The BeeGees are phenomenal. Almost five decades of amazing music - they wrote all of their music and lyrics - a thousand songs for themselves and for everyone from Prince to Celine Dion to Michael Jackson to Dolly Parton to Barbara Streisand. Check them out and enjoy the journey. ❤
Welcome in the Univers of the Bee Gees. They had so many Songs. And every Song is a surprice. Everybody knows the Song Staying Alive. But not everybody knows its a Song from the Bee Gees. Nobody can switch there Voices like the Bee Gees. Amazing Voices Amazing Song Amazing Bee Gees. ❤❤❤
Bee Gees are legends! A career about 50 years, they wrote more than 1000 songs for themselves and other famous artists, in the hall of fame, in the rock`n roll hall of fame, several musik awards, second behind Mc. cartney as greatest songwriters and so on!
I loved your reaction! Don't feel bad, the BeeGees were one of the only groups that played rhythm and blues on Black radio stations. Quincy Jones stated that their song, "Fanny, Be Kind With My Love" was one of the BEST rhythm and blues songs ever written. They wrote songs for Diana Ross, Dianne Warrick, Otis Redding. The more you go down their rabbit hole and discover just how brilliant they were. They wrote 100 top ten and were the only group that topped the charts with their music in the top 4, for several weeks, they were dominating.
They recorded around one microphone too. Watch the making of Tragedy. You would also enjoy Medley in 1989 Melbourne. They wrote all their own music too. Great reaction. ❤
I love that you are discovering the BeeGees. And I agree the music of the 60s and 70s & 80s is on another level. I'm voting for the BeeGees over the Righteous Brothers, though i like the Righteous Brothers as well. I listen to the BeeGees quite often simply because they have a huge # of songs & hits that i resonate with. Some more great hits to react to: Nights on Broadway, Run to Me, Fanny Be Tender with my Love, Reaching Out, NIght Fever, Wind of Change, Jive Talking, To Love Somebody, Spirits Have Flown, Songbird, Love You Inside Out, and Wildflower. I hope you do more BeeGees reactions. Your comments are excellent!❤
The Bee Gees were amazing singer/songwriters and wonderful human beings. They donated 100% of the proceeds for this song to UNICEF. It has made over 10 million $ for this charity. Love this group since 1967 when I heard my first Bee Gees song. They are in a league all their own. Thanks for the reaction.
The Brothers Gibb(aka Bee Gees) actually donated the royalties to this song to Unicef. The song generated over 10 million dollars for the charity. The Bee Gees rule!! I could listen to this song dozens of times and I have, and never tire of it. I will definitely listen to it a dozen more times, as anyone should.
Before television ruled the scene, artists were artists. True artists. As the business is done now, you have to be a supermodel first, then they try to mold you into an artist. Elvis was the beginning of that. He was so beautiful and so new. He was so visually appealing. We didn’t just love him because he was beautiful. He felt like a part of the family. That doesn’t hold true with most artists. We loved him. The industry has been trying to recreate that magic ever since and the ART has suffered for it. 70s music is unmatched.
The band in the background is I believe the German philharmonic and all money including royalties goes to UNICEF...they wrote 3 #1 hits in one afternoon. One of them was this song.
Don’t apologize my man! Remember a basic, it’s basic, but common sense idea. Judge people by what they produce, content of their character, don’t worry about anything else.
Love your reaction! You said it right-it makes you smile and you feel joyful. I feel so much peace inside, and I have listened to this song so much. I grew up on The Bee Gees. A young black teenager, and we loved this group. It really does take me back to the good old days. I’m 72 and still get chills from their vocals. Continue with the classic sounds of pure talent…enjoy!
Fun reaction. Thanks. Some of the Bee Gees best songs are chart toppers and top tens. Today I like How Deep in your love, for whom the bell tolls (video under the Brooklyn Bridge), Alone, Kiss of Life, Blue Island, Run to Me, Inside and Out, you win again, Islands in the stream, To love Somebody, Will you still love me tomorrow, a cover and tribute to Carole King, who said it was the best she had heard. That's only a smidgen of their 1000s of songs, not including the unreleased demos that are beautiful, too.
These dudes are amazing... I just truly want to say one thing... black or white.. we love love great music.. and doesn't matter the color of your skin... if you can hit my heart with your music.. that's what is amazing. and all I have to say is Thank you... for creating amazing music..
Since you are on that musical discovery journey, if I may suggest "Guilty" with Barry Gibb and Barbara Streisand, a great, smooth, mellow song. Barry Gibb was very versitile indeed. You Sir, have very genuine and heartfelt and positive reactions. Keep trucking.
I wish you could have reacted to the official video of "STAYING Alive" instead of a live performance, it's really better than the live one. Here's a small list of some of their greatest hits....
I've seen this a billion times, but I got lost with you! ❤✌️ Btw, please don't compare such original talents. Both groups are, imo truly not comparable to one another.
I love the Righteous Brothers but the Bee Gees were around for 50 years made 32 Albums, wrote over 1000 songs for themselves and other artists. They also gave up all royalties to this song, forever, so everything goes to the children's charity UNICEF. I think 20 million to date. Their Gold and Platinum discs if they are real could keep a jeweller in business for a lifetime. They were amazing. The twins Maurice and Robin died; Mo in 2003 aged 53 and Robin in 2012 aged 62. At 78 Barry is still alive and writing songs but is not singing due to losing his hearing. Writing this 2024.
Chris Stapleton is the modern day soul/blues/country artist everyone should be listening to. Sometime I Cry.....live from Bing Lounge. See what modern day soul has to offer.
Hey young man, thanks for being so open minded. I have no idea of auto tune. I'm 6O years old. U r a open-minded young man. Jesus is with you. Because most people will never step out.
Thier musi was the greatest. A;so thy could have had any women but were happily married. Check out also Barry Gibb and Micheal Jackson, All in your name
Everyone I've ever heard thinks the Bee Gee's were a black group.. I don't think Barry takes offense to that now.. Barry is the only Bee Gee left.. they had such perfect harmony... to me.. a child of the 80's... loved my hair bands.. but I know 70's music.. The Jackson's, the Osmond's and the Bee Gee's.. sibling harmony.. cannot be denied..
I have seen many reactors watch their first video of this group and be shocked when they realize The Bee Gees are white. It makes me laugh. I went to high school and college in the 1970s. We listened to a lot of blue eyed soul.
If you are looking for quantitive quality there is NONE better than The Bee Gees. They had hits in the 60's, 70's 80's 90's and 2000's.Please check out the official video from 2003 For Whom the Bell Tolls. There are none better. If you want love songs these are your guys. The 1967 hit To Love Somebody covered by many. They wrote the song for Otis Redding who died in a plane crash before he was able to record the song so The Bee Gees did it themselves.
These men are the masters of voice and verse. MAGIC❤
Someone called them 'the white chocolate' ... Soulful 🎶
It was real back in the day. Real people playing real instruments, real voices singing real notes.

