Oh well it is a different hulk I guess.
Hulk has never truly been beaten before in the mcu.Hes been knocked around a few times but never really defeated.Thanos did that to him in 30 seconds. This I think is the main reason he refuses to come out. There is also a possible element of banner only calling on hulk when he needs him like at the end of Thor which might be played off in the future
ben duggan That's one big distinction between comic Hulk and movie Hulk. Comic Hulk is almost unbeatable, he just gets stronger the more angry he gets. You beat him out = He gets angrier = He gets stronger/faster etc.
I like the fact they didn't make Thanos completely perfect. He got beat up, he didn't see things coming, he seemed like if he were a good guy he too would have a hard time beating the villain. It's almost like they were humanising him for a bigger villain, like galactus? ._.
True, that spiderman scene really got me. I actually felt a piece of my soul die. As a teen, still contemplating my future and with still soo much things to experience and see, i wouldnt want to die before doing so. His acting made it relatable for me. Hard.
To me, Thanos' henchmen getting killed from behind made them better. It showed just how difficult they were to fight and that they were almost too strong for them.
Tom Holland honestly had me sold during the rubble scene in Homecoming. But his last few seconds in this movie is some of the best acting I've seen. Dude solidified his name as the real OG.
It's unreal how much I agree with your reviews and opinions on movies/games.... *spoiler alert*... Tom Holland's performance as spiderman has been immaculate, easily the best spiderman. But the end you could feel his terror and you felt absolutely terrible for him... the ending was incredible. Spiderman has been my favorite since I was a little kid, and it really tugged on the heart strings..
I don't agree with you on the pacing, I think it was great. The movie didn't feel like it was 2.5 hours. The most dissapointing for me was what they did to Starlord. I get that he's supposed to be immature but the thing he did just doesn't sit right with me. I love his character but now thanks to that one scene everyone hates the guy...
I mean...hes naturally a very emotional person who doesnt think before acting, add that with his girl who he loves dying when they were fresh into a relationship and boom. Though he is ultra stupid
I mean they did outsmart thnos's alien prohet guy by using the old aliens movie logic. And peter's plan to try and grab the gaunlet almost worked they totally tried
Smonkk yeah I don’t like the fact that everything in this movie can be boiled down to “this wouldn’t have happened if starlord didn’t loose his control “
I expected a dark ending and even my edgy pessimistic ass was surprised with how dark they went. I also went in with nearly no expectations and think that helped it along with not watching any trailers, so some of the big moments weren’t spoiled at all.
inferno445games FUCKING SAME. *SPOILERS* When they took out Spider-Man and I truly saw his fear I fucking applauded and hated marvel (only hating because they made me watch his innocent ass die)
Actually the things that were shown in the trailers were actually changed in order to not spoil the viewers about some things, it’s actually pretty cool that they did that and I’d recommend watching them now and comparing what they showed to what they showed in the movie
Ever since Batman V Superman I learned to avoid trailers. I only watch the first trailer and hold off from watch anymore. I think it's totally worth it when you finally watch the movie.
Wakka They even edited the number of Infinity Stones in the gauntlet and put hulk where he wasn't, that was amazing. Marvel are really playing the game of no spoilers, I'm not a marvel fanboy, but god damn.
You talk about pacing issues, but this movie felt shorter than Age Of Ultron. Stuff was actually happening that was memorable and exciting in this movie.
UltimateKyuubiFox Gonna have to agree here. I actually complemented the movie's flow and complete lack of boring moments. It was 2.5 hours but I was hoping for another hour.
Yeah I actually have no idea what Charlies talking about this movie might have the best pacing ive ever seen in any movie. A 3 movie that flys by and keeps you glued to the screen the entire time. I dont know how he can say theres pacing issues honestly, I was insanely impressed with how they handled it considering the massive amounts of big characters and other sub plots they had. Honestly the pacing of this movie might be the best part lmao
Would be amusing, although if half of everyone vanished, then it would probably cause a calamity and many people would die until order is restored. The fact is everyone would be traumatized by seeing half of the world's population turning into dust before their eyes. With his power, Thanos could have solved people's problems instead of solving problems by getting rid of people. :P
See that's why Thanos is a good villian. In his mind he believes that he's the hero. Instead of being a death obsessed mad titan like in the comics he actually has feelings and doesn't want to meaninglessly kill.
That’s what I think, too. I guess it might have been underwhelming for long-time Marvel fans. But as someone who watched Age of Ultron as their second Marvel movie ever, I didn’t think it was as terrible as people made it out to be.
As someone who never lost a fist fight got his ass handed to him so easily. So of course his ego was hurt and he is scared of thanos. And I think that was ingenious. Next avengers, Bruce might do some pep talk to Hulk and finally both of them will understand each other better and they will start to respect each other.
P.I Staker. There’s a comic showing a smart hulk. Pretty much Bruce with full control over hulk. I know it won’t make it to the big screen but it would be nice
