I bought a Note Air 2+ on pure "want," and that's why I'm happy and not really looking to upgrade, because I don't NEED it.

I can't believe how excited I just got to see a new video by you. I have down the eink rabbit hole and I love it down here. Last night I was convinced that I had consumed all of the content relating to the newest devices and I was disappointed. Now I am happy again!
Man, your thoughts on need leading to satisfaction and want leading to dissatisfaction rings so true. Not just in e-readers, but any purchase. Two examples from my life:
Big, nebulous want: 3D printer. Imagine what I could do! Result: sits on my desk idle.
Big, concrete need: new car. Old one makes my wife too car sick. Result: three years of constant, enjoyable use.
But to bring this back to e-ink tablets. I’m rocking a hand-me-down Boox Nova 2, which was collecting dust until I realized how many post-it notes I was burning through. Don’t need anything fancy to replace a stack of 10*10cm paper notes that’ll just go in the garbage in a couple of days.

For work I have to stay in front of the screen 8 and more hours per day. When I am back home usually I read news online on the web, some online articles, read some posts (on FB and X), read a book and write the daily notes.
I am concerned about my eyes fatigue.
Which eink device would you suggest?
Which of them has the best recommendation regarding eye health and why not the best hand fatigues (pen holding and screen respond)?

I've been following ur yt channel for quite some time now and have been considering buying an e-ink tablet over an Android or iOS one. But currently I cannot decide between the boox note air 3, 3c and the upcoming supernote a5x2 (I have eliminated a6 sizes, Kindle scribe and the remarkable).
I am a research student and mainly need the tablet for reading, annotating and note taking, initially I had decided on the Boox tablets, but seeing some of ur reviews and the comments said that the updates reduce the performance of the tablet, which made me skeptical, since I need it to last atleast 5 years (plus I live in India, hence returning any product is out of question).
The supernote seems almost perfect but I'm not sure of the performance (in terms of speed) and the reading capabilities, since no one has covered it in much detail. The boox tablets have amazing features (even more than I need) but I'm not sure it will work for long. Between the note air 3 and 3c, the dead pixel and battery of the 3c is a concern for me (I did see your review on it, but could you tell me if it's battery performance is better than that of a non-eink device?),when it comes to the note air 3, writing feel and pen latency is the main concern since its greater than 20ms.
In short, my needs are minimal latency, durability (should last), note taking [45%], reading (mostly PDFs)[40%], document annotations [15%] and decent battery life. Colour, split screen, linking, headings, backlight, 300ppi, access to a browser are some features I would want but don't need.
Also, will the a5x2 be identical to the a6x2 (except for the size of course)? I would really like to know your thoughts on this and help me pick out a tablet (or suggest another e ink device) since I need to ask a relative to get me one soon