I loved your reaction!

The tall one in the middle is older brother, Barry. To the left of him is Robin, to the right is Maurice (pronounce Morris). They are twins.
It doesn't matter who is "better " in my opinion, I just appreciate both groups for what they bring. ❤✌️

I was fortunate to grow up in the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's. You have so much music to explore, you can't even imagine.

The fact that Barry and his wife for over 50 years just makes me enjoy this song even more! Thanks for your review!
Bodyguard, Kiss of Life by the Bee Gees.
One microphone in a studio in 1978. Amazing Gibbs Brothers I grew up with their music
My TWO FAVORITE GROUPS are Righteous Bros and The Bee Gees!!!!!!
The Brothers Gibb(aka Bee Gees) actually donated the royalties to this song to Unicef. The song generated over 10 million dollars for the charity. The Bee Gees rule!! There is nothing wrong saying these guys sound black or you thought they were black. Thats just a compliment to their music.

Check out BeeGees “ Fanny be Tender”. Quincy Jones said it’s one of the best R&B songs he’s ever heard.
I don't think there is anyone alive today that can match that level of vocal talent.
There is actually! Not a band, a single entertainer by the name of Angelina Jordan!she’s going to be BIG! Check her out! She’s ALL over UA-cam!
This was the slow dance jam.
Blue eyed soul ❤
Next.. look for the 1999 live concert. They absolutely kill it with live harmonies. It is even more amazing live.
Love your reaction! You said it right-it makes you smile and you feel joyful.

And love your vibe.
👍👍💯❤
Imo, no apologies are necessary. ❤️✌️
Tom Jones "I'll never fall in love again"
Was made in one take and yes one microphone.

No this is not live. It is still my most favorite song EVER!
Thier musi was the greatest. A;so thy could have had any women but were happily married. Check out also
Barry Gibb and Micheal Jackson, All in your name
barry gibb and michael jackson all in your name
Ambrosia was hitting too
All of them were married at the time & they didn't have a reputation for escapades with groupies, I don't recall.
Check out Percy Sledge (WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN)I have danced a lot of slow dances to that song.

All money went to UNICEF try to whom the bell tolls new York vidio
The only Falsetto comparable to Barry Gibb's is Jordan Knight's from New Kids on the block. ❤
You're right - the music has gone downhill. It lost its soul thanks to technology.
U were wrong. Berry and his wifevhave been married for 50 plus years. Thanks though for being open minded.
Women today have disposed of men. These songs are over.