The hulk was kinda disappointing but he did have a reason not to come out. Thanos beat the shit out of him, hulk is a kid in a titans body and has never lost a fight. If this were comic book planet breaker genius level hulk he would've won but once again it's a child. The thing with the beating the big bads dishonestly was part of what I liked. In the past marvel movies we've had too many fightscenes where like you said one guy Jacks off the other until someone magically is stronger and beats the other guy. Do you write a character to be stronger than another? How do you go about doing that. Would thanos be stronger than hulk automatically, invulnerable to his punches and whooping him no matter how hard hulk tried *or* be on par and simply use smarter fighting techniques to beat him. It's obvious what makes a better, unique fight scene. Part of what made this movie so great is that thanos and his big bads can be killed and are vulnerable, instead of being impervious to damge, having to be killed by a single op attack or generic fight. The fights are high stakes and have actual consequence. This was a deliberate change that was conveyed early on when squidward was cut on the side of his head. I was honestly surprised when seeing that because before this it'd be that either you got hit only to proceed to brush it off or you get hit hard enough to die. the scene at Titan with the GOTG and iron man portrayed this change perfectly. The entire team used every bit of strength and skill they had to beat thanos, not hurt him but outsmart him. If he were kept asleep and the gauntlet was taken it would've been over. Thanos is too strong to be killed 1 on 1. Imagine if instead of that scene we had thor come in with hulk and they just out strengthed him. Lame. The marvel universe has needed to evolve since thor 1 and this is the change it needed. Anyone like to discuss I honestly want new perspectives it's interesting to look at these movies and what makes them great
Just a fan disney doesn't know what the fuck they are doing with hulk, they are making him seem like this peice of shit that just gets kicked around, thor could probably win against this hulk, its absolute crap
I did read somewhere that one of the directors of the movie commented that the reasoning behind hulk's small appearances is that they didn't want him to come in and just stop an enemy with sheer strength alone, as you said, lame. So to make it where Banner himself must fight instead of relying on hulk's brute strength was good character development, and kept the empty usage of hulk coming out when they needed him most from happening was a good break from the easy path of that, regardless that hulk had less screen time. but I would like to have the appearance of the hulk in the second part to be greater.
My prediction for the next movie is that hulk makes his triumphant ass-blasting return, and gets planet breaker mode somehow and fucks thanos in the ass
Until Thanos Hulk was biggest Bully in universe. He beat to shit out everything he come across and grow a Planet size Ego😊.But After Thanos arrived and beat to Bully , Hulk taste to fear and pull his Shell.
C'mon; Age of Ultron wasn't bad. It's on the lower end as far as Marvel movies go, but it was still an enjoyable movie. The Hulk obviously didn't come out because he was afraid of Thanos. Hulk, for the first time, found someone he couldn't overpower, and that scares the hell out of him. He's like a kid mentally, and he's unwilling to face the boogeyman.
i noticed charlie either really doesnt like movies or really like them lol. its never in between. age of ultron was alright it was important to the mcu
The Hulk is also basically a child mentally. He was like a child throwing a temper tantrum and prior to this point, nobody had been able to stop him. Thanos stepping up was like Daddy pulling out the belt. You're damn right Hulk is scared stiff.
Justin Y. Dude wtf , that isnt what happens. Goku black helps thanos to beat up saitama and regular goku. And then kevin eleven gave the soul stone to thanos at about the 4.5 hour mark .
Ali- O i can see people thinking maguire is better, but by golly do they rank 1000 tiers higher than garfield. dude is an amazing actor, but the worst possible choice to cast as spider-man.
Beta is a made up concept that doesn't even apply to a Wolf Pack. However cowards exist, and anyone who thinks it's strong to not show emotion nor cry is a coward.
there was a kid next to me in the movie who looked like he was on the verge of a breakdown near the end because he though that there want a post credits scene, and the final scene just made him feel so much worse
The plot setup really reminded me of Super Smash Bros Brawls campaign. Huge roster of people we love mixed up into seemingly random groups fighting the same battle.
Chicken Permission If you've seen the Marvel movies during Phase 1-2, you'll know most of them were trash and don't really have good reviews. In the Iron Man series, only the first was favored the most. In Thor, it was Ragnarock and the other 2 movies were bad. But one thing's for sure is that their movies are getting better starting at Phase 3 (not the best, just good enough)
The ending pissed me off till I remembered when DR Strange said “this was the only way” before disappearing I believe this is all apart of the plan and I’m so hyped for the next one to see what plays out
I think he was disappointed in what they did with the Hulk because they didn't actually explain what was happening in the movies. I just assumed that the Hulk was being a big baby because he lost in a fight to Thanos. Did they ever actually establish that that's what happened? Nah. It could have easily gone over your head.
Considering Banner/Hulk are still alive in this film and we know there'll be a part two, I do believe Hulk will have a rematch with Thanos and go world breaker for the first time on the big screen.
Been waiting for this review. I'm kinda burned out on superhero movies after, what, a decade now? But your review made me consider watching this one, which is surprising.
Well, I just wanna say if you've been burned out on Superhero movies, if that means you havent seen any of the other MCU movies, i wouldnt go see this. You probably won't understand a thing about what's going on
had high expectations, and it very much delivered. great movie. i felt like i couldn’t catch a break from thanos. action packed and a refresh to the avengers. i can say i’m excited for the next one. i really recommend it.
harki leckerleigh "It was the only way" Dr.Strange let him do it becuase everything that happened had to happen to make that 1 in 14 million chance of winning long term work.
