Absolutely anybody can be hypnotized but nobody can be hypnotized if they don't want to be so how well it "works" will ultimately come down to how open you are to the process here. (:
Ultimately hypnosis happens when your mind experiences a belief as if it is your reality and this video is just ONE example of how you can experience that kind of hypnosis for yourself.

Here's a word of advice for people:
If the hypnosis didn't work the first few times, DON'T GIVE UP! I'd been trying for years before I watched this video and struggled thanks to my ADHD, but thanks to this great guy and my ability to fight it off, I feel better than ever. Thank you, Zach.

This was wild. Really worked for me! 😂 I was eyes closed & folded forward on the couch long before the stairs of 5. Such a weird sensation to be under suggestion and very aware and excited of it at the same time. I was smiling & giggling sometimes! This was phenomenal ❤ Would love to see more!

I think I’m very resistant to hypnosis, suggestion, even tingles from asmr, but I really tried to let go of expectation, and after seeing you hypnotize some of my favorite UA-camrs, I already felt so relaxed, and I let my mind be as still as possible. I gotta say I was able to unclasp my hands, but I felt the difficulty in doing so, and the relaxation was great! Overall I’m very surprised that this hypnosis basically worked, I never thought I’d be able to experience it! :) You are incredibly skilled at what you do

I think being able to be hypnotized requires a sense of trust with the person. If I let a stranger do it, it doesn't hit as hard as when someone i know and trust does it.@@hidingfromhumanity_
@beginnersimon it takes practice, don't feel bad. The way it worked for me was to not try so hard. When you feel relaxed, you don't "feel" hypnotised, but you begin to notice things happening, it's a normal feeling though. I've been listening to videos to go to bed with, so when he was saying "sleep", I just pretended that I was genuinely trying to go to sleep. And that was how it worked for me. Hope this helps a little
I'm a bit of a control freak so it's hard to go entirely into the experience but it was quite interesting and relaxing. Definitely at least had an effect!
I’m the same way. I think this is meant to teach us how to be the opposite of what we are..in our case probably learning how to let go?

It definitely worked for me. I had a bit of background noise/distractions when trying this, so focus was broken at times. But definitely felt the heaviness/relaxed state in my body.
I couldn’t open my eyes when you said to try, same with my hands clasped. Although I noticed as soon as I focused my attention on opening my eyes or hands, the feeling I couldn’t wore off. I could of opened my eyes and hands but instead tried to focus back on your voice.
The forgetting your name bit didn’t work for me at all. But I’d lost focus and was thinking more about the fact I hadn’t been able to open my eyes!

I remembered my name, but everything else…yeah, that worked. I have ADHD and can’t meditate, so I wasn’t sure this would even work, but I wanted it to. And when you explained it as a sort of hyperfocus, well, my brain understands that. Thank you!

The relaxing was mostly working but i think I'm just a big overthinker about what is happening to subconsciously let it happen. I could still remember my name easily that's for sure.
jasmine lopez same with me, i felt like the heavy eyes part worked a bit, but when my hands were supposed to be stuck i kept thinking: “am i supposed to be pretending that i can’t do it?” because i felt like i could easily do it if i tried. also with the name thing i couldn’t stop my mind from saying my name whenever i tried to forget it. it’s like when someone tells you to not think about something, it makes you think about it. i still felt really relaxed at the end, but for the most part it didn’t really work
@@aidenpd1006 Yes. And i would love for it to work. I go in with an open mind but who knows. Maybe it could work for me in person but since its through a screen i don't feel fully immersed. That's one of my theories. Won't know for sure unless i someday go to a liveshow probably

This is actually awesome everything worked except for the name part, and by the end of the video I was saying in my head what I want to fix and I kept thinking “INSECURITIES” then I thought of “CONFIDENCE” and now I feel amazing I’m going to be doing this more because I truly believe this worked I feel more confident and that’s new to me my anxiety and depression and how I feel about myself washed away like nothing I mean I was actually diagnosed with depression and severe anxiety I still am but my confidence went sky high and feel absolutely amazing with how I feel right now, and feel great that I actually shut down and listened and connected with myself in a way that’s unreal. I honestly believe that hypnosis can do much more than traditional therapy. Don't waste your best years in psychiatric facilities filling out Mandalas and argueing with scumbag people. Get a good hypnotherapist or read some good books about self improvement instead.

I’ve been trying for so long to be hypnotized and was so disappointed with all my results so far, but I retried this video and it worked it really worked. I gotta. Being hypnotize is nothing like I expected. It feels you know your in control if you can’t stop yourself from doing it. I also felt the relaxation and had very little thought apart from what your suggestion where.

This Concept of Hypnosis, is feels just like meditation that focuses on mindfulness. Thank you for teaching me something new :)
I’ve just done this and I can say when he said you cannot open your eyes l, I genuinely could not open my eyes, but I made me laugh that i actually couldn’t open my eyes, I was just so shocked because I always thought I couldn’t be hypnotised, but there you have it, I can. After my little laugh and shock, I brought myself out of it, so you do still have control to some degree, as I was able to bring myself out of it.
