Winner of a video, I have been researching "stage hypnosis youtube" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Andrewlon Hypnotification Scheme - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my m8 got excellent success with it.
There are several factors in conversational hypnosis course. One resource I found that successfully combines these is the Hyper Hypno Blueprint (google it if you're interested) it's the most helpful plan that I've seen. look at all the amazing information .
+Emy Bay This was great, thanks, been searching for "best hypnotic induction script" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Reneyton Hypnotify Secrets - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my m8 got cool results with it.
This sounds similar to meditation. When I focus on my breathing eventually I enter this state of trance. It feels like I'm floating in the ocean. Then after I'm focused enough I can even hear my heartbeat and I sink even deeper. It's quite nice.
I gotta give props to people who do meditation cause its much harder than hypnosis. There's no guidance (ignoring guided meditation) and its hard to just drop yourself.
Social pressure. You hit the nail on the head.. Guess I am a sceptic. My dad was a hypnotist and he practiced on me regularly as I grew up. As he described it, hypnosis just relaxes people, helps them focus and the "theatre" or "ritual" was the stimuli people percieved that gave them permission to do something they would not object to or change a behavior they already wanted to change.
So hypnoses is just getting suggestions from someone and choosing to either follow those suggestions or not? Damn my mom tries to hypnotize me every day and it never works.
Dude 5 years ago I was in the same spot! lmao hypnotism didn't help me. moving out on my own, and cold hard bills broke that ice lol. make money!!! that's hypnotism in itself for me at least. I ❤ haters. get it by any means necessary.
My study of hypnosis began 55 years ago, and its use has been a significant part of my life, extending into Aikido, Improvisation, meditation, drumming, chanting, conscious child birth, and personal well being, all of which are based in engaging altered states of consciousness.