Yeah really. I mean when does the Hulk get knocked out... EVER? Let alone within 30 seconds of a fight starting? Hulk is either scared, or trying to figure out a way to fight Thanos and doesn't want to get dragged out. Hell maybe both. Thor Ragnarok did us a great service by making the MCU Hulk more complex.
I didn't have a problem with what they did to Hulk, it gave a moment for other characters to shine and I was Glad to see Ruffalo be the main focus for the character, plus the hulk is a pouty child that has won continuously for 2 years and he's bubble has been burst and he's terrified of this so it falls into he's character But yeah I feel what Star Lord did was just wow what a bitch like I saw the film twice and I was madder the second time for what he did. I believe he didn't fall out of character but I think marvel shot themselves in the foot because I'm not sure I'll be able to like him as a character again
I disagree, actually. Dr Strange saw all possible outcomes, and saw only a 1 in something like 14 thousand or million or whatever outcome where everything turned out favorably. Getting the Gauntlet off of Thanos was not that low of a probability, and Strange mentions after Thanos gets the Time Stone that this was "endgame" and "the only way," implying that the path they're on leads to the one favorable future. Thor earlier mentions that weapons made by the Dwarves, such as the Infinity Gauntlet, would Lovecraft the minds of those without bodies strong enough to wield them. Getting the Gauntlet off of Thanos wouldn't mean that they could use it, but it would give Thanos the opportunity to quickly and easily kill at least one of them after he woke up. I'm betting that the only reason for that entire fight was to buy time for Thor. Thor had to get Stormbreaker in time to confront Thanos in Wakanda - because Stormbreaker is immune to the Infinity Gauntlet. Right now, Thor is the hardest counter to Thanos that we know of, and if Thor finds him again and kills him we already know that he can wield the Gauntlet because he's Asgardian.
This isnt correct Dr Strange lets starlord do that since he knows its the only outcome where they win. The only winning outcome is letting thanos win so they can reassemble the team with iron man and call captain marvel. Dr Strange new that stopping starlord would in some way lead to a loss. either now or later in years. In some way it would lead to a worser outcome What starlord did is what anyone would do. He was given the choice to kill the one he loved and then had it ripped away from him. Then hours later he finds it all to be meaningless and her to be killed anyway. The dude lost what he cared most about and had it ripped from him twice. Poor dude
Thanos said "he had to" Just like Ego did when he revealed he put cancer in StarLords mom His reaction is justified by losing yet ANOTHER woman he loved to someone else trying to justify the murder
I think Star Lord's reaction was reasonable, for lack of a better word. He just realized the guy in front of him murdered the love of his life. True, he could've waited until the gauntlet was off before hitting Thanos, but he had no self control because of his blind rage in that moment
You can blame Starlord for Thanos winning, but honestly I think everyone else deserves blame too. There were tons of heroic person for stone sacrifices where nobody could, or was willing to, see the bigger picture. All of those sacrifices were ridiculously terrible decisions, but when you're the Avengers, you can defeat anyone, right?
Axel - Lite I was sad that the fact that they didn’t use their swear word by saying no shit Sherlock seeing as Benadryl and RDJ were in the same scenes together.
When I was a child my favorite superhero was Spider-Man. He was crush and my idol. Later in life I stopped having this much of a love for him I found different things to obsess about. When I was in the movie theatre and seen Spider-Man in THAT scene my child version took over in the chair and my heart shattered. You worded it the best I genuinely felt like Tom Holland couldnt replace Tobey Maguire and I was scared to give him a chance. That scene won over my child side. It won over every side of me.
JayBe That's called not spoiling the movie while still hyping up the audience you doofus. Also I really dislike the hulk character so that's no loss in my opinion.
XyW would it have really mattered if the Hulk did come out? I don’t think it’s that big of a deal that he didn’t. But they put him on all the advertising and stuff. They literally showed evidence that something happens in the movie that just didn’t happen. You’re able to “not spoil a movie” without outright showing people that something will happen which doesn’t actually happen. It’s called suggestion.
Just re-watched it for the first time in a few years, and wow. It holds up a lot better than I remember, all the marvel fatigue lately definitely made me think this movie was less good, shit. It’s really a masterpiece. Holland‘s performance at the end was also so brutal
Dwayne Johnson People praise it for far more than it was. With that said, I do think it's a great movie though. I do find it annoying though that people compare superhero movies just because they have superheroes in them. TDK and the marvel movies are so different I don't see the point in comparing them. I'd much rather watch Infinity War and I enjoyed it way more than TDK, I felt that there were more great moments that had me hooked than TDK but as a standalone movie I don't think I would have liked it as much since you need to know what happened in the previous movies. TDK as a standalone movie is better but, at least for me, Infinity War was way more exciting to watch.
The best thing about this movie was Thanos and the unique team ups that each set of heroes had, it had a nice balance of off world cosmic stuff and Earth based stuff. Thanos definitely lived up to the 10 years of hype, and it was refreshing how driven yet also reasonable he was towards his goal, he wasn't trying to "Rule the Galaxy with an iron fist!". He was simply trying to right a perceived wrong that he had identified and he even says how his method of balancing the universe is completely random and without emotion or spite. Between Thanos and Killmonger Marvel have single handedly reinvigorated the concept of a "Comic book movie villain", as both villains are sympathetic and empathic from an audience stand point and their actions are extreme but they also have a reasonable position that is almost admirable.
