While this may be semi-popular on my channel, It is one of my first and I believe it to be of low quality by my current content standards. I recommend my more recent videos over this one.
IMO, the movie should NOT have been about Wanda. It should have been about Dr. Strange and trying to come to terms with the consequences of his actions. Also, instead of Wanda being the main villain, it should have been the Illuminati
i feel like the perfect main villain would’ve been sinister strange. in the beginning it’s set up how strange isn’t truly happy due to christine getting married. sinister strange would be the reflection of that self-hatred.
Baron Mordo should have been the main antagonist. The proper one from the main universe. They could have him being inspired by Thanos to wipe out all sorcerers in a single blow (actually follow up the post credits scene from the first movie) so he manipulates Wanda into helping him get a hold of the Darkhold and America Chavez's powers so he can accomplish such a feat
I wanted Nightmare to be the villan and Mordo would've joined him to help defeat Strange. Wanda should've helped Strange fight them both and then at the end Wanda is shown being corrupted by the Darkhold instead of in WandaVision.
A few things I personally would’ve changed were for one: more multiverse, multiverse is in the title and we really mainly get to see like four universes and they don’t feel that special, I think we should’ve seen more than that that go absolutely insane, again it’s MULTIVERSE of MADNESS, another thing has to do with Scarlet Witch, I don’t think she should’ve been the villain, I get that she’s always been that type of character that rides the line between good and evil but I don’t care if she gets possessed by a freaking magic book how am I supposed to care about her when she takes control of an entire town and doesn’t try to redeem herself fully, that could’ve been her whole thing in this movie, she doesn’t feel like she’s done enough to redeem herself after what happened with Westview so she decides to help Strange and America to do that (and maybe because of Billy and Tommy, with America being younger than them Wanda could regularly be looking after her kind of like mother instincts or something (that’s not to say Wanda would become like a mother to America, it’s just something that happens with Wanda after having her own kids even if they weren’t real)), since Wanda isn’t the villain I guess Mordo could be the villain, seriously a throwaway line from Strange how Mordo had tried to kill Strange a few times before back in the main universe, WHAT?! Why didn’t we see that, these two should be archenemies so why didn’t we see the first time they fought and how Strange reacts to it and Mordo going around killing sorcerers, that could even be the thing with Mordo, he’s going after America to kill her, steal her powers, and kill sorcerers across the multiverse, oh and speaking of America, for crying out loud Raimi will you please stop with this whole damsel in distress thing, that’s my biggest problem with the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy, MJ is ALWAYS needing to be saved and it got so tiring and now a multiverse traveler is always needing to be saved by Strange, really? Yes America is in danger but she should be at least TRYING to defend herself, but with Mordo coming after her then Strange and Wanda need to give her backup and she should’ve immediately had control of her powers, for Pete’s sake in the final battle of the movie she was literally a Deus Ex Machina, “I can’t beat her, I don’t have control of my powers”, “yes, you can, you just gotta believe in yourself”, “I did it!”, what is this, the Flash Season 7?! (Also another thing concerning America Chavez and the multiverse, why the heck does she not seem to know some things I mean she’s been to how many universe and has never even heard of Spider-Man, what?)
I found it annoying that Marvel forgot about all of Wanda's still living friends who could have talked her out of it Old Man Steve Rogers could have shown up and given her a speech about how she's not a bad person. Steve once had to sacrifice everything be knew and loved once after all so he can empathize with her Hawkeye could have done the same thing, she bonded with him in Age of Ultron and Civil War after all Nick Fury surely would have had some kind of contingency plan in place to stop Wanda??? White Vision could have returned with all his memories restored in some capacity and the two just vanish somewhere onto the multiverse to go and make that life together Or Strange could have brought in Pietro from another universe (the real one not another stupid joke). A version of Pietro that survived during Age of Ultron while Wanda was killed instead
Wanda can move while astral projecting. I don’t know if you remember the wandavision post credit scene but in it, Wanda is astral projecting as scarlet witch while her body is brewing tea. The “subdue” aspect wouldn’t really work. Also I think Wanda should’ve never been a villain since she’s got loads of development left in her MCU journey
Wanda should’ve only teamed up with strange, and halfway through the film Mordo or even strange notices that her eyes are getting darker. Both are unaware of what hidden power she is possessing. Slowly getting corrupted throughout the film. They could’ve turnt her to a full on villain in Her own movie or an avengers project. Or even used the WWH storyline and trap her in a dimension she can’t escape alone with the darkhold.