Hi all, I'm a Hypnotherapist (C.ht licensed by HMI of Tarzana CA) by profession, and I have to say, awesome job on explaining hypnosis in a layman-friendly way. Steven Graham pretty much said it all, but I would add that hypnosis is a very diverse and complicated subject. Actually, the hypnotic state is a relatively simple subject, but the difficulty lies in using this state for maximum benefit. Everyone's different, therefore a subtly different and personalized approach is necessary to help each person. Listen, we could on all day explaining different theories and approaches, but the basics stay the same. Hypnosis is a natural thing that happens to everyone at least twice a day - when we wake up and before we sleep. Some people slip in and out of 'hypnosis' all day. It's completely natural. Wonderful. All the best, Tzvi
So, what you are telling me is that you paid someone more than $15,000 to get a degree in a completely fake field of study. It sounds to me like you got ripped the fuck off. It is honestly sad when a "hypnotist" does not even know hypnotism is fake.
Good job on explaining hypnosis as used by street hypnotists and stage hypnotists (which is for entertainment purposes only). Hypnotherapy on the other hand, involves undergoing hundreds of hours of highly-specialized training and internship in order to successfully treat one's clients. Hypnotherapy is for treating any number of issues like fear of flying, stage fright, improving one's confidence or self-esteem, eliminating procrastination, quitting smoking and about 143 other issues. No one can get lost in hypnosis (you would simply fall asleep and wake up later as normal) and no one can make you go against your ethics or morals or do something you do NOT want to do. Hypnosis alone is NOT mind control. What hypnosis is >> Hypnosis is a focused, state of awareness that relaxes you and allows the hypnotherapist to work on a subconscious level to help you make positive improvements in your life. Hypnotherapy is "guided, self-improvement behavior modification." About 95% of the time you are AWARE of what is happening during hypnosis and can open your eyes at any time. Sometimes (5% of the time) for a specific purpose, you can be taken to the deepest somnambulistic level of hypnosis where you don't remember upon awakening what transpired. Most of the time this is not necessary. I hope this helps to "de-mystify" the mis-understandings surrounding hypnosis. NOTE: The type of CONTROL gained over another person that can happen through hypnosis is ONLY achieved with the use of other coordinated tactics: Sleep deprivation, drugs, hallucinogens, electo-shock and other highly-invasive procedures. Mind control and creating "sleepers" can only be achieved using these other strategies in tandem with hypnosis. Hypnotherapists are not covert gov't "black-ops" specialists. I hope this helps. By the way, I'm a certified, clinical hypnotherapist who graduated from the "Harvard of Hypnosis"... the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Tarzana, CA in the Los Angeles, California area.
+ilyriandevil -- Interesting point of view my friend. I've heard that faulty thesis before. But you're entitled to your opinion and it is not my wish to educate anyone who has their mind made up. Blessings to you.
+ilyriandevil -- Well, your tone is still abusive and antagonistic even after your apology... not exactly a smart way to get cooperation with your request for further information. Sorry but I have no interest in enlightening you my friend. You've struck out twice with me. Good luck in your quest.
The only real part of hypnosis is literally the same thing as guided meditation. The rest of it is social pressure on stage. I like being hypnotized. It just relaxes me and helps me shut out things. You can do it yourself just as easily as someone else can do it
our school's psychologist/hypnotist conducted a hypnotism session on us to release the anxiety of university entrance exam once, he simply gathered us all in the conference hall with a light soothing music and dim lighting, and started to give a "relaxation speech", just like the one in the beginning of this video ironically , at some point he asked us to imagine a red balloon lifting our right hand, and some of us actually did that, not me though (when my hand didn't rise i had decided to check other people lol) . and he continued with how we were all gonna be relaxed and do well during the exam etc. after the session i asked some of my friends who raised their hands if it was for real and they had told me that they didn't remember anything about it, in conclusion those who seemed to be more open to suggestions haven't done significantly better job in the exam, so i know that the process is really working for some people, not the more artistic ones as it's often claimed to be though because i am an artistic person myself (painting, acting in plays for years etc) and i was fully awake during the whole proccess even though i wasn't resistant, i am just not sure of its effectiveness
I believe in hypnosis, I have been in hypnotic trance before and do it for fun, I have a dissocitive disorder which does seem to increase my ability to go into trance though if I don't enter correctly I can end up very chaotically dissociated but if I do it correctly I can have some level of control over my dissociation.
@@janpello Man I tried to get hypnotised by supposedly a top guy, and didn’t work. I tried with another one (one that goes on TV), and still didn’t work. Honestly I was really just normal. Felt so funny to be there with this guy trying hard with his mambo jambo I couldn’t help laughin in the midst of it (although not to embarrass him I bit my cheeks). So in my experience it didn’t work.
I go into deep trance and come back with a slight groggy head and red eye sometimes when I do Paul Mcenna sessions. I definitely go under and come back with results but also remember most or all of the session and could pull out if I wanted to force myself. The question for me is whether it's a long term fix as I have to repeat the session to get back on track. It lasts usually just that day, but maybe repeat ing it will form a habit. I'll try
This is the exact tactic used by faith healers in many churches. That's why some people fall when being prayed for. They're in a hypnotic state. God gets all the credit, of course. Simple manipulation of gullible people.