Re-writing Thanos' goals and removing Death pisses me off. The coolest thing about Thanos in the comics is his infatuation toward the aspect of Death. Seeing how authors use the idea of Life and Death in a sort of Ying and Yang in the Marvel universe is a cool idea. If either Life or Death reign supreme you create chaos or nothingness. Oh well infinity gauntlet will never reach the ridiculously large scale of the comics because they need to dumb down the story for the masses. It's all so sadly predictable. Tony and Steve will work together and Steve will put on the gauntlet to reverse all the damage caused by Thanos... the end. I can't wait to cringe.
+lavisblade "Cringe"? ... so you're complaining that a dumb comic book movie based on a dumb comic book is too dumb for you? I liked comic books (like most people I grew up with them) but let's be real here, they're not works of great literature. They're stories where people in capes and animal themed costumes fight space aliens and interdemensional monsters, they're popcorn entertainment for kids and teenagers, and these films are exactly that, they're Summer Blockbusters with the sole purpose of entertaining people with spectacle and interesting visuals. Also why would you expect the MCU version of Infinity War to be a direct translation of the comics Infinity Gauntlet arc? The MCU doesn't have the X-Men, Thane, Silver Surfer, Inhumans, Namor, She-Hulk, The Fantastic Four, Nova and Adam Warlock is being held back for GotG3. So why would you expect them to faithfully adapt a story when they don't have access to over half the cast of that story? Also introducing Mistress Death into the MCU when they literally just had Hela the Goddess of Death in Thor Ragnarok would confuse the general audience, as most people would conflate both characters with one another and it would just be unnecessarily confusing. Having Thanos be less concerned with impressing his crush and more concerned with persuing his misguided solution to the over population of the universe, was far more interesting, as there are certain things that come across as far too goofy when attempting to adapt a comic to live action. Having your main villain being some friend zoned sycophant as opposed to a misguided sociopath would have made the MCU Thanos seem like a pathetic idiot. For instance in The Dark Knight, if the Joker was only doing everything that he does in that movie in order to impress Poison Ivy, then you'd look at him like he's a pathetic moron. It's one of the main criticisms of TDKR's Bane, that once you find out he's only doing everything for Talia, that it takes out alot of that characters edge and he becomes less interesting because of it.
I think they nailed deaths pretty well in this, hero wise. They hit hard. I, as a big fan of Guardians of the Galaxy and their actors portraying them, genuinely felt sad for their deaths. Spiderman was my childhood hero, and the innocence Tom Holland portrayed really hit hard, and I know it will have a huge effect on Iron Man next movie. I am a little bit upset that Star Lord was so much of a loose cannon here, I mean I expected him to attack Thanos for killing Gamora however he was always very immature with some brief periods of maturity, though that is his character design. I wish Thanos's adopted kids were a little more detailed and to be honest all seem like new races though that isn't new considering Gamora is the last of her kind. They were also genuinely annoying and I hated them. Thanos, however, I believed is the best villain Marvel has created, and I understand and can reason with his idea, and I believe many realists will side with it. He was the opposite of what the heros were, he saw that Life is not a utopia and that losses must be accepted in order for life itself to survive, though he did give away his humanity in doing so and lost basic morality. However, this can be portrayed as a hero as he ensured that, to the end, that through out all sacrifices made, that he accomplished what he aimed to do. And thats something. Black Panthers death was kind of emotionless, of him just crawling and then disappearing with no real reaction to it besides those near him. I loved it, however, and I cannot wait till the next movie and to see the Galaxies reaction.
Monsieur Sir I agree, except gamora isn’t the last of her kind. Thanos killed half the population, and left the other half to flourish. He told her this in the movie
That's the thing, getting it off is not the end of the fight - I guess Doctor Strange has foreseen that if Starlord doesn't do what he did, there's some other way that Thanos will come out on top and perhaps he'll be so mad that he actually murders some of the heroes on the Titan planet making it virtually impossible to save the universe after the snap.
Best MCU film yet. Best Comic Studio Film yet. I I actually like what they did with Hulk. Hulk is genuinely terrified of Thanos. And Thanos’ children are STRONG. They had to out smart them and fight dirty because they literally couldn’t beat them otherwise. Read the comics, you’ll understand.
I agree about the pacing, but I thought the Hulk was kinda reminescent of how he appeared in Ragnarok, which I thought was cool. I rrally liked Peter Dinklage's role for how short it was
I think my all time favorite scene is when captain america block thanos after he’s beaten the other heroes how this human who is modified blocks this strike from not only a titan but a titan wielding 5 infinity stones
In regards to the Hulk, I think he got all butt hurt about losing to Thanos in the beginning that he just didn’t want to fight anymore. So more than likely in part 2 he will get get a cool moment when he finally comes back.
Considering that this movie is generally a breeze to go through, despite the runtime, and how it manages to be coherent, even with the various plot threads that are involved, i would say the pacing was very satisfying.
When I said "best superhero movie I've seen" I didn't take into account The Dark Knight trilogy. Those are still the best from the superhero genre. When I said best superhero movie, I meant from the actual comic studios