I'm also rewriting (sort of) this movie but changing so much about the film. Strange will be at the forefront of my version and his multiverse travels will teach him lessons as he goes to each new world. The multiverse is a great way for Strange's character development.
Great video. I like the canon film but yeah I admit it's a mess. For myself if I were rewriting it I would make America chavez more like her comic book counterpart but with better writing Though this film rewrite would have it so that it's nightmare and Shuma Gorath are the villains
Hey nice video I'm glad I'm not the only one who found this horrible movie without exaggeration hate his mood swings wants to be dark and serious but ends up being the same boring story full of bad jokes from the MCU what they do to Strange is horrible as it is Is it possible that in No Way Home Strange if he used all his tricks and was cold when saying that he does not care if the villains who are not from his universe and do not know die, but with Wanda he does not care what he did in West View? And worse, he just ran from Wanda, where is the Strange who fought Thanos and told Tony Stark the truth about him to his face? And in the first place why do you give it the title Multiverse of Madness if there is no multiverse they didn't even explain the rules of it well they just showed that Kevin Fish has no idea how the multiverse works
Bit of an off topic thing but i would like to share my opinion about something. In this film, Wanda doesn't really feel powerful, everyone else just seems to be nerfed. The sorcerer's and the illumati just seemed dumped down for wanda to just blast. They don't use abilities that were established like sling rings or anything that would help take her down. Also maybe it's just me, but nothing Wanda has done has made me think she should be taken to be a serious threat. Don't get me wrong, the things she has done (like the hex, dream walking, reality warping) are fucking cool. But she's built up to be this larger then life being that's gonna change everything, but we haven't really seen it. Agatha talks about how strong she is, but nothing she's shown tells me she should be taken as seriously as a celestial being or a god. Don't get me wrong, i think Wanda has alot of potential for those two things I've listed. In the comics she's incredibly powerful, she could rival a god at some point but i feel like marvel is just holding back a bit. But thats just my own opinion. I'm not claiming to be an expert on this subject so feel free to disagree
I am a huge Wanda fan, so I didn't hate the movie because Lizzie Olsen was in it. But it terribly disappointed me. First of all, it completely ruined Wanda's arc, making it seem like it was less complex than it actually was. I've seen people say that Strange was nerfed in comparison to Wanda, and he was...but so was The Scarlet Witch. The entire point of Wandavision was pretty much just showing us that Wanda can bend reality to her will, yet in this film we see her do that once, and on a minor scale. For the entire film, aside from the darkhold spells, she uses abilities that we've seen her display in her first appearances, just in a more reckless manner. Let's be honest, the movie was about Wanda, no idea why they called it "Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse Of Madness", but ultimately the film did no good to her either.
I hate how they handled Strange's character in this movie. All he's done and they chalked him down to "not over Christine". It makes me so that I really don't want to watch the 3rd when it comes out because you can just tell that he's going to be sidelined (again) with Clea now in the picture
I think saying the film was HORRIBLE is a bit of a stretch. It wasnt good by any means but I wouldnt say it was "utter garbage" either. It was pretty mid, not great but not absolutely terrible
I strongly disagree. Id genuinely give this movie a 1 or 2 / 10. The entire thing destroys either character or worldbuilding at any and every point. The only thing I would call genuinely good is the performances. Performances don't make badly written films good though.
For me if it is horrible without exaggeration it is one of the 10 worst superhero movies I have seen Those changes of rhythm from comedy to darkness are very bad and it is outrageous how they treated iconic characters
Arcane has its flaws but they are minor. And it is also quite well written. There are also many other things that are written well. Infinity war, Civil War and Spider Man Homecoming as examples from the MCU.
@@Lycan072 Well, A crowd cheers as she almost kills them. Then, she shoots down a giant ant-man head by accident. This head gains momentum from nowhere and the crowd cheers harder as this head tries to kill them. Also, a massive Mjolnir rams into a regular Human twice and she's fine. You're dodging a bullet.

I would've loved to see Shuma-Gorath(Or Gargantos in the movie) or Chthon as the main villain personally.
I've seen it. How is it possible for this to exist? Micheal Waldron is now my most hated writer.
I hated him after what he did to loki. I heard he's writing the next X-Men installment, "yay..."😑
Same. I don’t even want to credit him for Loki S2. I hate him so much
