The greatest bond. Classy all the way to the end. Passed away in his sleep. Best way to go.
This Man is Legend No One Can Forgot Him , This Man is A Great Actor , This Man Alwayse Will Be Remembered As The Original 007 And Everybody Will Not Forgot This Legendary Actor
RIP In Heaven Sir Sean Connery 🙏😪💙
RIP Sir Sean Connery. 😢
Scotland has lost a giant.
Condolences to Sean's family. We will achieve his dream of independence.
Thank you big Tam!
Highly possible that Sir Sean Connery is going to called "Scotland's Best Ever Export" - #007 - 🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂!.
Connery and whiskey have to be Scotland's best exports
Oh, the Scots have had plenty of other great people leave. Most of the original settlers of America were Scottish, Irish and German
God rest his soul. To millions of us, he will always be " Bond, James Bond."
When I was 5 years old, he was only Henry Jones Senior to me !
@@ricardocantoral7672 Another great role!
James Bond really can’t catch a break these days. RIP Sir Sean Connery, will 2020 just end already?
Sir Sean and Sir Roger are now in Heaven and discussing the merits of Dom Perignon 1955.
Rest in Peace, Sir Sean. You are and always will be loved. ❤️

Sean Connery: The Original and truly The Real James Bond 007 Licence to Kill.
Well said
The icon, original, legend and BEST Bond IMO.
Sean Connery was the man that WAS the man that us guys wanted to be.
This is such sad news. 2020 can seriously rack off now.
Rest in Peace, Mr Connery. Your legacy will be remembered.
Power, charisma, charm, sexuality, killer instinct--that's Connery
This just devastated me today - I really felt like I lost a close member of my family, since he has been a part of my life for as long as I remember.
As you’ve said - most of us are fans of this series primarily because of him.
All the actors who came after him were following the Legacy that he created.
Everything we have here in the Bond community - the great movies - the great memories -the friends we’ve made - the shared experiences - would not be here if it were not for the magic he brought to James Bond 007.
Even the books, as great as they are, may not have even been known to us if it wasn’t for him introducing us to this world and this character through the films.
So yea..l.this was a very big loss to all of us.
RIP to my all time favorite Hero.
👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍!.
whenever I go back to read the novels, only one man comes to mind to bring James Bond alive: Sean Connery.
What a legend.
My exact sentiments.
I also became a "gadget lover"... due mainly, to all the gadgets the character, James Bond, used on 007's daily carry... R.I.P. Sir Sean Connery. 👍👍👏👏👍👍😎😎😎😎
I agree. I got to sit in the Aston Martin from Goldfinger when I was 15! It was the greatest moment in my life at the time. It is still a special moment to have sat in the same seat as Sean Connery!
@ John Rigs: I quite agree with you on everything you said.
When I was a kid, James Bond movies provided access to exotic travel, wordly charm and adventure. Loved Roger Moore too. RIP to the legendary Sean Connery💞
Sean Connery is not truly dead. He will never be. He lives in our hearts, minds and souls. He is just resting.❤️
👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍!.
You got it brother & we’ll always have his films to hold on to him in our hearts. May his beautiful soul rest in peace.
Actually, he's not resting... He's dead.
But his impact will last forever.
@@ppuh6tfrz646 Dead...to THIS world
@@ppuh6tfrz646 , you must be fun at parties. Not.
A touching tribute, wonderfully told, Joe. RIP Sir Sean Connery.
Sean Connery to me, has been, and always will be, the REAL James Bond. God bless him!
FYI, when I was a kid, I actually got to sit in the 007 Aston Martin, with all those awesome gadgets!!! Near Christmas, the local Goldblatts store in Park Forest Illinois, held a promotion for that old James Bond car racing set. And they had brought that Aston Martin to the store for promoting it. And they let people get to sit in it, WOW!!! One of the best days of my childhood. That, and always staying to the end of every Bond movie, eagerly waiting to see "Bond will be back in xxxxxxxx"!!!! Always a thrill!!!
I got to sit in that same Aston Martin in NYas a kid! Biggest thrill of my life!
RIP Sean Connery. What a great actor. Might watch The Hill tonight. Great tribute video of him, thank you.
You danced round and round...Sir Sean what the World LOST was a "MAN'S MAN" he was the young man's dream as BOND ,to be like Sir Sean ,Gentle Man / That you knew would kick ass.
I'm still going hrough the filmography of Sir Sean Connery's movies. I can't say I do that for many actors. Cheers, Sean. Truly you were the man who was KING.