I've been put under while listening to a recording from one of my favourite hypnotist. Trance itself is very pleasant especially after a long day. Usually trance to me feels like taking a nap but being conscious through out. I listen to the sleep recordings from my favourite hypnotist and they help me sleep in under 30 minutes usually (sometimes I have to listen to two in which case it's almost an hour) which is way faster than me laying on the bed and staring for a n amount of hours waiting for sleep.
I myself is in need of being hypnotized, my life is clouded. My emotions are chaotic. I’m suffering from ADHD and depression, life is hard I hope in my heart of hearts that hypnosis can help me be free.
@@brancosebastianmartinez3951 Try with Wiki how. I do the same every night, I learned it from an email I got about 7 years ago, I got it in my old Hotmail account on wich I'm not brave enough to dig into, too much spam since I stopped using it.
Social Pressure. A person in authority wants you to act in response, and you want to respond as expected. Stage performer, doctor, sex guru - whoever is trying to hypnotize you is giving you the opportunity to play along and achieve acceptance - or not. Some people deeply want to meet the social pressure - but will also not accept that is what drove them to act as they did. So they'll rationalize - I was hypnotized. That isn't to say that the human brain doesn't behave differently when calm and focused versus distracted and overwhelmed. Isn't everyone more likely to positively respond to a suggestion given when in a calm, relaxed mood - versus angry or afraid? In the end - especially with stage hypnotists and the whole "SLEEP" or "act like a chicken" or "raise your arm / finger" nonsense - it all looks like theater, just like how "faith healers" know the "faithful" will react properly when touched - to fall into convulsions and mumble in tongues. I also wonder if some people actually desire to be mentally dominated / want to be told what to do and what to think - to give up responsibility temporarily - you know, the submissive sort of role in BDSM ? And so hypnosis is really just a way to achieve, unofficially - a power-exchange dynamic temporarily between the hypnotist and the hypnotized?
I've seen someone get hypnotized once, and it was crazy when they did. They went from looking alive and conscious to just a dead straight face distant stare. No blinking or anything.
I've tried hypnotism and I found it very useful. I have a lot of social anxiety and was devastated over a objectively minor social issue. I used hypnotism to give me confidence. As I thought back on the issue. I felt a deep apathy. I thought I might have messed myself up. Turns out thats how people act when they screw up around people they don't care about. there are dangers to doing hypnotism so be careful as should i.
+Smile Doge hardly. Though in regards to what you said, I don't think confidence can apply wit to conversation. With women less is more. Dignified, perceptive women anyway. Flowers and candy and fanfare, comments on looks etc can be seen as ingenuine. More high maintenance, possibly less independent women on the other hand like the showmanship. Know what to say comes with practice, and knowing who you want. That's my unsolicited advice.
yes with regular practice it will decrease it, im not sure if it can get rid of it permanently, i wouldnt try to do that, you'll be apathetic about everything, and possibly offend people without awareness.
Some people get hypnotize every day , tv ,movie ,school, commercial, and other people around you , they will keep on repeat over and over until you believe it .!!! That why we all need a shield to block out anything we don’t want in our life .
I watched a hypnotic video and it put me in a trance and brought back a repressed memory which caused PTSD and the hypnotic triggers became PTSD triggers.
I would say that these stunts are the result of 60% wanting to have fun and make ur friends laugh, and 40% hypnotism. This of only works on predisposed people that are willings to be hypnotised.
My experience with hypnosis is that the reality of it is more like a guided meditation and relaxation. Nobody is going to be able to make you stand up and do crazy things that you don't want to do. I have used downloaded self hypnosis mp3s. Maybe there is more that a live stage hypnotist could do, but I'm not so sure I believe that part of it, I have never experienced it. But there is something to it. The mp3s I listened to were along the lines of boosting self confidence and relaxing in social situations. I think they did help me talk to the woman I'm dating now. You can call it whatever you want, but I'm happy with the end result. Also, if you don't allow yourself to enter a trance state nothing is going to happen. If you sit there with your arms crossed, tapping your foot, saying this is bullshit, then for you it will be bullshit.
I just dont get it. i understand you have to be willing and want to be hypnotized. i WANT to be hypnotized and am very willing and open minded. Im familiar and practice with meditation and it helps my mind and body. That being said - you will never see me in my right mind clucking like a chicken or thinking the roof is gonna collapse and all the entertainment you see in performances, not in private - not in front of anyone, not ever. i cant believe that someone is "making" them believe subconsciously that they are something else. Its great to watch for entertainment but if im doing the things the hypnotist are making people do it would take $$$ or a lot of booze!
if you get a shitty hypnotist though they can really force you to do stuff against your will. It's kinda how all those lawsuits happen against hypnotherapists.
Nobody knows what hypnosis is. Each generation of hypnotists develops a theory and the next generation knocks it down. We don’t have to know what it is to use it. Nearly any phenomena demonstrated in trance can be reproduced while not in trance. While all trance is hypnosis, not all hypnosis is trance. It's not hard to guide someone into hypnosis. The skill is in what you do with the individual while they are experiencing hypnosis. I’m a consulting hypnotist and I’m constantly amazed at the difference that I can make in people's lives simply by using words. If western medicine relied more on hypnosis than drugs we wouldn’t be having an opioid crisis.
Hey my School is having us do projects, mine is on Hypnosis, but It's hard to swim through all the muck and tabloid nonsense, is there any direction you can point me in for a starting point on hypnosis?
i loved this video. especially the does hypnotherpy work you show to us. the product i found similar to this one is Amazing Hypno Perfecta Solution googled it if you like..

