    I do miss Kenny's reviews on any airgun I was thinking of buying. I am glad that the family has left these videos up here on UA-cam.
    Rest in peace Kenny.

    I had a Crosman '3576' CO2 air revolver for many years it was great accurate shooter. Replaced it with the Crosman 'Vigilante' which is nothing more than an updated and dressed up version of the 357. The 357 still operated fine I gave to my oldest daughter to practice handgun shooting. Both are excellent buys for C02 handguns.

    This lil bb gun is so much fun to own, never throw this gun away if the seals bust- remember you can order the seals and repair it yourself if you have the knowledge- also, i tried something that worked quite well; i modified the dent assembly by replacing the spring with a heavier-what a difference in power! haven't done a crony test yet because i don't own one but i believe I'm getting close to 589 fps!

      Could you tell me more about those spring that you purchased? I'm really interested in doing the same in mine

    Hey i have a fix for the slippery plastic handle..... Buy black "tool dip" in the aerosol can..... Spray some in a dixie cup and with a fine brush paint over just the texture on the plastic handle plates. You use the aerosol because it thinnet. A second coat doesnt hurt.... Now it feels like rubber. Also i used white nail polish for the sights

    Hello Ken, I have an idea for you folk now entering into your winter months, which affects the performance of any CO2 propelled pistol! Take a bean bag and warm it up in the microwave, which when about 40 deg C or 104 deg F, rest the pistol grip on said bean bag until it reaches body temperature, and vualla, your ballistics should be back up to 450 fps!!! Alternatively, a hot water bottle but not warmer than afore said temperature otherwise it could be dangerous!
    What's your take on this, ken? Kind Regards

    Everything Kenny say is true about this crosman 357.I use this to hunt tree rats at night.Very accurate,killed many many rats with it that I lost count how many I've killed.I use beeman crow magnum pellets.I also use a red filter on my lamp so rats don't spook easily.My most memorable shot was a running shot right at the head on my avocado tree branch at about 40feet up.

    Why did I pay $89.99 for the stub? The average price now is 89 - 110; I understand that this can also be part of a home defense arsenal; what do you think about that?

    Hi There Ken, After some two thousand rounds plus some, I suspect that my Crosman 357 Vigilante's barrel is rotating inside the barrel housing. Do you perhaps have a suggested fix for this? Kind Regards, Kevin

    • @myairgunreviews
      @myairgunreviews  9 років тому

      What makes you think that?

    • @dalanwanbdiska6542
      @dalanwanbdiska6542 5 років тому

      They dont rotate. They are held by a pin. It needs to be removed to pull out barrel. It suppose to move back and forth. Just leave it alone its not broken. I keep telling this to other people also.

      Mine is not break barrel. You load the revolver through a spring loaded door. Rotating the wheel for each load

    Hi Ken, Great review on the Crosman 357. Some time ago you published a fix for the Crosman Optimus .177 air rifle which I followed to the letter with tremendous results. Thanks. That said, as with the revolver, I am a little concerned wrt gas escaping through the "flash" - ie between the magazine and the barrel!? Have you thought of anything to improve this phenomenon which may helpto raise the fps?!
    Kind Regards, Kevin

    • @myairgunreviews
      @myairgunreviews  10 років тому +1

      You can get some better fps by lubing the pellets. (Using something like Gamo Speed Oil)

    • @kevingrimbeek2106
      @kevingrimbeek2106 10 років тому

      Awesome, sounds absolutely great & simple too! Now why didn't I think of doing that! Back to my Crosman Rifle, I'm getting groups of less than 10mm (or 5/16th's inch) over 25 yards, all thanks to YOU! Again, thank you so much, Ken.
      PS Ever thought about visiting South Africa?!

    Can it use BBs? I saw a comment of plastic ones, but what about metal BBs?

  • @frankl1955

    Does the steel barrel just float inside plastic housing? Mine started coming out and I had to push it back in.

      @eroticmasterbaker 8 років тому +1

      +Craig Plouffe it has a rubber piece to keep the barrel tight and it wears out. I cut a new rubber piece out of a bicycle tire and it works great now.

    • @heresclowny5115
      @heresclowny5115 4 роки тому

      Non of the screws will tighten the barrel- i have the newer version and it comes with a tiny metal clip that holds it in place- i can still slide the barrel out of the plastic shroud assembly by just using my fingers and it does not effect the performance on it at all- you could can try a little super glue at the end of the barrel where the breech is.