What about Logan?

Luke Edwards what?

Christian Contreras I saw drax in the movie

Plus, I think the film’s intent was for Banner to have his shining moment by finally doing something physical without hiding behind Hulk for once. But yeah, still… I was waiting for that big Hulk redemption scene too, but it never came.
Olivia Martin my hope is in the sequel hulk will come out in full on planet buster mode and get his shining moment
Ryan B Yessss! Here's hoping that happens since the OG Avengers are the only guys left, and what would they be without the Hulk? haha
they'd be screwed thats what
Just wait for part 2. The hulk scene you’re waiting for is on the way
It never came just like me.
Tom Holland did a great job he made me cry with those last few lines. Apparently he last two lines were off script and were just added in by him. And if that's true that was a good choice on his part.
They knew it was improv, they just told him to act like he doesnt wanna die and he did the rest
Do you mean "Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good"?
That is false it was in the script
@@jackwestman3149 lol
AmazingAmari400 lol ur adopted
I agree that Hulk was disappointing, but they did hint at why he wouldn't come out. He got his ASS handed to him by Thanos right at the beginning, first time he's really just gotten straight up manhandled... ever.
xxkillslayer4457 plus he thinks like a baby so he was scared as shit XD
Papa Thanos took out his belt, now baby Hulk is too scared to come out and play
idk about scared; just pouting.
But the hulk should just get more angry from being defeated and stronger and more angrier, he is not the one to just give up. Oh well it is a different hulk I guess.
yeah this is also true. i think he became a different hulk after he was sent into space and appeared in ragnarok.
Goddamn, if Tom Holland goes on the podcast my life will be complete
I would die of happiness.
Normally I would agree but Toby Maguire has a special place in my heart and I would love to see him on the podcast too.
Sidney Isais Then we can find out how often they shoot webs