If you are wondering about does hypnotherapy work? I have suffered from panic attacks for years, hypnotherapy did help me, Amazing Hypno Perfecta Solution can help you too, look it up on google if interested! good luck!
I doubt that I've ever been hypnotized really deeply on purpose. You need a lot of focus for that, which I lack. However, when you give me a good book, I'll be entranced by it before you know it. I could spend hours reading a book, sitting on the same chair in the same position while the world goes on alround me. I won't even hear you if you speak to me. Same goes for archery: When I aim, it's just me, the bow, the arrow and the target. Nothing else. Not to mention that sometimes, the bow becomes me.
I can confirm even though it hasnt happened to me, my brother and a couple other students of school and he went balls off the walls, thought he and some other boys were the Backstreet Boys and the girls were backup dancers, the girls then thought they were all Taylor Swift after the hypnotist made them forget their names and made one of them, my cousin, think their full name was Taylor Swift and made the other girls think they were Taylor Swift and then they sang Taylor Swift, I was terrified during the whole ordeal and it was 10/10 experience
Of course hypnosis works, it can be powerful. But not for me or for a minority. A long time ago I took part in a series of tests on hypnosis. During two one-hour sessions, they tried. I was comfortable, but as soon as the hypnotist fed me a suggestion I opened my eyes and said "sorry!". I find it difficult to relax (some people are like that) and during those sessions I never lost control over my conscious mind. After the two sessions, I was told I couldn't be hypnotised. I was disappointed. Since then, hypnotists and others have told me that if I want my conscious mind to "lift the barrier" I have to make a conscious effort. A contradiction in terms!
The only reason you are not able to be hypnotized is that you actually thought it was going to work. The only possible way to "act" hypnotized is to consciously fake it. And do not feel bad about not being able to be hypnotized, because nobody on the face of the Earth can honestly be hypnotized.
Its fake. Its just like inception, or someone commanding you to do something. You can choose to obey those suggestions or not. Some people are easy to follow, and some aren't.
I have once read books stating that there could be some dangerous situations like for example that a woman was made to believe that her husband was a lion- and she attacked him. One man was amde to fall asleep via the word "super". This happened when his girlfriend said this, and the man fell into this deep state, so that the stage hypnotist had to come back saying that this had been the third time. One German therapist made a woman act like a child and told her she should not wake up again- meaning that he had to get deeper into that before the brain had enough by itself. And then I saw a stage hypnotist making a man forget his name and stick his arms to his head. This all frightens me...
Everytime I try and watch one of those hyponisis videos and they say Be at ease I get very anxious Everytime they say Close ur eyes I get scared when I close my eyes and I feel like someone is going to attack me
In 1726 Handel decided to make London his home permanently, and became a British citizen. (He also Anglicized his name at this time, to George Frideric.) In 1727, when Handel’s latest opera,Alessandro, was being performed, Italian opera in London took a hard hit as the result of a hostile rivalry between two female lead singers. Frustrated, Handel broke away from the Royal Academy and formed his own new company, calling it the New Royal Academy of Music. Under the New Royal Academy of Music, Handel produced two operas a year for the next decade, but Italian opera fell increasingly out of style in London. Handel composed two more Italian operas before finally deciding to abandon the failing genre.
I never really thought hypnosis was real. I saw it done once when I was in the 5th grade . My teacher hypnotised one of my classmates and I it really looked like he was faking it. Then a few years ago I went out with my best friend to a club and one of the entertainers was a hypnotist. He asked for volunteers and she raised her hand and was taken to the back with a few other volunteers . A few minutes later they all came out on stage and each volunteer was told to do something when he said a keyword. My friends keyword was "state". He told her to jump up and start waving and yelling every time he said that word. She came back down and joined me and our other friends and we all sat down to play cards. He was on stage and I had kind of tuned him out and he said "state" and she jumped up and start yelling and waving her hands and then sat back down and kept on playing cards. She had no idea she had even done that.So when asked if I believe that hypnosis is real I say " No , I do not BELIEVE that it is real , I know for a FACT that it is real!
You do realize that when the hypnotist brought them backstage, he told them to do those things don't you? Hypnotism is only real as long as people continue to believe it is. I personally do not even believe what this guy says about hypnotism. I have volunteered to be hypnotized a few times, and each time, I did nothing but fake it.
@@johnmathewson6630 Did you want to be hypnotized for real or not? Did you relax your body and do you have a big imagination? Those are keys to getting someone hypnotized. You don't have to believe in it, you just have to relax your body and the hypnotist has to be good at the rest.
i attended a lecture by a hypnotist were is hynotized the whole group. i didn't feel "under", i was very aware of what he said and everything around me, as were all. he told us that at some point he would say something, i don't recall what, and "you will not be able to stand up" then it was over. when he said whatever it was and asked up to stand no one was able to including me, i wanted to stand up but was not able to.
Definitely been hypnotized before, a lot, because it promotes some awesome feelings and benefits for me. I've also got an irrepressible passion for learning and growing my inner sense of harmony so I have a personal trance discipline that is being developed on an ongoing basis. You gave a really good explanation very well said. Worth a sub. Here's to more! And I look forward to connecting :)
Once I booked a medical hypnosis (with real experts) lecture in our cities health faculty about stopping to smoke, it also included multiple injections behind your ear . Sadly I'm still smoking and lost about 180$.
Literally yesterday I accidentally hypnotize myself while staying at a friends house. Now for context it was late about 2am, we stayed up doing nerd stuff and after we hit the hay I was so exhausted and I had to sleep in the most uncomfortable cot ever without a pillow. Now because of that I was curious and in a way bored because I couldn’t fall asleep and what I did was pull out a pocket watch I recently got from temu😂 and just kinda spinned it back in forth and just kept track of it and my vision got extremely blurry and I kinda lost track of what was going on around me and my friend who was reading on his phone next to me but I think I self hypnotized myself and only because it felt really weird and I felt extremely exhausted afterwards like all my tiredness hit at once and kinda fell asleep but also now that I woke up even though I only probably got like 4 good hours of sleep I for some reason feel pretty refreshed. I don’t know why or if I’m just really resilient but yeah that’s my story. I also had coffee when I woke up so maybe that contributed idk but yeah this happened last night 11/20/23 3:14
So, it only works if you want it to work? So meaning it doesnt work because for it to work, it should work on anyone whether or not they want to believe it or not.
I can never seem to be hypnotized, then again nobody tried it in person, I’ve only seen videos, so until they decide to allow a hypnotist to come to my school and I’ll probably never know.
Hypnosis only works on people that's kind of an airhead/blond/not all there. Hypnosis didn't work on me but it did to my cousin and he's really out there in space but smart at the same time. He swore he wasn't just playing along.
hypnosis works , just not the way you think it puts you in a state your own body can create on its own , to affect the way you think its easier when someone else guides you but its not a must
I am trying to find out if I had a trigger word or a set suggestion planted in when I was hypnotized some 15 years ago. I know...what a crazy thought huh. There are a few things that I have come to this conclusion on, some being the way someone is acting right after I cannot remember the last, 5 mins or so for instance or even sitting here, watching a movie and literally not remembering what happened in the last scene while I have been focusing on it the entire time. I already know I CAN and HAVE been hypnotized, I am just trying to figure out if there is more to it then I have initially believed.
