I absolutely loved how you swapped out those dining room chairs and yes, I totally agree, it looked so much better. The house is beautiful and I love the floors and I do love how minimal they have decorated the rooms. I would have to ask you for help in the second bathroom with those wall tiles against the floor tiles. I have a hard time seeing a vision there as the colors are not my favorite. But I know you would do it right! Congratulations John and Johnny on such a lovely home.
After seeing your place and this place, you know all the stars align as they say or whatever you cliché you want to say but your place is so much better. Your castle or fortress is just stunning. I hope to visit one day.
Those floors… so glad they remain to retain the souls of that house. The found chairs add a dimension to the decor of the dinning room - so much better .
What a fabulous house. John2 have put so much work into it, roof and ceilings and power and plumbing and walls and more! Those floors... wow! ❤❤ i agree about the chairs, those old crested chairs really add something special to the dining room. But they may not be as comfy as the new ones.
I like that they had one in each room. It added a little bit of the house history to each room. I think the renovation has been very well thought through.
Serendipity...meeting them after years, after Johnny had read your book, amazing! Annette, I think they should let you put a few more design touches inside to spice it up. Ciao
Girl!!! I just love your channel you make me have a better day! ❤. I dream all day of what possibilities are. Thank you for taking the time out of your life to show us all the lovely area of Italy. I working my goal to get a home over there maybe a couple years. Have a great wonderful day…
Hey, just to clarify. The house was built by my great-grandfather in the 30s, and its real name is Coni Zugna, from the WW1 battle in the Coni-Zugna mountains against Austria (my great grandfather fought there). The heraldic crest is my family crest, from my mum's side. The house was divided between my grandfather and his brother when my grand-grand passed, and my grandfather stayed in the upper part (the lower was sold almost immediately). He was a lawyer in Fivizzano and the 1700s hospital in via Labindo was his study. I lived in that house for a while in the 90s, when it had its original furniture. My grandfather passed in the 2000s but he had been living elsewhere for a while before passing. Ironically, I now live in the UK (in a period house 😂). Let me know if you need any other info on the house.
Brave, brave Annette: giving not one, but two Gusbands interior design advice. When they were taking the dining room chairs up the staircase, I laughed my ar$e off. What a stunner of a property. Thanks to all three of you for a lovely tour. A lot of fun.
This is GORGEOUS 💯 I'm telling you that you did a wonderful remodel!! I actually love that kitchen the black and white because its an old house And the colors of the kitchen just make you feel like it's the appropriate colors to have in the kitchen. It looks great. I really like the whole house I really do 😀👍✌️
Great property Annette! Lucky guys to find that place! When you asked them to move the chairs I was like that’s the Annette I imagine, haha! Cheers Kirk
Such a beautiful restoration. I know they're doing the really important necessary improvements but how nice would it be to collaborate and add your sense of design flair. A few more soft furnishings, art, vases, flowers, etc from local secondhand shops. Just enough to enhance and not distract from the beauty that is already there. Replacing the dining chairs was a great start!
Gorgeous house, exquisit taste. Anette, you are right about the chairs in the dinning room. However, bathroom upstairs, I would redo it from A to Z. Bisous de la France!
If I'm able to buy a house in Italy, I want to talk to these gentlemen! I love this house, their style, and it's setting. Beautiful! Annette, stop rearranging the furniture!
Exquisite! I love what John and Johnny have done to this Liberty house. The pool house and pool ideas are perfect. I would love to have a pizza party with these beautiful people. They have designed a beautiful and relaxing home✨♥️ Awesome video Annette💗
Maybe with time the guys can decorate it with beautiful, historical and elegant period pieces which the house deserves. It truly deserves the quality, beauty and class of interior of the period in which it was built. Huge congrats on its restoration.
I am an American and I find the house to be stunning. It comes across as a large estate but it appears to be manageable. Super cool that they are remodeling when possible but have thoroughly thought it out. The floors are a bit bold but probably true to Italy?? I hope to see this house again after they have completed it. It will be spectacular !!
So nice. Iam thinking about moving to Italy to have fun with a house. I have lived in Calif for years with its dull, unsophisticated homes and design, so boring. but what these guys have done is the direction I would like to go. Very nice and well done.
Leave it to a couple of gay guys to have exquisite taste in home decor. This house is fabulous! Thanks for letting us see it, and thanks, Annette, for filming it.❤
It’s too modern inside for the beautiful property. I know if you would have purchased it. You could have kept it much more original because you know what you’re doing and Italy is your boyfriend. 🇮🇹❣️
As someone considering renovating a house in Italy, would the owners be willing to give a rough idea of the budget? It would help to understand construction cost there. Thanks!!!
Although the kitchen is nice in my opinion too glossy for that house ...however its not my home ....the property is stunning ...they need your advice to make it gobsmackingly what it should be.
The exterior suggests serious structural cleavage and movement. That is the problem all stone and brick, temperature fluctuations + the odd quake here n there can show up big fractures. Italy is full of them. But, you work around it I guess. Thanks Annette for showing us another one. Great way to spend a day I'll bet. Brotherly love from Australia...
My home although not in Italy, is very European looking. I love rich colors, and if that home were mine it would be dressed in the manner it deserves! Sorry guys... I am afterall Italian.
I agree. It’s a shame the elegance, calibre and period of the house was not respected - should be charming and exquisite. Well done hugely for restoring the property though - deep pockets needed. A beautiful property.
I so want to move there but apparently my 1100 a month is not good enough.Wake up Italy my rent money can help you rebuild. Being disabled killed my dream of living in Italy. Any ideas?
Comment down below to let me know what you think of this beautiful house in Fivizzano...