We old bro...
Hulk has never truly been beaten before in the mcu.Hes been knocked around a few times but never really defeated.Thanos did that to him in 30 seconds. This I think is the main reason he refuses to come out. There is also a possible element of banner only calling on hulk when he needs him like at the end of Thor which might be played off in the future
ben duggan totally agree!!
Agreed. They wanna make sure causual audiences know how how strong Thanos is by immediately beating up Hulk without any of the stones
I also think Banner hasn't been in the films enough so it was nice to get him here
Wow i never thought about it that way
ben duggan
That's one big distinction between comic Hulk and movie Hulk. Comic Hulk is almost unbeatable, he just gets stronger the more angry he gets. You beat him out = He gets angrier = He gets stronger/faster etc.
Thanos was an absolute Unit
I'm in awe at the size of the lad.
G-Unit
And he rolled up with a badass entourage
Frothar spoilers:
The mad man actually did it
Frothar He actually did it! The absolute madman
I like the fact they didn't make Thanos completely perfect. He got beat up, he didn't see things coming, he seemed like if he were a good guy he too would have a hard time beating the villain. It's almost like they were humanising him for a bigger villain, like galactus? ._.
Out of all the villains galactus is one of the most sympathetic
Brand account name I’ve never heard him called sympathetic before, how so?
Kasey Combs hes not really an evil guy, hes a force of nature and has done good things on multiple ocassions
Ooooooh you were so close. It is actually Kang the Conqueror but surprised somebody guessed something like this so far back.
True, that spiderman scene really got me. I actually felt a piece of my soul die. As a teen, still contemplating my future and with still soo much things to experience and see, i wouldnt want to die before doing so. His acting made it relatable for me. Hard.
APairOfPants Yup, right in the feels
APairOfPants He'll be back
rip my spoliers ouch
Alchemyst dawg are you for real right now?
His death scene is the only part of the film that brought the tears from mental to physical manifestation.
To me, Thanos' henchmen getting killed from behind made them better. It showed just how difficult they were to fight and that they were almost too strong for them.
christian velasco Didn’t Cap and co. beat Glaive and Midnight, which was...unexpected
plus they themselves attacked the heroes from the back, like Corvus Glaive hiting Vision from the back
Tom Holland honestly had me sold during the rubble scene in Homecoming.
But his last few seconds in this movie is some of the best acting I've seen. Dude solidified his name as the real OG.

DrunkNSloth I was gonna mention that too, he legitimately seemed terrified, that was some seriously fantastic acting.
Tokatsu Tobey Maguire ftw
DrunkNSloth fuck dude

DrunkNSloth when he keeps saying “i dont want to go yet sir” my heart broke

I don't agree with you on the pacing, I think it was great. The movie didn't feel like it was 2.5 hours. The most dissapointing for me was what they did to Starlord. I get that he's supposed to be immature but the thing he did just doesn't sit right with me. I love his character but now thanks to that one scene everyone hates the guy...
And of course he's gonna get mad since he's never really loved anyone before
I mean...hes naturally a very emotional person who doesnt think before acting, add that with his girl who he loves dying when they were fresh into a relationship and boom. Though he is ultra stupid
@High Definition yes thank you. Finally another person sees that lol. It pissed me off how he behaved but it's not uncharacteristic.
I wish more movies felt long.
I think he'll redeem himself if Gunn gets to actualize the third guardian movie.
I mean they did outsmart thnos's alien prohet guy by using the old aliens movie logic.
And peter's plan to try and grab the gaunlet almost worked they totally tried
Yeah, but weren't those still sneak attacks/ambushes?
Why does it matter anyway?
sokumo tanaka the gauntlet plan would've work if starlord wasn't such a dumb bitch
Pano phobian I'm disapproving their point, I personally didn't have a problem with the heroes' fighting.
*SPOILERS*
When they took out Spider-Man and I truly saw his fear I fucking applauded and hated marvel (only hating because they made me watch his innocent ass die)
Wakka
They even edited the number of Infinity Stones in the gauntlet and put hulk where he wasn't, that was amazing.