i tend to agree with 99% of his video, and i also believe that 99% of people still have a sense of morality or fear. i also, however believe that a small portion of people between 1-5% will slip into such a deep trance state, that they become super suggestible, almost totally unaware of their surroundings, and probably would ignore fear and morality. saw an experiment a while ago (i will admit, im not 100% sure of its credibility though) where they got a bunch of people together and hypnotized them. then they asked all of them to take off their clothes. anyone that refused or woke up was out of the experiment because it would mean they were knocked out of the trance by the shock of what they were asked to do. the ones that went to the next phase, had to sit in a big tub of ice water, and they were told before they sat in it, that it would be like a hot tub. all but one of them had physical reactions to being put in that bath, increased heart rate, shivering, etc. but one of them just sat there staring straight a head, blank face, until the people got worried and took him out because they couldn't quite understand why he was not reacting. anyway, out of that whole group they found one man who was able to go through with all of it (a correctional officer) without losing his trance state. the next step (and this is why i question its credibility, but this was also the purpose of the experiment. a hypnotist wanted to see if he could create a manchurian candidate, and his answer was, probably, but you would need a very specific kind of person to do it). so anyways they get that guy in a room, and tell him everything is over, thanks for participating, etc etc. but as they go to shake his hand, he had a hypnotic cue where when his arm shook he would go into trance. so they shake his hand and he goes into trance. the hypnotist starts to tell him that downstairs there is a motorcycle with a back pack, in the back pack is a gun, and you are to wait right there, for this specific man to come out, and then you are to kill him. hes very bad, and you will be doing your country a favor". the guy goes downstairs, gets the back pack, gets the airsoft gun and shoots the actor diplomat, and then the guy just stood there like he was confused. it was really weird, and really kinda made me wonder. i still question its credibility though because i have been told for a long time now that that was supposed to be impossible. however, ice bath test was the thing that kinda hooked me. how could he suppress involuntary physical reactions, and if he could, is it a streatch to believe that we could get him to suppress other parts of his brain/psyche. im an amature here, so dont be too harsh on me if im fucking dumb :/
primoaurelius I'm not surprised, actually. I'm not a professional, so I can't say anything about it but my personal feelings on the issue, but I think that the reason he got that far was because /his personal sense of right and wrong/ INCLUDED killing "bad people" as a Good Thing. They made sure to insist that he was doing the country a favor. Not to mention he's a correctional officer. Prison guard, right? He probably felt safe using a gun, and felt alright with violence as long as it's the lesser of two evils. Not to mention I hear that prison guards are tossed out if they don't meet a certain personality requirement. (In america, anyway.) However, they don't select for good, stable people. They select for sociopaths with weak morals. So hey. Maybe he passed the hypnosis test BECAUSE he was a correctional officer. Still though, this is all hypothetical. I'm sure you'll find out the truth by just researching that test, and finding out the details.
primoaurelius Hi this is amazing video. It shows how actually Hypnosis work. I have watched many video but I have found some informative and comprehensive information by searching does hypnotherapy work. So if you want to get helpful information you can search this phrase in google.
Ghosty MacKnight i did when it came out a year or two ago, and im pretty sure, at that time, they still stood by the results. not sure about today though.
SUMI AKTER ive been researching hypnosis for years, and experimenting with it on myself and others. im not saying this video is wrong. not at all. the only thing im saying is that the "fear and morality" wall that lots of hypnotists talk about, is not a "wall", its not a 100% guarentee that you will not do something you dont agree with. subliminal messages, NLP, lucid dreaming, meditation, etc etc etc, ive been experimenting on myself with for many years now, and the conclusion i have come to is that most people dont ever reach a very deep trance state. most people, if they do go under, are just barely under. i tend to believe, based upon my own experiences, that the further into the trance you go, the more suggestible you become, or the more strange feelings/hallucinations you will experience. i just dont like working in absolutes. i do not believe that all people would ignore a command that conflicted with their morals. i tend to believe, that a healthy percentage would do it. the milgram experiment on authority figures also suggests this. add hypnosis to that and you can see where im heading. unethical, but still interesting to think about.
I was ready to drill you a new ear, but was pleasantly surprised. Good job! I've personally been putting folks under for a quarter-century. A very few are obedient slaves, right off the bat. Others require a little more: attention; effort; skill.
I dabble with self hypnosis files I find here on youtube, some work better for me than others, and I'm sure others might work better for you than for me. Hypnosis is a learnable skill, one that takes hard work and effort to get good at, I still have trouble getting relaxed enough to get into trance, but I can tell I'm getting better the more I do it. If you get into a good solid trance your body should feel like a statue and you should feel heavy, like it would take effort to lift your arm. Self hypnosis is not a magic bullet that will cure everything over night, I try to make myself do an hour of hypnosis every night to help with depression, anxiety, motivation, and basically everything else in my head that needs re programming. Hypnosis is for your mind what going to the gym is for your body. It takes hard work. Cause believe it or not its hard to sit as still as a statue for 30 minutes or longer.
I don't know much about meditation but from what I gather they seem similar. I've even heard of hypnosis referred to as 'guided meditation,' as in hypnosis is basically meditation but with two parties involved. The hypnotist makes the suggestions to reorient the mind of the person being hypnotized. Also, hypnosis goes a step further when you get into stage hypnosis in which 'instant inductions' are used. Basically, an instant induction puts a person into a trance instantly from which the hypnotist can almost hijack a persons actions. You can resist though, anyone that's been hypnotized by a stage hypnotist will tell you that they could have resisted but it felt easier to go along with it.
Now my question is: Can you just walk up to a hypnotist and just tell him that you want him to make you *anything?* e.g. make someone have a weird fetish for something they fear or be very cautious when any form of cheese is in the vicinity...? I mean would any hypnotist take you seriously if you just walked up to them and ask them to make you think you're a bag of doritos?
I would like for you to reply to this as soon as possible. I'm just gonna ask a few questions. 1-in hypnosis, like let's say your told you won't be able to move your legs for 15 minutes, I know it's mental, but like is it just you thinking, and not giving physical effort that makes you not be able to move them, (I can do that without hypnosis, like I try to in my head but not physically) or is it with your head, but physically. like you can try your hardest and nothing will happen while physically trying to move your legs. that's my main question. 2-if your answer to my first question is that you physically can't move even trying to move your muscles in your legs to move them like, then how do I go into trance, I'll look up other methods, but still, as i try I just can't seem to do it. thanks in advance. :)
I will say the only time I used Hypnosis was to get over my fear of flying. And it worked! lasted for like a 2 years. I had no fear and I was so scared before that I broke out in hives and sweat so bad my clothes would be soaked. I even got told once I was not allowed on the plane because I was sweating so bad with blotchy hives and so nervous but the Hypnosis worked until we hit a really bad wind storm and bounced around like a bouncy ball and the plane had to go back up into the sky several times before landing and then it all came flooding back from the back of my mind and now I’m fearful again and don’t get on planes. Lol
Hypnotism is real sometimes preachers use it and make people believe they talk in strange tongues they were never taught and people that do transcendental meditation where they believe their soul left their body.