Many other great movies and very different roles. Check out "The Hill" and "The Offence"
I Pluto watch all Connery Bond films yesterday... I have see all bond films i. Theaters since LIVE AND LET DIE..
Absolutely agree with you there, I love how he reinvented himself as “the mentor” to the main characters in the 80’s & 90’s starting with Highlander what an amazing career. He will be missed
Exactly. After that, we looked to Sean for wisdom as well as his strength and courage
One of the very, very few actors that was truly greater than the roles he played.

My dad is a huge James Bond fan to the point where he named my brother after Sean Connery.
The greatest, the definitive James Bond. It's like part of your childhood just died.
Well said.
Yes I fully agree
Part of my young days gone forever
May he RIP
One of the best loved actors of all time
‘That’s a Smith and Wesson, and you’ve had your six.’ All the best Sir Sean.
I was at work yesterday morning when I got the notification about the passing of Sean Connery. I was raised on 007 and have seen a lot of his other movies greatly saddened to see him gone. Thank you Sean for all the years of entertainment you gave us R.I.P. Sir Sean Connery.
Sean Connery acting as James Bond is Amazing actor as double O, 7, performance in the action movie is totally a unreal secret Agent, nobody can be like Sean Connery as James Bond
Same roger moore. With 90 years....rip two best bonds.
Sean Connery WAS James Bond. The 007 James Bond films could never have been as popular if it wasn't for Sean Connery. RIP Sean Connery. We will all miss you.
No doubt!
The mortality point said in the video... man, whenever someone we truly admire or has been part of something we love, goes away... it makes you think that nothing lasts forever. RIP Sean Connery.
Terence Young said it
About the success of Bond
The three top ingredients was
Sean Connery
Sean Connery
Sean Connery
Enough said
I totally agree!
And there was a pre-Bond film he was in as more of a "truckdriver" - Darby O'Gill and the Little People!
@ tenhirankei: I regret that i never had the opportunity to shake hands with Sir Sean Connery and thank him for not only making the James Bond 007 films, but i always wanted to thank him for bringing happiness into the lives of a lot of little kids for making the film Darby O'Gill And The Little People. RIP Sir Sean Connery. You will be greatly missed.
rodger will be at the pearly gates with a martini for sean or as we call him in scotland big tam.

I'm shaken and stirred.
Joe’s videos always have the best editing and production. Well done sir...
It's only couple of weeks when I watched the tribute video for Dink's actress. There I said that 2020 has been the worst year ever for Bond fans, and it cannot get any worse anymore... Well, here we are. 2020, officially the worst year for Bond fans ever. RIP Sir Sean Connery, you will live in your movies, and in our memories!
Michael Lonsdale, Diana Rigg, Honor Blackman and now Sean Connery - good riddance to 2020!.
R.I.P.💔💔💔
Goodbye sir Sean Connery l
Rest in peace
I was thinking paying for a ride on one of those wood hulled speed boats in Venice....to ensure I get to the airport on time. But maybe I should do it....just because .....
"How James Bond would that be?". If only I could have gotten the theme music playing in the background.
He was the man. Great actor and versatile.
RIP Sir Sean Connery, still the BEST Bond (imo). He was also in some of my all time faves - Indy Jones & the Last Crusade, The Untouchables, The Rock, Hunt for Red October, Highlander. He was my first real movie idol. My fave Connery Bond movie is From Russia with Love. Fois dhut. Taing airson a h-uile càil.
An Icon. A legend.
A fantastic tribute HOS. From the moment I heard this saddening news I awaited your glowing tribute and you did not disappoint
Sean Connery undoubtedly the First Bond and the best Bond! Liked him more in "A Bridge too Far" as Maj Gen.!
Thank you for your thoughts on the passing of Sir Sean Connery. Joe, would love to see a large group discussion to talk about the legacy of Sean Connery, his Bond films that I can attest have had an impact on my own life as well. Would make a great afternoon in tribute.
God bless and RIP Sir Sean.
I was young enough (or old enough depending on your perspective) to have seen "Dr. No" and "Goldfinger" back to back as a double feature in a theater - on the big screen. Was an amazing event. Watching it in video format doesn't do it justice. Right pitch of sound, background music added to an excitement of these stories. And of course, seeing this in a packed theater was just plain crazy. ❤️
@6:05 That scene would not be possible today. "Man-talk" would raise hackles that slap on the bottom would set them on fire! LOL
Great Post, Joe. A sad day for us all...