Wicha329 after seeing the movie a for a third time the three hours go by in an instant its weird
The scenes that dragged were the ones with Cap.
I agree lol this was almost a 3 hour movie but I thought this movie flew past me it's justbthat incaptivating I always wanted to see what's next!
Wanna see part 2 where it turns out Thanos was right and the world's economy is all good now
Jason Landry That would be an interesting take of the movie
He could save the universe just as he destroyed half.
Tree of life just needed some pruning.
Don't worry about the Asgardians, Kratos would've killed them all anyways
“This was the best superhero I’ve seen”

Age of ultron is really underrated IMO
Proffesor Hulk will debut in Avengers 4. Can’t wait for that.
Wow man you got it spot on
Steeeve Maaadden well it made it to the big screen
@@AV-sd7cq My dude, you nailed it haha!
Thanos is too strong to be killed
1 on 1.
Actually I'm pretty sure he didn't wanto come out because of him being Hulk for a year.
Until Thanos Hulk was biggest Bully in universe. He beat to shit out everything he come across and grow a Planet size Ego😊.But After Thanos arrived and beat to Bully , Hulk taste to fear and pull his Shell.

No joking, thanos is probably my favorite part of the movie (also spiderman was really good)
C'mon; Age of Ultron wasn't bad.
Yeah, I liked Age of Ultron. Not like "OH MY GOD I GOTTA SEE IT AGAIN", it was just a nice tie in between all the movies.
The Hulk is also basically a child mentally. He was like a child throwing a temper tantrum and prior to this point, nobody had been able to stop him. Thanos stepping up was like Daddy pulling out the belt. You're damn right Hulk is scared stiff.
Age of Ultron just introduced the least interesting characters in the lineup. Otherwise it was alright

When's that Marvel fatigue coming? Not any time soon, it seems.
with an ending like THAT, i think they just freshened everything the fuck up lol
As long as they keep making good movies people will watch them, so far for the most part they've been getting better and better
Forget about Marvel fatigue. There's only 1 more year left to end the Avengers story, so enjoy it while it lasts.
I totally had it until I saw this movie. I haven't enjoyed a marvel movie like this since Avengers 1
The ending pissed me off till I remembered when DR Strange said “this was the only way” before disappearing I believe this is all apart of the plan and I’m so hyped for the next one to see what plays out
Really? I thought what they did with the Hulk was really interesting and strengthened the dynamic between Hulk and Banner that was started in Ragnorok
I think he was disappointed in what they did with the Hulk because they didn't actually explain what was happening in the movies. I just assumed that the Hulk was being a big baby because he lost in a fight to Thanos. Did they ever actually establish that that's what happened? Nah. It could have easily gone over your head.
m4r1o148 Of course they did. Hulk gets his ass beat, and he never comes back out. Do they really need to sit us down and explain it?

I was pretty sure Hulk was scared out of his pants by getting his shit beat in by Thanos in the beginning.
It doesnt matter. He already spoiled the whole movie in the video.
Sparda Didn't the hulkbuster knock out hulk? Or am I wrong? My memory is a little foggy
The whole movie is a goddamn roller coaster
I couldn't agree more with everything you said. I'm not even a marvel fan and I loved it
I didn't have a problem with what they did to Hulk, it gave a moment for other characters to shine and I was Glad to see Ruffalo be the main focus for the character, plus the hulk is a pouty child that has won continuously for 2 years and he's bubble has been burst and he's terrified of this so it falls into he's character
But yeah I feel what Star Lord did was just wow what a bitch like I saw the film twice and I was madder the second time for what he did.
This isnt correct
Dr Strange lets starlord do that since he knows its the only outcome where they win. The only winning outcome is letting thanos win so they can reassemble the team with iron man and call captain marvel.
Dr Strange new that stopping starlord would in some way lead to a loss. either now or later in years. In some way it would lead to a worser outcome
What starlord did is what anyone would do. He was given the choice to kill the one he loved and then had it ripped away from him. Then hours later he finds it all to be meaningless and her to be killed anyway. The dude lost what he cared most about and had it ripped from him twice. Poor dude
Thanos said "he had to"
Just like Ego did when he revealed he put cancer in StarLords mom
His reaction is justified by losing yet ANOTHER woman he loved to someone else trying to justify the murder
Many missed opportunities with spider jokes considering Spider-Man and black widow 1/10
Axel - Lite yeah, the film needed more jokes...
Axel - Lite I was sad that the fact that they didn’t use their swear word by saying no shit Sherlock seeing as Benadryl and RDJ were in the same scenes together.
Axel - Lite At least they joked how there's a Spider-Man and an Ant-Man
But the two characters were literally never in the same setting and were worlds apart
How is there any missed opportunities when they didn't even meet throughout the entire movie
I would die for Tom Holland. His scene at the end had me sobbing in the cinema
Been refreshing my feed all day for this
That shit is MOIST
When I was a child my favorite superhero was Spider-Man. He was crush and my idol. Later in life I stopped having this much of a love for him I found different things to obsess about. When I was in the movie theatre and seen Spider-Man in THAT scene my child version took over in the chair and my heart shattered. You worded it the best I genuinely felt like Tom Holland couldnt replace Tobey Maguire and I was scared to give him a chance. That scene won over my child side. It won over every side of me.
That money shot in the trailer was such a cop out. They showed hulk running with captain anusmunch and the wakanadas.
right? i was expecting that scene
We all got beaned
Edgy Veggie you can’t put scenes in a trailer that aren’t in a movie. That’s straight up false advertising. Fuck that shit
Can you add a hall of fame for the moist meter? Like the titles that got the highest scores