A mild suggestion. Stage magicians who hypnotise people to act like a chook, that's pretty much always faked. It's not a good example. Hypnosis is very real. It can be used to implant false memories. Some people are very good subjects and some are not, but people are typically (and hilariously) very bad at predicting whether or not they're a good subject. And you don't need a terribly good understanding of what you're doing or how it works to be a good hypnotist. Instinct is often better than logic.
By and large stage magicians do magic and don’t hypnotize people. Stage hypnotists do a hypnosis act, whatever that might mean. Let's make that distinction at least.
Hypnosis is something you can do on your own. When you have to go see someone to tackle an issue then u have nopower or arent intune with your self#wake up folks
Playing horror games are also a hypnosis... specially those old looking once... imagine jumping out your chair out of fear towards a pixilated ghost or monster ...
Hypnosis only really works when the person being hypnotized, whether is be consciously or subconsciously, believes it works. If you have an adamant skeptic who refuses to believe that hypnotism is a legitimate thing and has absolutely no doubt whatsoever in their mind about that they will become damn near impossible to hypnotize. But as soon as you have that small shred of doubt it becomes easier.
Dang I closed my eyes hoping to get hypnotized and then YADA YADA YADA!

It's drunk but none of the bad side effects :^)
This sounds similar to meditation. When I focus on my breathing eventually I enter this state of trance. It feels like I'm floating in the ocean. Then after I'm focused enough I can even hear my heartbeat and I sink even deeper. It's quite nice.
I gotta give props to people who do meditation cause its much harder than hypnosis. There's no guidance (ignoring guided meditation) and its hard to just drop yourself.
In fact, hypnosis is just like meditation but with utilization.
@@Glowbe true i tried meditation and wim hof stuff adhd brain lost interest but hypnosis seems unique
Very true! Both are ways of surpassing your concious mind (quieting it) and allowing your awareness to rest elsewhere!

