If you hve a nice shady spot outside I would put the begonia outside for the Summer. I placed my Polka Dot Begonia outside after months and months of trying to grow it without it giving me crispy tips. I put it in a self watering, no drainage, Pon... Nothing worked. Placed it outside in Self Watering pots and its Thriving

Hoyas won’t die if the tendril is aimed down. They just won’t be as happy. My pubicalyx is a plant with its vine growing down hill. I’ve not staked it up, I’m waiting for a bunch of six inch pots coming in at the first of the month. Then I’ll trellis it. I tried to trellis it in a four inch pot but it was very wobbly.

I have only the green form and still like it! b.cuculata has a wonderful bloom if she blooms for you. If you keep her in a more humid and with bright indirect sun or grow light, she would hopefully bloom for you and continue with the fertiliser , very low concentration though. I'm receiving one this Tuesday and most of my plants are now transferred out of soil but I'm a little scared to make this one after she gets used to my house. Yours is gorgeous, but I see it is in soil as well. Wondering if you tried it before?

I wish you would explain light strength in baby language to me. I have no idea what you're saying when you talk about wattage and stuff. I just hang whatever lights look good and I am afraid I have too many for my one cabinet and not enough for others.
