Idk about that one man, I hate to say it cuz I love Deadpool, it was awesome to see Hugh Jackman in costume, the cameos were great, but for me It was still just kind of really ok. The action scenes were jampacked but aside from a few they didn’t carry any weight and felt like fluff. Also they made Wolverine so strong he was throwing people through walls, crashing through steel doors with little effort and practically floating all over the place (I could practically see the cables when they were jumping around) Nothing he did felt as intense or raw as that final fight in Logan. Even the final fight in Deadpool 2 was somehow easier for me to suspend my disbelief. I’ll have to give it a rewatch in theatres to see how I really feel, but as of now I didn’t really hate it or love it
first one was really solid but the second one was very underwhelming. I agree with you on the third one though, legitimately one of the most entertaining movies I have ever seen.
Seen it in cinemas 3 times. Great movie. Also, I was intoxicated, so I couldn't understand what was happening the first 2 times. Even though I didn't understand what was happening, I was thoroughly entertained
@@unanimousdecision6107 This movie had the weakest story, but it was more entertaining than number 2. The first one was the best. Ironically, I think Jackman's acting in this movie was some of the best he's done as Wolverine.
Same man- never watched the second, felt the first was really charming but honestly wasn’t a very big fan of the edginess- But this film was so fun and light, while holding the same charm and much less edge. I had a great time! Loved the villains, heroes, and most of the side cast. _(wooi’mbouttamakeanameformyselfyeah)_
This is my favorite Deadpool movie of the three. My husband and I don't usually go see Marvel movies (or any movie for that matter) on opening weekend, but we HAD to see Deadpool and Wolverine before it got spoiled for it. The theatre we were in had immaculate vibes, lots of laughs were had, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. To the point where I eagerly await it to hit streaming so I can rewatch it several times over.
This was my favorite Deadpool. A lot of the cameos did feel like fan service, but they still fit into the narrative. Like characters who never got their own movie after the Fox buyout, "Maybe I was born here", giving them a way to help finish their story.
Ryan Reynolds always plays himself, he's just an interesting person in general, he doesn't need to portray anyone else, he takes roles that he feels he can represent the best by being himself, pretty much always...
9:27 definitely, this movie HAD to have multiversal elements just with what this movie actually IS, this movie is disney plucking deadpool from the fox universe and bringing him over to the mcu universe and bringing A wolverine since the one in logan died with him I think of all the superhero movies this one needed to be a multiverse one the most, and i dont believe up until the final fight the multiverse concepts are TOO central to the movie
Yes! like I enjoyed the multiverse in this movie, it's plot relevant but they didn't go too over board with what they were doing, it focuses mostly of Deadpool and Wolverine while we get some fun cameos and jabs at multiverse oversaturation.
Heres the thing about the Deadpool triology, they're all masterpiece films just in different ways. The first Deadpool was the perfect introduction to the character for new fans while still bringing to life the comics. The 2nd one was a perfect example that Deadpool could work in a bigger film with more characters and keep accurate to the comics. This 3rd one was the perfect Deadpool & Wolverine fanfilm. This film is just as chaotic as plenty of Deadpool comics.
The Deadpool franchise set the bar high, and it's tough to meet those expectations. The action was definitely a highlight, but the narrative felt a bit jumbled at times. Still, the chemistry between Reynolds and Jackman is unbeatable!
honestly for me i felt that the deadpool 3 was the best of the 3. and thats because of Hugh Jackman. if anyone have watch a ryan reynolds movie in the past like 7 years. they would all hear the same humour that ryan has. but wolverine's character was the perfect contrast to deadpool. compared to the contrast of cable/deadpool, colossus/deadpool. in the car scene between deadpool and wolverine, it was the first time in 3 movies deadpool had no comeback or snappy wit. for the first time we saw deadpool take damage (emotional damage). what i mean by that is that deadpool isnt really bother by any physical damage he takes, and he always had a comeback to any witty dialogue. but for the first time, he had nothing. that 1 scene for me was what made deadpool 3 the best of the 3 movies
Seeing comic accurate Wolverine was hilarious and the fact they SERIOUSLY played more into Wolverines animalistic perks was freaking amazing. Seeing him run on all fours had me leaned forward in my seat
Honestly thought this was the funniest film. When the bye bye bye intro scene started, everyone in the theater started cheering like crazy. Awesome experience
The movie was pretty damn good, even with an annoying ladies constantly bickering and complaining at quite literally everything sitting next to me I still loved it. Went fast but was a great pace for the style, had me laughing, in awe and in tears. Beautiful movie, writing, directing and acting
I've never disagreed with Charlie more. This was the best of the 3. Because Deadpool is supposed to be meta. Supposed to break shit. It's probably just down to taste (which is SUBJECTIVE) But This was a masterpiece for me and one I've waited a decade for
Yeah but the story was dog shit and the established characters in Deadpool were ignored. Would it have killed them to write a dopinder variant into the void or even a Vanessa who doesn't know wade. Still a decent film.
@@HairyNun lol it's Deadpool, have you read the comics? Most story's/characters when finished are just ignored. And as far as story itself goes if you went to a Deadpool movie expecting Shakespeare that's your fault.
@@joekerr1607 The notion that an adaptation can be jnstinically flawed and lackluster and still be regarded as good the most narrow minded, and shallow shit I have ever heard. Just because it’s adapted that doesn’t mean it’s good by proxy. Just because the boys comic is a contemptible, sardonic piece of shit doesn’t mean that the adaptation has to be. Just because Deadpool in the comics is an arduous comedic shallow archetype in the comics dosent mean he can’t be that and be fundamentally more and then some in the movie. I kind of wish I could've given Peter Pool a hug, too. Definitely goofier. Just don't take it seriously expecting it to change the entire dynamic of the MCU or anything going forward. Probably my favorite action scenes post end game superhero flicks though
The movie felt like I was watching a meme compilation on yt. The little plot there is, is completely secondary. It was still kinda good tho. Really was a fun movie, even with it jumping all over the place. I thought the action scenes were kinda bad in a lot of parts compared to the first two. A bunch of cgi and kinda nonsensical choreography (like enemies waiting to attack Deadpool because we're supposed to be watching Wolverine fighting someone in the foreground).
The first two movies didn’t really have g@y jokes every 30 seconds, so you can definitely tell Disney made it. Even the final fight in Deadpool 2 was somehow easier for me to suspend my disbelief.