Is this what happens when I play video games and loose total track of time and forget to do my life?
That’s the flow state of mind. You’re so engaged that you can lose track of time, play almost effortlessly (without thinking in a way) and more.
I just did the opposite of what they told me, that did feel like hypnosis.

My study of hypnosis began 55 years ago, and its use has been a significant part of my life, extending into Aikido, Improvisation, meditation, drumming, chanting, conscious child birth, and personal well being, all of which are based in engaging altered states of consciousness.

Hi all,
I'm a Hypnotherapist (C.ht licensed by HMI of Tarzana CA) by profession, and I have to say, awesome job on explaining hypnosis in a layman-friendly way.
Wonderful.
All the best,
Tzvi

Very interesting. Can all people be hypnotised?
Stage hypnotists know for years that hypnosis is just role playing, nothing more.

Sooo...does that means always when we dream we are on hypnosis?!

Man I tried to get hypnotised by supposedly a top guy, and didn’t work.

And so hypnosis is really just a way to achieve, unofficially - a power-exchange dynamic temporarily between the hypnotist and the hypnotized?
this channel delivers every time... great work as always BB!

I've seen someone get hypnotized once, and it was crazy when they did. They went from looking alive and conscious to just a dead straight face distant stare. No blinking or anything.
I am thirteen. I was hypnotized on a cruise a couple weeks ago. The hypnotist made me do really crazy things! Totally real!
I'm a female so I don't think that would apply but thanks anyway
+Smile Doge hardly. Though in regards to what you said, I don't think confidence can apply wit to conversation. With women less is more. Dignified, perceptive women anyway. Flowers and candy and fanfare, comments on looks etc can be seen as ingenuine. More high maintenance, possibly less independent women on the other hand like the showmanship. Know what to say comes with practice, and knowing who you want. That's my unsolicited advice.
Hypnotism doesn't work on me... I can't get rid of my anxiety...
i also have problems with social anxiety. Has the hypnotic helped decrease or get rid of it
yes with regular practice it will decrease it, im not sure if it can get rid of it permanently, i wouldnt try to do that, you'll be apathetic about everything, and possibly offend people without awareness.
Didnt answer anything
It actually did.. did you watch the video?
@@Panick_Pancake no, he was hypnotized at the start,
Some people get hypnotize every day , tv ,movie ,school, commercial, and other people around you , they will keep on repeat over and over until you believe it .!!! That why we all need a shield to block out anything we don’t want in our life .
I’ve tried to be hypnotized but it didn’t work on me
I watched a hypnotic video and it put me in a trance and brought back a repressed memory which caused PTSD and the hypnotic triggers became PTSD triggers.
Hey my School is having us do projects, mine is on Hypnosis, but It's hard to swim through all the muck and tabloid nonsense, is there any direction you can point me in for a starting point on hypnosis?

haha not being able to be hypnotized by having adhd making my brain going a million miles an hour go brrrr
I got questioned when seeking answers 😢
I doubt that I've ever been hypnotized really deeply on purpose. You need a lot of focus for that, which I lack. However, when you give me a good book, I'll be entranced by it before you know it. I could spend hours reading a book, sitting on the same chair in the same position while the world goes on alround me. I won't even hear you if you speak to me. Same goes for archery: When I aim, it's just me, the bow, the arrow and the target. Nothing else. Not to mention that sometimes, the bow becomes me.
Just came from anna akana's video and needed to find this out. you guys are psychic
holy shit i was wearing headphones and the chicken noise scared the ever loving shit outta me
I can confirm even though it hasnt happened to me, my brother and a couple other students of school and he went balls off the walls, thought he and some other boys were the Backstreet Boys and the girls were backup dancers, the girls then thought they were all Taylor Swift after the hypnotist made them forget their names and made one of them, my cousin, think their full name was Taylor Swift and made the other girls think they were Taylor Swift and then they sang Taylor Swift, I was terrified during the whole ordeal and it was 10/10 experience
Xavier Kreiss ö
The only reason you are not able to be hypnotized is that you actually thought it was going to work. The only possible way to "act" hypnotized is to consciously fake it. And do not feel bad about not being able to be hypnotized, because nobody on the face of the Earth can honestly be hypnotized.
Xavier Kreiss its fake
There was a power outage half way through his video. Your computer shut down and you can now never open your eyes again.
Stuff They Don’t Want You to Know. He has a good voice for a hypnotist lol
Everytime I try and watch one of those hyponisis videos and they say
Be at ease
I get very anxious
Everytime they say
Close ur eyes
I get scared when I close my eyes and I feel like someone is going to attack me
because they are trying to get you thru the device
Im starting to think i have been hypnotized my entire life.
I was almost hypnotized by the intro only 😅😂
I never really thought hypnosis was real.

