The actor for Homelander was so intense. He was terrifying. It felt like he could flip at any moment. He balanced that stereotypical hero vibe vs manic psychopath perfectly.
"you teach me to outrun cancer" is one of the best lines
Me and the boys watching The Boys
How are you going to review this tv show without mentioning that you play one of the supporting cast members, the deep
The Deep chatting with the dolphin was brilliant
Me and the boys getting renewed for a second season
Watching Karl Urban kill people with a super baby was one of the best moments of television I have witnessed.
Charlie looks like he represents all the boys
Trailer park keanu reeves is the best reviewer
I loved what they did with Homelander. Every time he got closer to a character, or touched someone, they showed his hands because of how powerful he is. Each time I got uncomfortable too
Homelander helped me understand why lex Luther and batman are so paranoid about superman..😅
The dolphin scene I feel wasn't aiming to be edgy, it's just fucking funny
Every scene with black noir is pure gold.
Homelander's costume is fuckin' awesome. A mix of Superman, Captain America and Judge Dredd. And the plane rescue scene is insane. I loved it.
Bro I swear Charlie look like the deep
In X-men, the director confirmed that they based the quicksilver scene off of that one over the hedge scene with the squirrel when he ate all the sugar.
I love how this isn’t just “what if superheroes weren’t good.” It shows the superheroes as entertainers with a company and a brand behind them. They’re influencers, and it’s a great take on not just superheroes, but celebrities and social media stars as well.
I love Black Noir, remember that scene when he intimated the pianist with his sexual tension until he got out of his way and then he pounded the piano keys like a boss.
Antony Starr, the guy who plays Homelander, is probably one of the most underrated actors ive seen in a long time. hes insane
“You’ll teach me to outrun cancer?”