Gorgeous over all, but too beige! What vision these guys have. Absolutely agree with the chairs and the green tile!

OMG, incredible. The floors! The exterior patina! Liberty! Amazing.
Great house. The guys did a wonderful job of keeping what should be kept and removing the rest. I’d love to see a door to the patio and a pool.
Serendipity...meeting them after years, after Johnny had read your book, amazing! Annette, I think they should let you put a few more design touches inside to spice it up. Ciao
Somewhere I could linger for an afternoon, a day or the rest of my life. Understated elegance - absolutely perfectly perfect!!!
Best video yet!! Happy, relaxed and fun interview with the guys. What a cool property!!
Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for your family history. They created such a lovely house.
Thanks for the amazing insight, thanks for watching.
Love how minimalistic their home is, beautiful

Is gusband a real word used today or did you make that up?
@@ibenglishI think gusband is a great word 😂
@@joannamacfarlane5404 it definitely fits but I just never heard it before. All good and to each his/her own. Happiness for all! ✌🏻✌🏻
Guncle and Gusband are used a lot where I live 😉

Also, PLEASE get rid of that 1960s green bathroom tile! It doesn't fit your style or the house. Sell it to Annette!
Exquisite!

What a jewel of a home. Love. Love. Love everything they've done. Also, cute outfit, Annette.

Great tour!!! Love Love Love the old chairs!
Agree with the chair situation. Makes a huge difference.
That bathroom just needs a run of black tiles along the top of the green ones for a nice art deco look.
Totally agree ❤
Loved the house next door. Is it currently for sale by any chance?
Love all those floors
Love, love, love this house.
Those floors 🎉❤
You were right about the chairs and the tile, but my vibe is that you're not getting invited back 😆. Wasn't the wedding story enough of a heads up?
Agree with the dining chairs 👍🏻
Leave it to a couple of gay guys to have exquisite taste in home decor.
This house is fabulous!
Thanks for letting us see it, and thanks, Annette, for filming it.❤
Stunning!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Curious what the selling price was! Beautiful!

Nice background music!
Glad you like it!
Although the kitchen is nice in my opinion too glossy for that house ...however its not my home ....the property is stunning ...they need your advice to make it gobsmackingly what it should be.
Bedroom walls need to be not white.
Those floors!
Ok, I have to know. Did they keep the chairs in the dining room or put the chairs they originally had back to the table?
Kitchen is too modern ,it doesn't match the house. Road right behind the house 😊Glad you didnt buy this house

Italy is full of them. But, you work around it I guess.
Thanks Annette for showing us another one. Great way to spend a day I'll bet.
Brotherly love from Australia...
I like elegant traditional, but the kitchen looks great and doesn't scream stark modern. Likewise for the bathroom. It's brillant.
My home although not in Italy, is very European looking. I love rich colors, and if that home were mine it would be dressed in the manner it deserves! Sorry guys... I am afterall Italian.

Everyone has their own taste, Love theirs its a beautiful home they have created for themselves.
House is stunning, and great views, interior is a little too 'non-Italian' for me
Just buy the other house! Oh, how I wish I was wealthy!
nice house.
Thanks for visiting
I so want to move there but apparently my 1100 a month is not good enough.Wake up Italy my rent money can help you rebuild.
Being disabled killed my dream of living in Italy. Any ideas?
Marry someone with more money 🤷♂✌🏻
Renting her is a great option. Puglia would be a good idea. Thanks for watching.
Is the house next door for sale?
Not at this time. Thanks for watching.
They have some nice thinks but in total they don’t have good taste… I am sorry I really don’t want to be nasty. Their chars are really horrible
Nice renovation guys