Somebody accidentally pressed the unlike button. Clumsy.

Rip Sir Sean Connery the king of James Bond one of my favorite Actors. I am only 33 years old and enjoyed his Bond films along with The Untouchables, The Rock, and The Hunt For Red October among others. My favorite Bond films of his are Goldfinger and From Russia With Love
Rest in Peace my Brother... "Bond...James Bond!"
"His Bond was cool AND would whoop your *ss!" My favorite version of Bond.
Every guy wanted to wear their tuxedo like Bond. Connery in The Untouchables was the best comeback. The Rock was an unofficial Bond 🎥. He is a legend and will be missed.😢
RIP to one of our greatest heroes on the silver screen... possibly THE greatest
Rest in Love Mr. Bond.
I loved him in Highlander and The man who would be king . RIP Sean .
Hunt For Red October was my favorite non-Bond film. Such a fabulous actor❤️🧡💛💚💙
I am a literally Bond more rather than a movie Bond !!!!
Great tribute by the speech
Talk about changing one’s life...it was because of Sean Connery that in 1968 I wound up in the ASA, which was the military branch of the NSA. I had a top secret clearance and did some interesting work...all because of James Bond.
Men wanted to be him , woman to be with him.
RIP Sean Connery xx a true Scottish thistle
Rest in peace sir sean Connery
Grew up watching and loving the Bond films and Sean will always be my favorite. I knew this day would finally come but it's still a very sad one none the less. The fact we lost Honor Blackman and Margaret Nolan this year also just adds to the sadness. R.I.P. Sean.
I'm deeply touched by his passing ... It's just like Harrison Ford once said at his AFI Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony : "John Wayne gave us the old West, James Stewart gave us our town, but Sean Connery gave us the World" ... by being on any screen
Bond fan my entire life, it's like losing a family member...really..I'm gutted
He was and always will be the best!
sob😪gone , all gone from our 60’s bond era , you the only one left Mr. Lezenby & Dame Shirley Bassey to keep our 60’s Bond era alive 🌹❤️
My childhood hero! You will be forever missed Sir Sean Connery. You were and always will be the Greatest James Bond!
My favorite Sean Connery film, besides 007 is finding Forrester.
Thanks for the memories.
I think "Diamonds are Forever" was the begrudging Bond film and "Never Say Never Again" was a Sean Connery project. And please don't disparage Zardoz, although most people do. It was an indie film, one of Connery's best roles, and still is one of the best SF movies ever!
You Only Live Twice is the most "begrudging" Bond film for him, if his on-screen performance and off-screen peeves with the EON team is any indication. And, no, NSNA is an 'official' Bond film, in that the project was greenlit by the commercial law(s) of the relevant jurisdiction and is not an amateur, fan film (please, do not use that perjorative term interchangably with non-EON produced, thank you).
@@bonghunezhou5051 "Zardoz" was an indie film by John Boorman. NSNA was based on the original screenplay "Thunderball" by Ian Fleming. Neither one was a "fan film."
The truly great actors know how to leave a little bit of themselves in every character, so their audience can connect to a part of the real person who brings life to the character.
What a fine actor he was. A few weeks ago I saw the Hunt for Red October, he was owning every scene. The one and only Bond to me. God rest his soul, RIP!!
Check out "The Hill" and "The Offense".
Just when we thought this year couldn't get any worse we lose the best damn bond ever... R.I.P sir and great video by the way👍
R.I.P Sir Sean Connery! We can never underestimate the importance of his skill! For me it was apart from 007 "The Hill" that also showed me what he could do and also "The man that would be king" Thank you for the fun and enjoyment you gave us all! Sigh!
Incredibly Sad News
A beautiful and heartfelt eulogy. I have watched much and many today, and yours is the best. Thank you
The name is bond .. James bond!
And Ms. French, #1 bond girl.
The first and the best Bond RIP Sean Connery
Well done Joe, great post. I’d personally loved Rising Sun amongst others.
Well done Joe!! RIP to our hero!!🇺🇸🇬🇧🏴
“Goodbye Mr. Bond”... 🕊🍸
You’ll be missed, Sir Connery! R.I.P.!
When I lived in Japan in the ‘80s, people would always ask me who my dad looks like, per Hollywood actors, and the one that always came to mind was Sean Connery. We are of Scottish Highlander background, and I have often wondered if we’re related somewhere in the family tree. There are certain characteristics that do bare a striking resemblance to each other. Therefore, I have more interest in the original Bond character than just his movie roles. I’m not saying we’re close family, but my guess is that we are from the same clan or region, possibly.