Best Superhero Movie? Damnnnnn that's high af prize coming from charlie
Syahmi Radzuan it's right behind the Dark Knight
Kevin Polo u mean in front of The Dark Knight
TDK= overrated joker saved that movie
Fandom Tribal how exactly is it overrated? Care to explain?
Pessimistic comic nerd gets triggered by Infinity war deviating from comics like literally anything else taken from the comics through the years.

"Cringe"? ... so you're complaining that a dumb comic book movie based on a dumb comic book is too dumb for you?
It's one of the main criticisms of TDKR's Bane, that once you find out he's only doing everything for Talia, that it takes out alot of that characters edge and he becomes less interesting because of it.
still the best thing to come out of the mcu.
Chloe Johnson I thought I read on the wiki that she was. Oh well
Monsieur Sir Maybe you read earth 616 gamora instead of earth 199999
He didn't even talk about chris pratt basically causing the death of half the universe
What about Gamora?
Fragmented R well people more so refer to the scene where they almost get the gauntlet off but then he starts messing everything up
well he tried to shoot her though didnt he. Thanos just turned his bullet gun into a bubble gun.
It was all according to Strange's plan, he would have stopped him if he really needed to
That's the thing, getting it off is not the end of the fight - I guess Doctor Strange has foreseen that if Starlord doesn't do what he did, there's some other way that Thanos will come out on top and perhaps he'll be so mad that he actually murders some of the heroes on the Titan planet making it virtually impossible to save the universe after the snap.
josh brolin did a great fucking job playing thanos
Tom is really a great actor
Best MCU film yet. Best Comic Studio Film yet. I
I actually like what they did with Hulk. Hulk is genuinely terrified of Thanos. And Thanos’ children are STRONG. They had to out smart them and fight dirty because they literally couldn’t beat them otherwise. Read the comics, you’ll understand.
Nah the movie was pretty shitty honestly like most super hero movies
@@The_king567 🤨
@@TheBlackSamurai2708 yep 👍
@@The_king567 nah you high lol
@@TheBlackSamurai2708 it’s all facts
I can't believe infinity war was 3 years ago, it feels like it was 1 year ago ngl
Tom Holland is such a legend
I agree about the pacing, but I thought the Hulk was kinda reminescent of how he appeared in Ragnarok, which I thought was cool. I rrally liked Peter Dinklage's role for how short it was
Charlie on Avengers: Age Of Ultron: "It's a really not good movie"
Poor Vision though. Dude never got a break 😂
died twice lmao
*Vision reappears* TO BE CONTINUED (music starts playing)
that was the best part
I think my all time favorite scene is when captain america block thanos after he’s beaten the other heroes how this human who is modified blocks this strike from not only a titan but a titan wielding 5 infinity stones
I love how you get your thoughts across
In regards to the Hulk, I think he got all butt hurt about losing to Thanos in the beginning that he just didn’t want to fight anymore. So more than likely in part 2 he will get get a cool moment when he finally comes back.
KOOBZ1010 or he was traumatised
Theres an ant man and a spiderman??
Considering that this movie is generally a breeze to go through, despite the runtime, and how it manages to be coherent, even with the various plot threads that are involved, i would say the pacing was very satisfying.
can you review Avengers: Infinity War?
YungTony Maybe next year
I think he wont :(

My god darthvader. There are people that genuinely make me believe they just found out about the internet very very recently
DarthVader876 wooooooooosh
It wasn't a choice to sneak up on thanos they had to otherwise he'd be far to powerful to take head on.
rest in peace black panther
Tom Holland part was actually improv so that was one of the most beautiful and wonderful scenes
Hulk was scared of Thanos.
Codeine Crew the Amazing lil' bitch, lol