I often hypnotise myself and I get on a medieval battlefield and oh man I really feel the fight.
Definitely been hypnotized before, a lot, because it promotes some awesome feelings and benefits for me. I've also got an irrepressible passion for learning and growing my inner sense of harmony so I have a personal trance discipline that is being developed on an ongoing basis. I also had coffee when I woke up so maybe that contributed idk but yeah this happened last night

I watched the video about three times because i could'nt make out the symbol on his shirt.

So, it only works if you want it to work? So meaning it doesnt work because for it to work, it should work on anyone whether or not they want to believe it or not.
I can never seem to be hypnotized, then again nobody tried it in person, I’ve only seen videos, so until they decide to allow a hypnotist to come to my school and I’ll probably never know.

hypnosis works , just not the way you think
it puts you in a state your own body can create on its own , to affect the way you think
its easier when someone else guides you but its not a must
its just a matter of opinion, you have to allow yourself to be open to hypnosis....just like any other suggestion only what you feel to trust..
Who is here because of (A series of unfortunate events) the tv show
I get hypnotized all the time when I read I make sure no one is talking to me!
i tend to agree with 99% of his video, and i also believe that 99% of people still have a sense of morality or fear. i also, however believe that a small portion of people between 1-5% will slip into such a deep trance state, that they become super suggestible, almost totally unaware of their surroundings, and probably would ignore fear and morality. saw an experiment a while ago (i will admit, im not 100% sure of its credibility though) where they got a bunch of people together and hypnotized them. then they asked all of them to take off their clothes. anyone that refused or woke up was out of the experiment because it would mean they were knocked out of the trance by the shock of what they were asked to do. the ones that went to the next phase, had to sit in a big tub of ice water, and they were told before they sat in it, that it would be like a hot tub. all but one of them had physical reactions to being put in that bath, increased heart rate, shivering, etc. but one of them just sat there staring straight a head, blank face, until the people got worried and took him out because they couldn't quite understand why he was not reacting. anyway, out of that whole group they found one man who was able to go through with all of it (a correctional officer) without losing his trance state. the next step (and this is why i question its credibility, but this was also the purpose of the experiment. a hypnotist wanted to see if he could create a manchurian candidate, and his answer was, probably, but you would need a very specific kind of person to do it). so anyways they get that guy in a room, and tell him everything is over, thanks for participating, etc etc. but as they go to shake his hand, he had a hypnotic cue where when his arm shook he would go into trance. so they shake his hand and he goes into trance. the hypnotist starts to tell him that downstairs there is a motorcycle with a back pack, in the back pack is a gun, and you are to wait right there, for this specific man to come out, and then you are to kill him. hes very bad, and you will be doing your country a favor". the guy goes downstairs, gets the back pack, gets the airsoft gun and shoots the actor diplomat, and then the guy just stood there like he was confused. it was really weird, and really kinda made me wonder. i still question its credibility though because i have been told for a long time now that that was supposed to be impossible. however, ice bath test was the thing that kinda hooked me. how could he suppress involuntary physical reactions, and if he could, is it a streatch to believe that we could get him to suppress other parts of his brain/psyche. im an amature here, so dont be too harsh on me if im fucking dumb :/
primoaurelius I'm not surprised, actually.
Some of my family don't believe this. They think it's an act (actors) which is crap. I now wholeheartedly understand what it is. Take that family!
So they make you really relaxed and then they make u imagine a scene which feels real?
How is it different from meditation?.
It basically is guided meditation. I think it has some therapeutic value but a lot of B's attached to it .
Now my question is: Can you just walk up to a hypnotist and just tell him that you want him to make you *anything?*
e.g. make someone have a weird fetish for something they fear or be very cautious when any form of cheese is in the vicinity...?
I mean would any hypnotist take you seriously if you just walked up to them and ask them to make you think you're a bag of doritos?
The fetish one is evil. Imagine being turned on by something while also being scared of it...
Lol
In kindergarten I was hypnotized more than not
Hypnotism is real sometimes preachers use it and make people believe they talk in strange tongues they were never taught and people that do transcendental meditation where they believe their soul left their body.
I lowkey thought hypnosis was only just mind control not like a way to relax and stuff
Yes I think so I honestly don't know I just feeling like I do
So in short it's guided meditation lmfao
We start dancin and dancin... It's just beautiful cause we .. can make a lotta love before the sun goes down. Skyrockets in flight. Afternoon delight... -a-a-afternoon delight. Skyrockets in flight. Da-da-da-da... -a-a-afternoon delight!
Did anyone notice that the background kept changing colors