You will be missed, Mr. Bond! Too bad he can’t “only live twice” this time around! However, I do believe he is living a “second time” in Heaven with his family and friends. Peace!
Through his mother, he was of Clan MacLeod. He wore that clan's tartan on the day he was knighted by the Queen in 2000.
@@Gameflyer001 Thank you for your reply! I could have looked that up, huh? Thank you so much for doing that! We are of the Gunn and MacKay clans. My family has the crow's claw disease (forgot the medical name, but my dad was the most recent to get it about 20 years ago!) that Highlander decedents like Pres. Reagan and PM Thatcher had, among other people, that proves our lineage is of the far north end of the Country, and showing that we also have Viking blood in us, too. I'm not sure if that Clan has Highlander roots, but I will have to do my research this time, huh? Thank you again!
@@GreenTekHaus no problem! I do know (from his Wiki page) that his maternal great-grandparents were native Scottish Gaelic speakers from both Fife as well as the town of Uig on the Isle of Skye.
The best Bond
Back when men could be male... RIP Sir. Sean Connery..
I agree with you. The producers really got it right the first time when they cast him as James Bond. His charisma was extraordinary to have the lasting effect to the rest of the actors who have played the 007 character. I can imagine the marketing stance that the people behind his non-Bond films had to go through to rub him off that "brand." But then again, he was a great actor so he pulled it off gracefully as evidenced by the success of his post-Bond movies.
Sean Connery "Doesn't suffer fools gladly" I remember that being said of him.
RIP Sir Sean Connery.
He alone is "THE" James Bond
He was and still is a god among Men

HOWARD WEBER says ------- Joseph, I agree with everything you said. I also want to mention that without Connery and the Bond films, there would be no TV shows like the Man From Uncle and all the other 60`s TV spy shows. As for Sean`s non- Bond films go, I love the Rock, The Great Train Robbery, I.J. and the Last Crusade, and Entrapment just to name a few. Lets not mourn. Lets celebrate his life.
So sorry to see you so sad but appreciated your loving comments and your great work talking about Mr. Connery. You missed "The Hill" (1965). Bond on film, for me, was only Sean. His acting talents, thankfully extended beyond 007. And being rated one of the sexiest men alive in his 60's? Even Ian Fleming couldn't come up with something that absurd! RIP Sean Connery, and love to all in these terrible times. Take care.
😪💙🤍《RIP Sir Sean Connery. 🥀🌹🥀🌹🥀🌹
The Anderson Tapes 1972 was a great non Bond movie. My personal best was FRWL and Goldfinger. Secret volcano base also included. Seeing the Connery films on the big screen was magical
Very nice tribute, Joe. (Volume low on this broadcast, by the way). RIP Sir Sean Connery, the original and best James Bond 🇬🇧😞😢
yes he set the mold for the role of James Bond rip
Sean Connery has to be my very favourite actor be it from Britain or America; any other country. I kind of grew up going to the cinema and seeing the Roger Moore films, but there has always been Sean Connery in my mind whenever i watched all of the actors play Bond. Put simply, that i have been a James Bond fan since the early Seventies; it was thanks to Sean Connery that i remained a loyal Bond fan. I have liked all of the actors who has played Bond, and Daniel Craig is probably the second best Bond to Sean. However, all these actors know or admit that James Bond was Sean Connery, the first and the best. One could argue that the very first James Bond was Ian Fleming himself; well he created the fictional spy; but some of the films are a lot different to the novels. I am not sure what film i went to see at the cinema, that was not a Bond film; in which Connery starred. I guess that i went to see a film at the cinema, because Sean Connery was in it; Never Say Never Again was the only time i saw him play Bond on the big screen. Though, since then i have been to watch special screenings of some of the earlier Bond films at the cinema. There has never been any film that i have not enjoyed Connery being in; purely because he was an incredible actor. I have just watched The Hill, a hard film to watch, which unfortunately has a racial tone; but the film was made in 1965. There is no doubt that Sean Connery has had an incredible career, during his time as 007, and in later years. So i think, even had he not played the role of James Bond; he would have still been regarded as a movie legend. There was never going to be any good time for him to pass away, it was inevitable; but he had been retired for a number of years. I am pleased that there has been mostly a respectable response to his death. All we can do as fans, is simply just enjoy his incredible films whenever we would like; with so much gratitude.
Well said sir, well said.
